p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;"Author's Note: I wrote a bunch of these chapters when I was in a nursing home for rehab for a injury. So if they are really long and sometimes don't make sense I'm sorry. As I'm typing I'm going over to fix any mistakes and everything but might miss a few or just didn't know how to change it./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Felicity Smoak was only six years old when her and her mother moved to Starling City, they moved there after her father left them. They moved into a one-bedroom apartment which Felicity had the room and Donna slept on the couch. They lived in the Glades the worst part of the city, but it was the only apartment they could afford on Donna's salary. Thankfully Felicity had gotten a scholarship to Starling Prep the best school in the city otherwise without that Felicity would have to go to a school in the Glades and that had a low approval rating. But thankfully Felicity was a literal genius, so Donna didn't need to worry about her grades and everything. The only thing she was worried about was Felicity making friends seeing that she skipped a grade she would be the youngest in her second-grade class. But little did she knew on the first day of Felicity's first day of school she would make a bunch of friends and that they would become best of friends for life. /span/p

You don't want to be late for your first day of school." Felicity opened her door and Donna wasn't surprised to see her up and ready already, she watched as Felicity stepped out of the room and smiled at her "oh baby girl, you look good. You excited for today?" Felicity looked at her "I'm nervous mom its like a month into school and everyone already knows everyone. What if I don't make friends?" Donna looked at her "you will sweetie. Just win them over with your wonderful personality and you will be fine." Felicity nodded as Donna told her it was time to go, she watched as Felicity grabbed her backpack and walk to the door. Once they left the apartment, they walked down the flight of stairs to Donna's car and go in as Donna started the car and started to head towards Starling Prep. Once they got to Starling Prep Donna parked in the visitor's parking lot and walked with Felicity to the school. They got inside and found the principle's office as Donna introduced Felicity to the secretary, as she told them the principle would be right with them. The principle came out of his office a few minutes later and welcomed Donna and Felicity to the school. He told Felicity who her teacher was for the year and what room number she was in as he told her he would show her to the classroom and introduce her to the teacher and class. Donna asked Felicity if she wanted her to come with her as Felicity shook her head and said she would see her after school. Donna nodded and kissed her cheek as she watched her leave the office with the principle. Donna left as well walking back to her car praying that Felicity would make a few friends. /span/p

She walked into his room and pulled the curtains apart as Oliver groaned. She looked at him "Oliver it's time to get up for school. Tommy and driver will be here in twenty minutes." Oliver mumbled fine, as she told him he had ten minutes to get downstairs as she left his room. Oliver rolled out of bed and walked into his bathroom to splash water on his face to wake him up fully. Once he was done in the bathroom he walked back into his room and grabbed his uniform from his closet and got dressed. He walked down stairs seeing his mom and baby sister Thea at the table, as he walked over to the table saying good morning to his mom and Thea as he sat down. Raisa saw him sitting at the table and put him over a plate of pancakes and a glass of orange juice as he thanked her and started to eat. He had just finished eating as the door bell rang as Raisa went and answered it. Once she answered Tommy Merlyn ran into the mansion and went into the dining room and said good morning to everyone. He looked at Oliver and asked if he was ready cause Laurel and Sara were in the car already as Oliver nodded and finished his orange juice. Once he was done he got up and kissed Moira and Thea's cheek good bye as he walked towards the door with Tommy grabbing his backpack from the car on the way out as he and Tommy ran outside to Tommy's car. Once they reached the car the driver opened the door for time and they climbed in to the back seat. Once they were settled Oliver said good morning to Laurel and Sara as they said good morning back to him as the driver started to drive them to school. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Once they got to school, Laurel and Sara got out first followed by Tommy and then Oliver, once they got inside they walked Sara to her second grade class room as Laurel told her they would see her at lunch as they watched her walk into her class room. As they walked by one of the windows of Sara's class Oliver looked in and noticed a new girl in the room. He also noticed that she was younger than the rest of the kids in the room and wondered who she was. Tommy got his attention and told him they needed to get to class. Oliver nodded as he, Tommy, and Laurel went to their fifth grade class. /span/p

