Where they were taken, who they were with, it was all blackness. But the survivors from Sector 5 have discovered they were taken to a chamber.
Jeremie couldn't confess but he admits everything that happened in Sector 5 is his fault. His interests costed a lot of lives. "What have I done?", Jeremie said. His head lowered.
"No one could've predicted it, Jeremie.", Maya advised.
"Yeah, but what about the thousands I killed... indirectly?", Jeremie said. "I'm supposed to be the smartest, yet I wasn't able to foresee I am unleashing a monster on the entire planet. Shouldn't have taken that rock to Sector 5 for research. Guess we were stupid to not see XANA was in there".
"So, you're responsible for those creatures risen from the grounds of darkness?", Sissi said.
"Sissi?", Jeremie muttered in shock. He did not perceive Sissi was eavesdropping them.
"This information will ensure father remains King.", Sissi said. "By the wrath of Lyoko, justice will be served, Jeremie.".
"Sissi, wait!", Maya said. Sissi wasn't stopping. Maya lays her hand out, trying to generate a rock so Sissi could trip on it. Herb pushed Maya away, thus causing Maya to fail stopping Sissi.
Jeremie stabs Herb's thigh and punches his face. Nicholas appears, and pushes Jeremie away from Herb. Nicholas and Jeremie fight each other. Unfortunately for Jeremie Nicholas got the upper hand. Jeremie's punches are too slow and soft. On the other hand, Nicholas' punches are swift and more effective in damaging Jeremie. Nicholas may be the most dumbest person he met, he does prove himself to be a good combatant. Nicholas is on top of Jeremie, trying to choke the latter to death. Nicholas was unsuccessful once William, Yumi and Odd got involved and dragged Nicholas away. They knocked both Nicholas and Herb out cold.
"Wow, I think we went a little overboard.", Odd commented.
"Quick,we need to go after Sissi!", Jeremie said loudly.
"Jeremie what's going on?", Yumi asked.
"I'll explain later, hurry!", Jeremie said.
Everyone left the chamber.
They ran through the hallways. Jeremie hopes there is time to stop Sissi. Obviously killing her isn't an option. She is not evil, though there is indication she could be selfish. If Jeremie or his new friends had powers to erase memories, his frustrations could slightly reduce. Sissi's trail wasn't so hard to pursue as guards are chasing after her. The trail brought them to a meeting room. They were too late to stop Sissi. Sissi unveiled the truth: Jeremie caused the thousands of fatalities.
The Heads of Lyoko took a moment to process the information.
Sissi's father King Delmas ponders what Sissi's intentions are. He had never seen Sissi straightforwardly accusing people. He chuckles awkwardly. "Please forgive my daughter's uncharacteristic downright behaviour, she gets very upset when something bad happens to the family.", he said.
"No, father!", Sissi shouted. Her father was shocked over Sissi's attitude. "There is truth in my words. Jeremie Belpois and his girlfriend caused the awakening of a monstrosity. Their sudden disappearances from training, them always working for themselves with no affiliation with other cadets, the return to Sector 5 happening on the same time XANA or whatever thing was unleashed, this all connects. Jeremie is the mastermind.".
The Heads of Lyoko finally took note of this before noticing a few more people barged into the room.
Sissi turned, seeing Jeremie Belpois is here with his friends.
"Jeremy Belpois.", one of the Heads of Lyoko said.
Jeremie didn't like the tone of the voice and his named called out by the Heads.
"Jeremie Belpois, son of the Chief Librarian of the Lyoko Archives?"
"That is right.", Jeremie said.
"Does what Sissi say speak truth?"
Jeremie paused, lowering his eyes. He finally looks up. "Yes.", he said sadly.
"Jeremie!", Maya muttered.
"I was the mastermind behind it all. I forced Maya Schaeffer out of her will to support my operations, and manipulated her into awakening my master.", Jeremie said. It wasn't the full truth he said. Maya willingly made herself involved with. Jeremie did not want Maya to suffer the same way Jeremie is bound to have.
"This is-!", Maya was cut off as Jeremie punched her. Maya instantly lost conscious.
Jeremie's hand was covered with yellow light which might've been used to enhance his punches. That's how he was able to make Maya lose conscious. What the...?, Yumi, Odd and William were shocked. Why would Jeremie hurt her own girlfriend?
One of the Heads of Lyoko stood and gestured his guards to move. "Guards, arrest Jeremie Belpois!", he ordered. The guards complied. They overpowered Jeremy, and pinned him on the floor.
Yumi, Odd and William couldn't get involved. They would get arrested too. Yumi noticed Jeremie is moving his hand in a peculiar way. As soon as Yumi saw the strange hand movement, Jeremie was dragged out of the room.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Elsa and Ulrich watched it. They were shocked with the fact Jeremie brought about XANA's awakening. They saw the blonde-haired boy got taken out of the rooms by the guards.
"Jeremie did this?", Ulrich exclaimed in shock.
The Heads also ordered the guards to take Jeremie's friends out of the room.
"Where are they taking them?", Ulrich asked.
"To interrogation.", Elsa answered. "Out of all the places, this place is the worst for interrogation.".
"Why do you think that?", Ulrich asked.
"It does not matter if your friends prove their innocence or show they are not acquainted with Jeremie Belpois, they will be executed right after their interrogation.", Elsa said.
When Ulrich learns this, he is astonished. He was not known of the extreme methods these leaders would go through.
"We can't stop them, Ulrich. They represent Lyoko.", Elsa said sadly.
Ulrich clenched his fists. He is frustrated they cannot stop the Heads of Lyoko.
