(S)Witch On!

Gentaro Kisaragi was about to head to school but his manga was taken by a adorable owl. Now he is spreading his cheerful nature and friendship to the citizens of the Boiling Isle and defending it as a Kamen Rider

A young man puts on his jacket after styling his hair into a pompadour. His room was filled with boxes and furniture covered in a white sheet. Like everything in the house he lives. The furniture is covered in sheets, the appliances in the kitchen are unplugged and empty, and the one room in the house is completely empty, only remaining in an atmosphere of sadness and sorrow. He grabbed his bag near his bedroom door, looking at the room one last time before turning off the light. He sighed before his face summoned a smile on it, "Well maybe one day, I'll return once I finish school." He walked out of the house, but not before he said, "Goodbye, grandpa!" And left the house. Walks the streets of his neighborhood while reading a brochure to a new high school as he is beginning his freshmen year there.

It seems to be a boarding school which is mandatory to move in, which is why the boy had to move out and store his belongings away for the time being. He stopped walking all of sudden and began clearing his throat, "My name is Gentaro Kisaragi! And I'll make friends with everyone in this school!" He spoke out loud then chuckled to himself, "Keep at it and I am sure that I'll make enough friends to make my grandfather proud." Then a book fell out of his bag. The cover showed an image of a hero with a beetle motif, with ruby red compound eyes and golden horn like head crest. The title says Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Gentaro walked away from the book for a good few inches until he realized that something fell out of his bag and turned to see what fell out. But when he saw what fell out, he saw a cute little owl stealing his manga. He chases after the little owl when it tries to leave. The young boy followed the owl into an abandoned house in the woods. At first, he was hesitant but that manga was important to him so he needs it back now.

He runs into the house and follows the owl to a random open door in the house, believing it was to the back yard. Once he entered the lone door, everything around him changed and noticed a lot of stuff, mostly junk though. Confused but continued moving on, "Did I enter someone's room?"

"Owlbert, you're back. Let's see what you got for me," Gentaro heard a voice on the other side and followed it. He sees a middle aged woman with silver and gray hair, it seems to be the owner of that owl as it flies up to her staff and the owner is screwing it back on as if it was never a real owl. The woman digs through the bag and pulls out a few luxury items such as a smartphone, a diamond ring, and a wait… is that the holy grail!? All of them are considered garbage by the woman! But she found something that'll make her rich… a pair of silly glasses! She also found the Kuuga manga, "And this will be good kindling," then raised the book over the candle on her table, slightly burning it,

The young man quickly runs and steals his book back, "Oi! Oi! Oi! Sorry but this belongs to me," making a run for it towards the door but it was automatically closed by that woman which scared Gentaro since he is in unknown territory,

"You're not going anywhere," The lady said to him,

Gentaro goes under the tent and escapes through it where he witnesses something extraordinary. On the edge of the cliff where he sees all kinds of monster-like creatures. It looked so unreal to him yet he couldn't believe where he ended up, "Where am I?" He then meets a fairy flying up close to the boy, "Um, are you here to help me?"

The fairy then opened her mouth, showing him her big human-like teeth, "Give me your skin!"

"Shit!" He quickly punched the fairy in self defense, "Am I in hell?" he asked himself then felt a hand on his shoulder,

"HA! You wish," The lady said to him then drags him back to her stand and places him on a stool,

"Sorry sorry, I didn't mean to run away from you. Just let me leave and we won't hurt each other," Gentaro begged to her,

"Hurt you?" she asked, "Why would I hurt a potential customer?" behind her is a sign that says 'Human Collectibles' which made the boy confused by that answer, "Can I offer you a human foot filled with holes?" she showed him a bright yellow croc footwear, "A bar of green human candy?" She showed him a bar of deodorant, "Oh oh how about this black shadow box that only reflects sadness?" She then showed him a portable television where it reflect his face on the blank screen,

Gentaro chuckled which made the lady unamused, "That's not what it all does. Let me show you," He looks around and sees a pair of AA batteries and inserted them into the T.V. He turns it on, which shows a program playing. This brings the attention of the shoppers around them as they bid on the television.