When they has little study breaks between classes Sara would tell her about her older sister Laurel and their friends Tommy and Oliver. Sara even invited her to have lunch with them but Felicity told her she would rather eat alone. At lunch Felicity walked into the cafeteria and looked around in awe. It was huge she noticed that the middle and high school kids had lunch with the lower grades. She saw the line for lunch and got on it, she saw the many choices they had but knew she couldn't afford with the money gave her so she just got a simple sandwich and milk. Once she paid she looked for an empty table, as she looked around she saw Sara wave to her. She smiled at Sara and noticed that a bunch of people were sitting with her, she was thinking about joining then but then saw an empty table and walked over to it and sat down started to eat. She knew people where watching her but she didn't care, she liked being by her self. /span/p

She was sitting on a swing when a couple of her classmates and other second graders came over to her. They started to make fun of her, they told her how they knew she lived in the Glades and how Donna had to work two jobs to support them. And the only reason why she got into the school was because she was smart. She started to cry as they continued to make fun of her. What she didn't know was Sara had saw what was going on and went to go get help. The kids had started push Felicity making her go higher then she wanted to as she cried louder asking them to stop but they wouldn't. She grabbed the chains of the swing and closed her eyes hoping she wouldn't fall off. Just when she thought she was going to fall over she felt someone grab the chains above her hands. She opened her eyes and saw Sara and bunch of other kids pushing the bullies away. Once the swing came to a complete stop she watched as Sara ran over to her. Sara looked at her "are you alright?" Felicity nodded as she got off the swing and tried to calm down./span/p

Felicity looked at her "they were making fun of me cause I live in the Glades and that without my scholarship my mom couldn't afford to send me here cause she's working two jobs." Sara nodded and hugged as an older girl who looked like Sara looked at Felicity "don't worry they won't be bothering you again and if they do we will take care of them." Felicity look at Sara confused as Sara laughed a little "oh sorry introductions. Felicity that's my sister Laurel, the guy next to her is Tommy Merlyn and next to him is Oliver Queen they are in the fifth grade. And the guy who stopped the swing is John Diggle he's in eighth grade. He helped Tommy and Oliver one day and they became friends." Felicity nodded as she looked at everyone and thanked them. Sara looked at the group "guys this is Felicity Smoak. She's supposed to be in first grade but she's really smart and skipped a grade so she's in my class. She's shy but nice once she gets to know someone." Laurel looked at her "why don't you come over to Oliver's with us after school so we can get to know you better. We usually do homework then watch a movie. My and Sara's dad can take you home when he picks us up. He's a police officer so he'll make sure you get home safe. What do you say?" Felicity looked at her "I don't know I would have to call my mom and ask if it was alright." Laurel nodded as Oliver looked at her "I can take you to the office before class starts. My parents give the school money, so they won't say no with me with you." Felicity nodded as Oliver said they should go there now as she followed the group inside and walked towards the office. /span/p

Felicity asked the secretary if she could use the phone to call her mom. The secretary nodded and turned the phone to Felicity so she could call Donna. Once Felicity dialed Donna's work number she asked someone if she could talk to Donna as they told her to hold on while they got her. Once Donna got on the phone Felicity asked her if she could go to a friends house after school and that one of her new friend's father would drive her home when he got his daughters. Donna told her of course it was alright and that she hoped she had fun with them and she would see her later. Felicity thanked her before hanging up and then thanked the secretary for letting her use the phone. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"As Felicity talked to her mom Oliver watched her secretly hoping that her mom would say yes because he wanted to know more about her. Once she got off the phone he looked at her "so what did she say?" Felicity looked at him and smiled "she said yes." Oliver nodded and noticed that this was the first time he saw her smile and that he would do anything to see her keep smiling. They left the office and saw the others still waiting for them. Felicity looked at them and smiled as she told them that her mom said yes. They said awesome as they walked her and Sara back to their classroom and said they would see them after school. /span/p

