Chapter 3

Timeskip- 3 years

Ria has been staying in Tanzaku Gai for the last few years and started her training as a shinobi thanks to Kurama. She has learned the substitution, henge and solid henge, and lastly she had become very adept at stealth as Kurama taught her how to pickpocket.

Its was early morning in Tanzaku Gai as Ria got out of bed in her recently acquired apartment. It wasnt too good but definitely better than her room in Konoha. The apartment was a two bed, two bath with a kitchen and small living room. The walls were mostly white except for a grey blue wall in the living room. The kitchen was definitely made for Ria with white marble counters and dark red cabinets, and nice appliances.

Currently Ria had showered and was currently shoving her breakfast that consisted of eggs and bacon onto a plate with some music on her speaker when a knock was heard at her door.

"Coming!" She yelled as she opened the door and saw two people with black cloaks that had red clouds on them. The first man had sleek jet black hair and charcoal eyes with very pronounced tearducts on his nose. The other man looked like a shark with light blue skin, spiked navy hair, yellow eyes and gills on his cheeks. On his back was a massive sword covered in bandages.

"Umm... i payed my rent already?" Ria said but it sounded more like a question which caused the shark man to laugh. "We arent here for your rent Ria Namikaze." The shark said as Ria went stiff.

"Well then why are you here?" She asked as she took a step back incase the two tried to tske her back to Konoha. "Relax Ria-chan." The black haired one said in a monotone voice. "We just want to talk, maybwe come in?" He asked and she nodded hesitantly as she guided them to the livingroom.

"Im sorry about not having normal greetings like tea or food but you cane as soon as i finished cooking." She said as she grabbed her plate of food and took a seat on the couch opposite of the two men. "So yiu obviously know me." Ria said as the two nodded. "So may i know your names?" She asked as the black haired one spoke.

"Im Itachi Uchiha and this is Kisame Hoshigake." He said as Ria's chest tightened and she got back in a defensive posture. "We work for an organization called Akatsuki and we are wondering if you would be willing to join." Itachi asked and Ria froze for a second like she was having an internal conversation and unbeknownst to the two, she was.

"What should i do!" Ria screamed to her tenet as he rubbed is forehead with a paw. "Ask them what you get out of it and why you." Kurama said as Ria left the mindscape.

"Whats in it for me?" She asked and Itachi looked at her like he was pleasently suprised. "We would train you and in return you will help us create peace." Itachi said making Ria think for a little while until she saw Itachi's expression break slightly at the word peace.

"What type of peace and how would we do it?" Ria asked as Itachi smiled. "Im glad to see you aren't naive. Our organization is full of evil but also outcasts who have relized their mistakes. We will become the evil that unites the world against us and when we die, the world will be at peace." Itachi spoke as Ria's eyes narrowed. "How do we become this evil?" She asked. "We will start a war over the biju." Itachi said simply.

"So what? Youre going to take the biju, use them as weapons and devlare war on all the nations, kill thousands, and then its over and there's peace?" She asked Itachi nodded and Kisame finally spoke up. "So what ya say sugar, you in?" He asked and you nodded. "Whats the worst that happens?" She said and her voice was laced with sarcasm.

"Then pack up, we will take you back to our base and you will be trained, assigned a partner, and then sent on missions." Itachi said making Ria nod as she stood from the couch, her breakfast now finished and began packing the little things she owned such as her jutsu scrolls and some clothes before she met Kisame and Itachi at the front of the complex.

"You ready?" Itachi asked as Ria nodded and the three began their treck towards Ame where Ria would start her training.

Timeskip- 1 week

Its taken a little over a week for the group of three to reach Ame due to the border patrols of Konoha and the many stops they had to make due to Ria not being anle to keep up with the S ranked missing nin.

"Here we are, your new home." Itachi said as he guided Ria into the large metal tower. The walls of the tower were made of smooth metal plates and concrete floors and suffice to say, it looked like Ria thought it would due to the exterior.

"It gets better when we get higher up." Itachi says as the froup of three enter the elevator and Itachi presses the (7) on the keypad and the elevator started moving upwards.

When Ria stepped out of the elevator the room was definitely much different then she was expecting. The walls were a nice white with wooden floors and many couches and chairs were scattered around the room. In the far end there was a large kitchen with wooden cabnits and a stone countertop.

After Ria had finished admiring the main room of the base Itachi led her into a hallway that connected to the main lounge. "The rooms are down this hall." He said Ria followed him farther and into a room in the center of the hall. "This is where you will be staying, make sure to lock your door at night." And with that he left.

When Ria opened the door she was shocked by the quality of the room. It still had the white walls and wooden floors, but the bed had sheets and a comforter. In the far corner was a desk and there was a closet next to the bathroom.

After taking in the room Ria dropped her bag onto thr floor by the door and took a seat on the bed before falling asleep without even getting under the covers.

In Konoha

The Namikaze family were eating dinner while sitting at the large dining room table smiling and laughing when questions of the acadamy finals for that year happened.

"So how did you two do?" Kushina asked as Menma and Narumi both grinned. "We were both top of the class." Menma said making his parents smile at the two. "And what about Naru?" Minato asked as he walked back into the kitchen with a new bowl of ramen.

"What about her?" Narumi asked as she cocked her head at her mothers questioning of her oldest child. "How has she done?" Her mother asked and Narumi gave her mother a questioning look. "She hasnt attended a class." Narumi said and was immediately backed up by Menma. "We didnt even know you signed that failure up." He said making Kushina and Minato frown.

"Please dont talk about your sister like that Menma." Minato said and Menma looked at his father. "Why? We've talked about her like that for years, what different now?" He asked. "Because she is still your sister." Minato said shaking his head at his sons choice of words.

"Im going to go see her after dinner." Kushina said as she started to clean up the table and kitchen.

It took about a half hour and it was almost 10 pm when Kushina and Minato knocked on the door of a bedroom and no one came out. "Come on out Naru, we need to talk." Kushina said and still no noise came from thr room. "Naru come out!" Minato yelled but still nothing and both parents gave eachother a worried look before Minato reached out and opened the door only to get hit by a wave of dust.

"When was this last cleaned?" Kushina asked sadly and Minato stayed silent not knowing how to answer his wife. "Naru?" Minato called as the dust settled down and as the two looked around the room guilt rose up in their chests making it hard to speak. Every spot in the room was covered in dust.

While the two walked around the room they stopped at the desk where a scroll was sitting and Minato hesitantly reached out and opened the scroll and started reading what was written.

Dear Family

If you are reading this then ive made my decision to leave from that hateful place i once called home. The abuse i suffered and scars i recieved from the 'perfect and kind' villagers was too much and the neglect from the ones who were supposed to be family hurt.

Knowing you all it will probably be a year or two until you find this but if i know myself ill be living my best life. Just know when i return i wont be there as your daughter but as a shinobi of another nation.

For the next few hours only sobs could be heard from the Namikaze estate as Kushina wailed for her failure to be a good mother and Minato said there wuietly giving his wife the comfort she needed at the moment.

Menma and Narumi had both felt guilt at why their 'sibling' had left but eventually pushed it away without much remorse, and unkown to the family, Ria was sleeping and dreaming of what her training would entail.