The lady is impressed by the boy's knowledge, "What's your name, kid?"

"My name is Gentaro Kisaragi, ma'am! And I am going to make friends with everyone!" He said it proudly as he raise his hand towards her,

She grinned, "Well Gentaro, that was pretty clever… for a human," she said while taking the money known as snails,

"What an odd thing for another human to say to another,"

"Oh child," She dramatically takes the cloth off of her hair, revealing her pointy ears, "I'm not like you," she is now standing on the table, "I am Eda, The Owl Lady! The most powerful witch on the Boiling Isle!"

"A witch?" he asked,

"I am respected, feared-" Then the mini television is crushed by a fist,

"Busted!" This scares off the crowd, "Eda, The Owl Lady, you are under arrest for your magical crimes!" A huge guard said to the witch,

"Whoa, I never thought I meet a criminal today either,"

"You are hereby to come with me to the Comfirmintorium," the guard said as he grabs Eda's wrist,

Eda pulled her arm away, annoyed, "Would you guys please stop following me around? I haven't done squat,"

The guard tried to grab Gentaro, "And you're coming with me too, for fraternizing with the criminal!" But then his face was meet with the human boy's fist, knocking him back away from him,

"Oi! That is not a reason to grab someone," Gentaro said,

"Wow kid, never thought you have the guts to do it," Eda was surprised by the boy being quick to hit back, then she quickly packed her things up and retrieved her door that revealed to be portable, "Follow me human!" she yelled as she ran with Gentaro following her now.

"You know this is not how I imagined my day would go! Already I'm wanted man!"

Eda cackled, "Well kid, I won't let them hurt you. You're worth to me more alive than dead!"

"Huh?" Confused, "What is that supposed to mean?" It wasn't answered when the outlaw witch grabs his wrists and takes him to the sky with her, escaping the guard.

Intimidated by being high off the ground, Gentaro held on to the witch's staff. He looked at the land below him and was in awe at the sight of it, "What is this place?"

"This is the Boiling Isle, where every myth you humans have seen comes from here," Eda said to the boy. Soon a griffin flies next to them and breathes spiders,

"Did it just breathe spiders?"

"Yep. Griffins, vampires, giraffes,"

"Giraffes?'

"Yeah, we banish those freaks,"

Gentaro can never go to the zoo the same way again, "Gramps was right to never trust those guys then," When they landed, Eda's hand was still holding to the staff and away from her body. Naturally the boy is startled by the sight of it but Eda takes her hand back and reattach it,

"It happens,"

"Well I am late for school and had enough adventure for one day," Gentaro said to her, "I need to go back to my world as soon as possible, so could you help me?"

"Only if you help me first," She laughed and walked to her house, "Come along human," soon he followed her to the house,

"Aren't you worried about them finding this place?"

"Nope, this place has the state of the art security system," She said, "Keeps away cops and ex-boyfriends,"

Gentaro chuckled a bit, "You must be a real heartbreaker then,"

Upon reaching the door, they see a face on it and it says, "Hoot hoot password please," then gets poked in the eyes, "Ow!"

"We don't have time for this, Hooty. Let us in," Eda said with a deadpan expression,

"Alright alright jeez…" He said irritatedly, "You never let me have any fun… Ow… Hoot!" He then expands his mouth greatly like an opening portal. The two enter the house via Hooty and then closes his mouth and burps as if he ate them.

Inside the house, candles lit up and brightened the place up, "Welcome to the Owl House! Where I hide away from modern day problems,"

"Cool," the young boy gasped in awe while looking around the home, "So you live alone?" then came a shaking feeling,

"I have a roommate," Eda said looking at the large shadow entering the living room,

"Who dares intrude upon my presence?" the deep voice and large figure reduced to a small one with a squeaky voice, "The King of Demons!" a black fur creature with a skull like head wrapped in a towel, holding a rubber duck,

Gentaro couldn't help but aww at the little guy, "Well aren't you frightening," he kneel down to his level and rubs his head, which annoys the demon,

"Hey don't mock me!" then his cheeks were getting rubbed by Gentaro like he was a pet, "Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop!" it was ignored, "Eda! Who is this monster!?"