They saw some of the kids that bullied Felicity as she looked down and Sara just glared at them. Sara asked the teacher if she could sit next to Felicity after she explained what happened at recess. The teacher agreed as Sara walked over to the empty sit next to Felicity and sat down. Felicity looked at her as Sara smiled "I'm your bodyguard. No one will mess with you with me around." Felicity nodded as the class started. She listened to the teacher and wrote down everything she wrote on the board or said so she wouldn't miss anything. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Once school was over Felicity and Sara were the last ones out of the classroom. They saw Laurel, Tommy, Oliver and John waiting for them. Tommy looked at Felicity "ready to go to the castle?" Felicity looked at Tommy "castle?" Oliver looked at her "its's not a castle." Felicity nodded as she followed everyone outside. Once they got outside, she saw a limo waiting as everyone started to get in. Felicity paused and looked at Sara "this is our ride?" Sara nodded a grabbed her hand and pulled her into the limo with her. Felicity looked around the limo as she listened to everyone talk and then decided to look out the window as they drove on the highway. She saw they were getting into the nicer part of the city and then into the more rural area. She saw the biggest house she ever saw as she started to wonder if Oliver's house was just as big or bigger cause Tommy called it a castle. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Her question got answered a few minutes later as the limo pulled up a long-graveled driveway. Her eyes went wide seeing the Queen Mansion. Sara laughed at her expression as she looked at her "yeah I should have mentioned Ollie and Tommy are rich." Once the limo stopped by the front door Felicity noticed a maid as Sara looked at her "that's Raisa, she's really cool."span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanFelicity nodded and got out with everyone. Raisa greeted everyone and noticed Felicity as she looked at Oliver "new friend Mr. Oliver?" Oliver nodded "her name is Felicity she just started school today." Raisa nodded "welcome Ms. Felicity." Felicity smiled and said thank you as she followed everyone inside. Once inside Felicity opened her mouth seeing how big the mansion was, she looked at everyone as they laughed a little at her expression. Laurel looked at her "you'll get used to it." Felicity nodded as Raisa led them to the dinning room to do their homework. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Once they got to the dining room, they were greeted by a well dressed woman who was holding a little girl. Felicity watched Oliver walk over to her and give her a hug as he said, "hi mom." His mom looked at him "aren't you going to introduce me to your new friend?" Oliver nodded "mom, this is Felicity Smoak, she just started school today. She's in Saras' grade." Moira nodded as she looked at Felicity "it's nice to meet you, Felicity. I'm Moira and this little lady is Thea." Felicity nodded as she looked Moira "it's nice to meet you Mrs. Queen. You got a beautiful home." Moira nodded as she looked and told everyone to do their homework. They nodded and sat at the table and started pulling out their books as Felicity sat next to Sara just in case, she need help with her homework. /span/p

Sara looked at her "no but we take a few breaks, so we don't get tried." Felicity nodded as they took her on a tour of the mansion. Once the tour was done, they went back to doing their homework taking a few more breaks. Once they were done with their homework, they went to the movie room and picked a movie and just sat watching eating popcorn, snacks and soda. /span/p

Johns came first and then Tommy's. Laurel and Saras' dad came last as Laurel asked him if they could take Felicity home. He said of course as Felicity, Sara and Laurel said goodbye to Oliver and walked out to Quentin's car. Once they got into the car Felicity told him what part of the Glades to go too. Once they got to her apartment building Quentin told Felicity he would walk her up to her apartment to make sure that she got there safe and that her mom was home. span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanFelicity as she got out of the car and said goodnight to Laurel and Sara as she and Quentin walked towards the front door. Once they were inside they walked up the flight of stairs to her floor as she led him to the end of the hallway and knocked on the door. Donna answered the door seeing Felicity with a man as he introduced himself as Quentin Lance and that Felicity was his two daughters' new friends and that he was a police officer and just wanted to make sure Felicity got to the apartment alright. Donna nodded and thanked him as Felicity did the same thing and walked into the apartment. Quentin told Donna when ever Felicity was at the Queen's he would drive her home seeing that he had to pick up Laurel and Sara anyway. Donna thanked him as he said good night to both Smoak women and left. /span/p

But once again you prove me wrong." Felicity looked at her mom and smiled "I'm glad I did too. And I would still like to go to Oliver's after school if that's ok with you." Donna looked at her and smiled "Of course you can sweetie." Felicity hugged her mother and thanked you and said good night. Donna smiled watched as Felicity practically skipped to her bedroom. /span/p

She found out she enjoyed being with everyone she was always by herself when she lived in Vegas because kids even at a young age made fun of her for being smart. But not John, Oliver, Tommy, Laurel and Sara, they accepted her for who she was, and she was thankful for that. /span/p

