"Copper? Alexis?" Tod asks as he comes over sadly.
"Hi." Copper says.
"Hi." Tod says sadly.
"We still friends?" Copper asks.
"I don't know. Aren't you all mad?" Tod asks as Alexis nods.
"Well I've been thinkin'. I've been kind of a cabbage head. If that ain't right then grits ain't groceries. Well anyway. I sure am sorry." Copper says apologetically.
"I'm sorry as well." Alexis says.
"Yeah I'm sorry too. Hey I just got a great idea. Hang on. I got somethin' for ya." Tod says as he runs off.
"Thanks but I didn't get you anything." Copper says as Tod runs over with a hat.
"No. It belongs to the talent scout. I figured you can use it to find him. You know if you still want that audition." Tod says.
"Great idea Tod." Alexis says as she wags her tail.
"How?" Copper asks curiously.
"Your real huntin' dogs aren't ya? And this here hat is his address. Yeah. That's it. Get a good whiff. Okay you two get the scout and I'll go get the band." Tod says as the group runs off.
*Timekskip*
"Well we found him. Now what?" Copper asks as he and Alexis find the talent scout in a building.
"This!" Alexis says as she hops up onto a car and howls loudly before Copper joins her.
"Copper where's Dixie?" Cash asks as he and the band run over.
"She'll be along." Copper says as he and Alexis jump off the car before Tod comes over with Dixie before Cash goes over to Dixie.
"Way to go guys!" Tod says happily before Dice and Cash look at Alexis, Tod and Copper.
"What in tarnation? I thought you were in trouble. Just exactly why did you get us all together?" Cash asks annoyedly.
"Like the words in the song. Like the sun and blue skies. Um..." Copper says.
"Like summer nights and fireflies." Rose says as Alexis smiles.
"Like an itch." Floyd says.
"And a scratch." Waylon says.
"Well ain't somebody gonna sing?" Rose asks annoyedly before Dixie starts singing as the band begins to all get on top of a car while Tod pushes open the door to the diner getting the talent scout's attention. The talent scout then starts dancing as he listens to Copper, Alexis and the band singing before he then grabs Cash and begins dancing with him happily before Alexis and Copper see Tod leave.
"Alexis?" Copper asks as he looks at Alexis.
"It's okay. Go on. You're needed at home. I'm not." Alexis says as she smiles at Copper.
"Be careful." Copper says as he smiles at Alexis.
"I will." Alexis says as she nuzzles Copper before he leaves.
"Guess we'll be getting a new member after all. Come on everyone. We should get back to Lyle." Cash says as the group begins to leave.
"We're really happy you're staying." Floyd says as he and Waylon walk next to Alexis.
"Me too." Alexis says as she smiles.
"And such a beautiful addition to the group." Waylon says as Floyd nods.
"Well I'm not complaining since I'll have two handsome males to keep me company." Alexis says as she smiles at Waylon and Floyd making them smile back at her.
