The next morning, Luz woke up and sat on her bed. Her mind had so much going through it. Especially with what happens last night and what she did to her mother.
"What am I going to do?"
"Talk to your mother like you should've last night?" The nanobots answered Luz.
"It's not that simple!" Luz said.
"Nothing ever is but it's better to talk to someone about it instead of bottling your feelings." The nanobots said to her.
Luz knew they were right but this wasn't a normal topic to talk about, especially since it was connected with her father's death shorty after! Luz just sat on her bed, unmoving. She wishes it was easy to talk to her mom about this. A knock came at her door as she looked to it, knowing who it was.
"Mija, it's me. Can we please talk?" Camilia asked.
Luz was confused, she didn't know what to do. Luz noticed her window was opened and, in her confusion, she jumped out it and started running.
"Master, what are you doing? Why are you running from your mother?" The nanobots asked Luz.
"I just need some time to clear my head, ok-"
Luz was knocked down when she hit a door.
"I don't remember this door being here." Luz said, "I'm going to open it."
"Master no, we sense a strange energy coming from this door." The nanobots warned her.
"It will be fine, it's just a door."
Luz opened it and went through. If only Luz had listens to her nanobots, she would've learned she would be on an adventure and learn secrets she isn't ready for.
"Woah, what is this place?"
Looking around, Luz found herself in a tent of sorts filled with dozens of random items and trinkets. Some normal, other weird, and all of it seemingly thrown away common items.
"Huh, and I thought I had a lot of weird stuff." Luz said, picking up a doll, "Where could someone even get all this?"
"Unknown, Luz, but be wary. This location is not coming up on our GPS." The nanobots said to Luz before a voice was heard.
"Alright, let's see what you brought back."
Luz walked towards the tent flap and saw a woman. She had a long mane of gray, uncombed hair and wore a slightly torn red dress with a red polka dot scarf on her head. The woman was looking through a bag of sorts and pulled out random items before tossing them as "garbage"
"Garbage." She tossed away a phone.
"Garbage." She tossed away a diamond/cubic zirconium ring.
"Garbage." She tossed away a glowing, gold chalice that MIGHT have been the legendary holy grail.
"I'm so going to keep that in mind." Luz said, "Maybe she could tell me where I am."
'"Be cautious, she is a stranger." The nanobots said, trusting Luz since they make her stronger.
Luz walked up to the woman and tapped her.
"Excuse me, ma'am." Luz said as the woman turned to her.
"What the? How did you get in my tent?"
"I don't know but I just appeared from a random doorway." Luz said before looking over a table in front of her, "You don't really seem to know what you're selling, do you?"
"Of course I do!" the woman said to Luz.
"Really? Then what is this?" Luz asked as she picked up a yellow croc.
"A human foot with holes in it!" She said.
"WRONG! It's a shoe." Luz said as she put it back on the table.
"Alright miss know it all, what's this then?" She said, pointing to the tv.
"I do know all. I have all human knowledge in me." Luz said.
"Thanks to us." The nanobots said but Luz could also feel they were smirking.
'And I thank you for that.' Luz though as she took two batteries from a tray of "candies."
"Candies? Really?"
The woman didn't reply and she turns her nose into the air.
"Based on behavior and scans, we can assume this woman is not human." The nanobots told Luz as she put the batteries in the tv.
'Well, whatever she is, she needs someone to tell her what this stuff is before she kills someone.' Luz thought.
Luz turned on the tv and showed everyone an old exercise video, causing all attention to turn to the stand. Eda noticed this and saw the people asking how much for it.
"What did you say your name was again?"
"Luz Noceda, ma'am." Luz said with a smile.
"Name's Eda, Luz. You're pretty quick witted for a human." Eda said as she began taking money from her strange looking customers.
"Thanks but…..you're not a human, are you?" Luz asked, remembering what her nanobots said.
"No, I am not, just as you aren't in the human realm." Eda said as she took off her scarf, showing her pointed elf like ears.
"So, I'm going to assume you're some kind of witch." Luz said.
"Wow, you are smart."
"Like I said, I know everything in the Human Realm. From the past, the present, I can even speak every language."
"Really? You must be some kind of superhuman." Eda said with a smirk.
"You could say that. But what about you, Eda? You don't seem like a normal witch." Luz said as she rubbed her chin.
"That's because I'm not, for I am the most POWERFUL witch in the Boiling Isles!" Eda said as she stood up on her stand table.
"Thats interesting."
"More than interesting! I am feared, adored, respected!" Eda said dramatically.
"And busted!" A burly voice said before a large hand smashed the tv to pieces!
The demonic people around Eda's stand began running away in fear as the large man wearing a cone on his face turned to Eda.
"Eda the Owl Lady! You are under arrest for unlawful witchcraft and magic abuse!" He said as he unrolled a wanted poster of Eda.
'Alright, this should be interesting.' Luz thought, 'This place probably has very strict magic laws.'
"Possibly." The nanobots said to Luz.
"And you girl, are under arrest via association." The guard said as he grabbed Luz by the arm.
"I am going to give you one chance to let go of my arm." Luz said.
"Are you threatening me, kid?" The guard asked as he glared at Luz.
"No, I'm not threatening you, sir." Luz said as she narrowed her eyes at him, slowing glowing. "I'm WARNING you."
He noticed this and got nervous. Still, he has to stay firm, and he has a job to do!
"You are both under arrest!" He said.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Luz said, aiming her hand towards him.
The nanobots transformed Luz's arm into robotic as energy began charging in her palm.
"What the heck?!" The guard said in shock!
"Hmm?" Eda hummed with curiosity.
Luz blasted him before turning to Eda.
"I think we should go, the paralysis only lasts a few minutes."
Eda was confused on what just happened but she knew enough to not let this slip away and quickly used magic to pack up her stand into a bag.
"Follow me Kid!"
There, she's in the Isles, are you people happy now!? The amount of people that have been bugging me about when she will get there was beyond annoying! Be patient!