They would go to Queen mansion and then Quentin would drive her home and walk her to her apartment. But one night he couldn't take her so Moira said that she and a driver would take her home. Oliver has asked Moira if he could come along cause he wanted to make sure she got home safe as Moira nodded. His father was on a business trip so Moira asked Raisa to watched Thea as they took Felicity home. Once they got into the car Felicity gave the driver directions to her apartment. Once they reached the apartment building Oliver looked at Felicity with wide eyes "this is where you live?" Moira looked at Oliver "Oliver!" Oliver looked at Moira and the Felicity "I just meant is it safe?" Felicity looked at him and Moira "it is safe. It's the only place we could afford so the scholarship helps out a lot." Moira looked at her "you don't have to explain Felicity. Are you ready to go upstairs sweetie?" Felicity nodded as she and Oliver both said good night to each other as she got out of the with Moira. Moira held her hand as they walked into the building and up the stairs to her apartment. Donna was shocked to see Felicity with a women instead of Quentin but Moira introduced herself. They talked for a few minutes with Donna expecting Moira's' invitation to stop by the mansion for dinner over of the weekend. Once Moira left, Felicity said good night to Donna and went to room and climbed into her bed falling asleep. /span/p

When she walked out of the women Donna looked at her and smiled "oh sweetie you look adorable." Felicity smiled and nodded as they walked out of the apartment and down to Donna's car. Once they got into the car Felicity gave Donna the directions to Queen mansion. It took about a half hour to get there and once they pulled the driveway and turned off the car Donna looked at the house and then Felicity "wow." Felicity laughed "wait till you see the inside." Donna nodded as they saw the open and a woman step out onto the porch. Felicity looked at Donna "that's Raisa we should get and go up there." Donna nodded as they out of the car and started to walk to the porch. /span/p

Raisa looked at Donna "you must be Ms. Smoak. Please come in, Mrs. Queen and Mr. Oliver are waiting, and Mr. Queen is back home so he will be joining you as well." Donna and Felicity nodded as they followed behind Raisa, once they where inside Donna looked around in awe as Felicity laughed a little at her. Once they got to the dining room they were greeted by Moira and got introduced to Robert as both Smoak women said hello to him. Oliver looked at Felicity and told her to sit next to him as Moira told Donna to sit next to her. Once they were seated Oliver leaned over and whispered in Felicity's ear "you look really pretty Felicity and green is my favorite color." Felicity blushed a little as told him thank you. The other maids brought out the food as everyone start to eat. Dinner was a mixture of eating and talking. Once everyone was done eating Robert said he had some work to get caught up on because of his trip as he excused his self and went to his home office. Moira asked Donna if they could stay for a little bit as Donna said of course. Moira told Oliver to take Felicity up to his room to play a game while her and Donna talked. Oliver nodded as he and Felicity got up, she followed him up to his room as Donna and Moira went into the living room and sat on the couch to talk. /span/p

He looked at Felicity "why don't we talk and get to know each other a little better." Felicity nodded as they started to talk and got to know each other better. /span/p

Felicity nodded and up from the couch as Oliver got up as well. The four of them walked to the front door as Oliver opened it for Donna and Felicity. They said good night and thanked them for a wonderful night. Donna and Felicity walked to the car and got in as Donna started it and started to go down the driver as they waved to Moira and Oliver. Once they got onto the main road Donna looked quickly over at Felicity before looking back the road "I'm glad your friends with Oliver, Moira is very nice." Felicity nodded "she is and I'm glad friends with Oliver as well. But I'm also glad that I'm friends with Sara, John, Laurel and Tommy, they are nice too and I hope you meet them one day soon." Donna nodded as she continued to drive to the Glades. Once they reached the building she parked and they made their way up the flight of stairs to their floor. They walked to the end of the hallway to their apartment as Donna opened the door. Once they got inside they hugged each other and said good night as Felicity went to her room. She couldn't believe that her life changed on the first day of school but what she didn't know was it was going to change more. /span/p