"This is Gentaro the Human. He's going to help us with our situation," Eda said as she pull the boy away from King,

"Oh hooray!" he said in happiness and excitement,

The human asks them, "I need some context in what you mean by situation,"

Eda then explained that King was once the King of Demons but when he lost his crown, he lost powers in the process which resulted in him becoming a small creature. His crown is being held by the evil Waren Wrath, locked away in a forcefield that only a human can enter, "... So what do you say, kid? Wanna help this adorable little guy get his crown back?"

While Eda held up King like a cute doll, Gentaro thought about this possibly dangerous quest that will-"I'll do it! Anything for my new buddy!"

"Good!" She drops King and drags their new helper out of the house.

The trio is standing in front of a gray place that reeks of despair and somehow walnuts. Gentaro looks a bit nervous in doing this but he wants to return home, so he needs to toughen up. He sees another wanted poster of Eda, "Wow, you're quite famous around here,"

"Yep," Eda said, "But we were never caught because we're too slippery"

"Can't catch me when I am covered in grease, I'm a squirmy little fella!" King then slide off of Gentaro's head and landed on the ground but then got up, "You and I are going to sneak to the top of the tower where they keep my crown,"

"And I'll make sure the warden is distracted," Eda said while performing a spell that creates a circle under his and King's feet, "Race you two to the top," As she gets on her staff and flies off.

Gentaro grabs hold of the ledge of an open window while King uses him as a ladder to get inside with the boy entering last.

Once inside, he couldn't believe what he saw, hundreds of prison cells like a dungeon, "What is the place?"

"The Comfirmintorium," He heard a voice, he turned to see a dark skinned woman with fangs, "What are you doing outside of your cell?" she asked,

"Oh I am not a criminal" he answered,

"Yet," King added,

"Neither are we, stupid warden likes to imprison those who don't fit in," she said angrily, then showed the two her book, "Like I enjoy writing fanfiction of food falling in love,"

"Really?" He asked, "I am sure where I am from would make a show on that," this made the woman smile,

Then a large male creature spoke up, "I'm here because I like eating my own eyes," he said as he ate his eye then it pops back into one of his eye sockets,

"Well you clearly are threat to me," The brought back a smile back the large guy's face,

Then a tiny voice spoke up, "We are agents of free expression! They will never silence us!"

"Yeah, she is really big into conspiracy theories," the food fanfic writer said,

"We are pawns in someone's fanfiction who loves friendship and witches!" the tiny creature screamed,

"Well to me, you guys haven't done anything wrong at all" the human said, then looked at The Owl Lady's poster, "Everyone is different but we still have beating hearts!"

Then they feel and hear stomping feet approaching the hold cells, "It's the warden, hide!" As much as Gentaro wants to fight the guy, he has to listen and hide in one of the cells. Soon after, a large figure wearing a plague doctor like mask enter the cells,

"I can hear you," he said, then stomped towards the discarded poster, "what are you fools whispering about?" he picks it up, "Ah, The Owl Lady," then crushes it before morphing his hand into a mallet and strikes it against the iron balls of Gentaro's cell, "I'll get her soon enough." Then the tiny creature started to ramble on which annoys the warden to have him walk to the cell and unlock it. The creature happily tried to escape but was easily grabbed and crushed by the warden, "Let this be a lesson for all of you, there is no place for you in society if you can't fit in." Then he left with the tiny creature in hand.

Once he leaves, Gentaro angrily kicks the prison bars, "That's bullshit! There is no right for anyone to treat anyone like that even if they are different!"

The woman sighed, "It's no use kid, just get out of here while you still can." she looks down, "Enjoy freedom for all of us."

Sadden, Gentaro just leaves the prison cells, "I'll be back to you all. That's a promise for my buddies!" then he finally left.

Down the hall, Gentaro have finally met Eda, "Hey kid, the warden got distracted by torturing a tiny creature, so he won't be down here for awhile," this made Gentaro a bit more angry but irnogre his feelings and go to a large door that keeps all the contraband. King impatiently runs in and tires to open the door with the knob and his tiny body as Eda commented how cute he is when he is thirsty for power,

"It's not fair for those guys to be locked up for something that isn't even threatening," Gentaro said, then looked at Eda, "Why is it wrong to be an individual?" Before Eda could answer, the door open and King went inside,

She sighed, "Come on, before he hurts himself," But it was too late as King shocked himself by the barrier when he tried to get in. The witch stopped him, "We have a human, remember?"