She walked into his room and pulled the curtains apart as Oliver groaned. She looked at him "Oliver it's time to get up for school. Tommy and driver will be here in twenty minutes." Oliver mumbled fine, as she told him he had ten minutes to get downstairs as she left his room. Oliver rolled out of bed and walked into his bathroom to splash water on his face to wake him up fully. Once he was done in the bathroom he walked back into his room and grabbed his uniform from his closet and got dressed. He walked down stairs seeing his mom and baby sister Thea at the table, as he walked over to the table saying good morning to his mom and Thea as he sat down. Raisa saw him sitting at the table and put him over a plate of pancakes and a glass of orange juice as he thanked her and started to eat. He had just finished eating as the door bell rang as Raisa went and answered it. Once she answered Tommy Merlyn ran into the mansion and went into the dining room and said good morning to everyone. He looked at Oliver and asked if he was ready cause Laurel and Sara were in the car already as Oliver nodded and finished his orange juice. Once he was done he got up and kissed Moira and Thea's cheek good bye as he walked towards the door with Tommy grabbing his backpack from the car on the way out as he and Tommy ran outside to Tommy's car. Once they reached the car the driver opened the door for time and they climbed in to the back seat. Once they were settled Oliver said good morning to Laurel and Sara as they said good morning back to him as the driver started to drive them to school. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Once they got to school, Laurel and Sara got out first followed by Tommy and then Oliver, once they got inside they walked Sara to her second grade class room as Laurel told her they would see her at lunch as they watched her walk into her class room. As they walked by one of the windows of Sara's class Oliver looked in and noticed a new girl in the room. He also noticed that she was younger than the rest of the kids in the room and wondered who she was. Tommy got his attention and told him they needed to get to class. Oliver nodded as he, Tommy, and Laurel went to their fifth grade class. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"By lunch time Felicity had made one new friend in Sara Lance, Felicity thought she was really cool. When they has little study breaks between classes Sara would tell her about her older sister Laurel and their friends Tommy and Oliver. Sara even invited her to have lunch with them but Felicity told her she would rather eat alone. At lunch Felicity walked into the cafeteria and looked around in awe. It was huge she noticed that the middle and high school kids had lunch with the lower grades. She saw the line for lunch and got on it, she saw the many choices they had but knew she couldn't afford with the money gave her so she just got a simple sandwich and milk. Once she paid she looked for an empty table, as she looked around she saw Sara wave to her. She smiled at Sara and noticed that a bunch of people were sitting with her, she was thinking about joining then but then saw an empty table and walked over to it and sat down started to eat. She knew people where watching her but she didn't care, she liked being by her self. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Once she was done with lunch it was time for recess and that's when she ran into trouble. She was sitting on a swing when a couple of her classmates and other second graders came over to her. They started to make fun of her, they told her how they knew she lived in the Glades and how Donna had to work two jobs to support them. And the only reason why she got into the school was because she was smart. She started to cry as they continued to make fun of her. What she didn't know was Sara had saw what was going on and went to go get help. The kids had started push Felicity making her go higher then she wanted to as she cried louder asking them to stop but they wouldn't. She grabbed the chains of the swing and closed her eyes hoping she wouldn't fall off. Just when she thought she was going to fall over she felt someone grab the chains above her hands. She opened her eyes and saw Sara and bunch of other kids pushing the bullies away. Once the swing came to a complete stop she watched as Sara ran over to her. Sara looked at her "are you alright?" Felicity nodded as she got off the swing and tried to calm down./span/p

Felicity looked at her "they were making fun of me cause I live in the Glades and that without my scholarship my mom couldn't afford to send me here cause she's working two jobs." Sara nodded and hugged as an older girl who looked like Sara looked at Felicity "don't worry they won't be bothering you again and if they do we will take care of them." Felicity look at Sara confused as Sara laughed a little "oh sorry introductions. Felicity that's my sister Laurel, the guy next to her is Tommy Merlyn and next to him is Oliver Queen they are in the fifth grade. And the guy who stopped the swing is John Diggle he's in eighth grade. He helped Tommy and Oliver one day and they became friends." Felicity nodded as she looked at everyone and thanked them. Sara looked at the group "guys this is Felicity Smoak. She's supposed to be in first grade but she's really smart and skipped a grade so she's in my class. She's shy but nice once she gets to know someone." Laurel looked at her "why don't you come over to Oliver's with us after school so we can get to know you better. We usually do homework then watch a movie. My and Sara's dad can take you home when he picks us up. He's a police officer so he'll make sure you get home safe. What do you say?" Felicity looked at her "I don't know I would have to call my mom and ask if it was alright." Laurel nodded as Oliver looked at her "I can take you to the office before class starts. My parents give the school money, so they won't say no with me with you." Felicity nodded as Oliver said they should go there now as she followed the group inside and walked towards the office. /span/p

Felicity asked the secretary if she could use the phone to call her mom. The secretary nodded and turned the phone to Felicity so she could call Donna. Once Felicity dialed Donna's work number she asked someone if she could talk to Donna as they told her to hold on while they got her. Once Donna got on the phone Felicity asked her if she could go to a friends house after school and that one of her new friend's father would drive her home when he got his daughters. Donna told her of course it was alright and that she hoped she had fun with them and she would see her later. Felicity thanked her before hanging up and then thanked the secretary for letting her use the phone. /span/p