"Oh!" King said.

Gentaro then walked to the barrier and went inside without trouble. He couldn't believe how many things were piled up like a tower. His eyes were set on a crown shaped object and began to climb up but his hand felt something strange and turned his attention to a briefcase that had an image of a rocket shape symbol with orange eyes on the front. He unknowingly pulls it out and opens it to reveal a clear blue driver and 39 switches in total, "Huh? This is strange. It looks like it never belongs here in this world." Then a note fell out, he picked it up and began to read it.

To the one who find this device,

We studied the possibilities of the existence of other worlds and in our curiosity and greed for knowledge have been placed in this dystopia like island. We have many regrets, but none are bigger then abandoning our child for our foolish pursuit of discovery. We hope that this driver is put in the right hands to explore the cosmos and be able to protect others.

"Kisaragi?" Gentaro said and quickly closed the case and strapped it to his back before resuming to climb up where he saw the crown, "Is that?"

In his hands is a paper crown from a fast food restaurant. King took it back happily and said that his powers are slowly coming back. Gentaro find it a bit adorable but still annoyed, "That doesn't have any power at all,"

Eda then said, "I know but me and King have only each other and we don't have much. So if that dumb crown is important to him then it's important to me," she smiled before looking at the human, "Besides, why would it be a crime for having something special to him?"The human boy smiled back, "Well we owe you one, so-" Then her head was cut off by the warden and landed in his arms,

"Holy shit!"

"OW!" Eda yelled, "I hate that when that happens," then Gentaro screams,

"Eda! Are you okay?" he asked,

"Yeah, it happens when you get older,"

"Really?"

"I have finally caught you, Eda the Owl Lady. You easily escaped my guards but if I took your pet's toy, I would easily capture you," he said as he took King's crown and crushes it,

"NO!: King cried before getting on his knees, "My power…"

Gentaro glared at the man then Eda spoke to the warden, "What do you want from me? I didn't break any of your stupid laws… in front of you,"

"I want you to…" he stepped forward and kneels to her with a bouquet of flowers in hand, "Go out with me,"

"What?"

"Eh?"

While his subordinates cheered him on, Warden Wrath continued, "You always eluded our capture, the one who always got away. I find that alluring,"

"I hate every word you say and I am not sure she is into bullies," Gentaro said in disgust,

"You stay out of this!" Wrath said as he restrained the boy with his tentacle hand, then he grabbed the bodiless witch by the hair, "How about it? We be the strongest power couple in the Boiling Isle! I mean, you don't have much of a choice,"

Eda think about, "Let me think about it," then she blow raspberry at the warden who dropped Gentaro to wipe his mask clean while she laugh at him,

"Impudent wrench… Do you know how many germs are in your mouth?" he said,

"Oh please, you and your men have stalked me and then you cut off my head. I am not going out with you!"

"Then you leave with no choice-" He said before he was kicked in the head by Gentaro, knocking him out for a bit.

"Nice kick, kid," Eda said while the kid was picking her head off the ground. Her headless body pulled down the hoods of the guards to let go of King. Soon they get on the staff and fly off with the warden following them in pursuit. While they are escaping, Gentaro quickly pulls the levers near the jail cells of the prisoners he met, freeing them. Soon they touch ground, Eda handed Gentaro her key, "Okay kid, a deal is a deal. Now get out of here while you still can,"

"But what about you?" he said while seeing that Wrath is coming close,

"I'll be fine, just go!" she yelled while using her staff to send Gentaro away.

Up in the gray sky, he can see the fight ensues and find it impressive that Eda is holding it on by herself, guessing she is the most powerful witch on the Isle. Then he sees the prisoners just watching the fight, he quickly goes to them, "Hey, what are you guys doing? This is your chance to escape,"

"But the warden always capture us in the end,"

"It's best stay where we belong,"

"Self doubt is a prison you can never escape,"

The teenager sighed and stood his ground, "You guys have done nothing wrong as far I am concerned, what you do that makes you happy shouldn't be a crime!" he shouted, "As far as I am concerned, Warden Wrath is a bully and this is my job to protect my buddies!" He opens the case that he had strapped on his back and straps the driver to his waist,

"What are you doing?"

"Becoming a hero that will protect your smiles!" He then inserts the first four switches into the driver.

ROCKET - LAUNCHER - DRILL - RADAR

Then he flipped the switch on each of them then started the countdown.

3… 2… 1…

"Henshin!" He then pushed the lever and transformed into a hero in white with a rocket shaped head, he crouches down and jumps up and screamed, "Uchhuuu Kiiiittta!"

This got the attention of Warden Wrath and Eda, "Who are you?" the warden asked,

"I am Kamen Rider Fourze, and I will fight you one on one!" The rider charges towards the figure who turned his hand into a blade, but Fourze dodges and uppercuts him while pressing on one of the switches.

LAUNCHER ON

A blue launcher appeared on his right leg and the boy sent out projectiles towards the enemy, knocking him back. He quickly turns it off and turns on the Rocket switch.

ROCKET ON

Fourze's right arm turned into a orange rocket and flies towards him, sending both of them towards the sky,

"How does a mere human like yourself know anything about this!?" the warden asked,

"Because I am a Kamen Rider!" Fourze yelled, then pushed the lever again.

-LIMIT BREAK-

He descended towards the ground with the warden in front of the rocket, "Rider Rocket Punch!" He smashed the warden into the ground, creating a crater and knocking him out for good. He undid his transformation and looked at the prisoners, "I'm sure he gets the message now," he chuckled and went to them, "From here on out, we are buddies for life!" He then gave them a handshake that made them feel happy.

Back at The Owl House

"Well kid, you were a great help. Especially with that device there," She activated the key to have the door appear, "Well good luck back in your world,"

Gentaro steps towards the door but turns around and kneels to King, "Hey, you don't need a crown to be a King. You're a strong little guy," he smiled upon the demon,

King scoffs but gave the boy a hug, "Thank you,"

Eda walked towards him, "Don't forget this," she gave Gentaro back his manga. Then the boy started to look sad as he looked at the door and at the two. He wants to go home but today feels special for him,

"You know after a whole day that ended in a prison riot," he said, "I never felt this happy in a while." This shocks the two,

"Kid, what are you saying?"

"Maybe I want to stay here and help around," Gentaro said, "Maybe I'll become a mage like you,"

Eda laughed, "A human can't be a witch, it never happened,"

"Well then, I'll be the first," He said then raised his fist, "And I'll make sure to make like a hundred friends along the way!"

The witch scoff a bit, "I have a feeling that your optimism is going to annoy the hell outta me, but I sure do need help to keep the goofball out of the cupboard," she grinned at the human boy, "Alright in exchange for help around the house and at work, I'll let your stay here and teach you magic. Deal?"

"Deal." He gave Eda his signature handshake.

Later that evening, Gentaro is getting ready for bed as he places his sleeping bag on the floor and places a few pictures next to his pillow. One of him at a very young age with his parents, whose faces are covered by the glare of the glass. The other picture is recent of him and his grandfather, "Gramps, I hope you are watching over me with grandma." He then turned to the other picture, "Mom, dad, I finally found a clue where you are now," he said, "At least your work is with me…" he started to tear up a bit, "I wish I knew where you are or if you both truly are dead. I promise to make you proud,"

Then King walks in with a plush rabbit in his arms, "Your sleep cocoon looks comfy…" he said, then the boy patted the sleep bag to let King sleep next to him. Soon the little creature curl up and sleeps near the boy's feet. While he stares at the ceiling,

'This is going to be fun.'

YOUTH WITH ABOMINATION

Okay, this got my attention when I was writing chapter 2 of my react fic. I decided why not and tried to make this an interesting story based around the idea of Gentaro not having any family as his grandfather have passed and included a mystery of his parents. I hope you guys enjoy it.