Once she got off the phone he looked at her "so what did she say?" Felicity looked at him and smiled "she said yes." Oliver nodded and noticed that this was the first time he saw her smile and that he would do anything to see her keep smiling. They left the office and saw the others still waiting for them. Felicity looked at them and smiled as she told them that her mom said yes. They said awesome as they walked her and Sara back to their classroom and said they would see them after school. /span/p

They saw some of the kids that bullied Felicity as she looked down and Sara just glared at them. Sara asked the teacher if she could sit next to Felicity after she explained what happened at recess. The teacher agreed as Sara walked over to the empty sit next to Felicity and sat down. Felicity looked at her as Sara smiled "I'm your bodyguard. No one will mess with you with me around." Felicity nodded as the class started. She listened to the teacher and wrote down everything she wrote on the board or said so she wouldn't miss anything. /span/p

They saw Laurel, Tommy, Oliver and John waiting for them. Tommy looked at Felicity "ready to go to the castle?" Felicity looked at Tommy "castle?" Oliver looked at her "its's not a castle." Felicity nodded as she followed everyone outside. Once they got outside, she saw a limo waiting as everyone started to get in. Felicity paused and looked at Sara "this is our ride?" Sara nodded a grabbed her hand and pulled her into the limo with her. Felicity looked around the limo as she listened to everyone talk and then decided to look out the window as they drove on the highway. She saw they were getting into the nicer part of the city and then into the more rural area. She saw the biggest house she ever saw as she started to wonder if Oliver's house was just as big or bigger cause Tommy called it a castle. /span/p

Her eyes went wide seeing the Queen Mansion. Sara laughed at her expression as she looked at her "yeah I should have mentioned Ollie and Tommy are rich." Once the limo stopped by the front door Felicity noticed a maid as Sara looked at her "that's Raisa, she's really cool."span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanFelicity nodded and got out with everyone. Raisa greeted everyone and noticed Felicity as she looked at Oliver "new friend Mr. Oliver?" Oliver nodded "her name is Felicity she just started school today." Raisa nodded "welcome Ms. Felicity." Felicity smiled and said thank you as she followed everyone inside. Once inside Felicity opened her mouth seeing how big the mansion was, she looked at everyone as they laughed a little at her expression. Laurel looked at her "you'll get used to it." Felicity nodded as Raisa led them to the dinning room to do their homework. /span/p

Felicity watched Oliver walk over to her and give her a hug as he said, "hi mom." His mom looked at him "aren't you going to introduce me to your new friend?" Oliver nodded "mom, this is Felicity Smoak, she just started school today. She's in Saras' grade." Moira nodded as she looked at Felicity "it's nice to meet you, Felicity. I'm Moira and this little lady is Thea." Felicity nodded as she looked Moira "it's nice to meet you Mrs. Queen. You got a beautiful home." Moira nodded as she looked and told everyone to do their homework. They nodded and sat at the table and started pulling out their books as Felicity sat next to Sara just in case, she need help with her homework. /span/p

Sara looked at her "no but we take a few breaks, so we don't get tried." Felicity nodded as they took her on a tour of the mansion. Once the tour was done, they went back to doing their homework taking a few more breaks. Once they were done with their homework, they went to the movie room and picked a movie and just sat watching eating popcorn, snacks and soda. /span/p

Johns came first and then Tommy's. Laurel and Saras' dad came last as Laurel asked him if they could take Felicity home. He said of course as Felicity, Sara and Laurel said goodbye to Oliver and walked out to Quentin's car. Once they got into the car Felicity told him what part of the Glades to go too. Once they got to her apartment building Quentin told Felicity he would walk her up to her apartment to make sure that she got there safe and that her mom was home. span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanFelicity as she got out of the car and said goodnight to Laurel and Sara as she and Quentin walked towards the front door. Once they were inside they walked up the flight of stairs to her floor as she led him to the end of the hallway and knocked on the door. Donna answered the door seeing Felicity with a man as he introduced himself as Quentin Lance and that Felicity was his two daughters' new friends and that he was a police officer and just wanted to make sure Felicity got to the apartment alright. Donna nodded and thanked him as Felicity did the same thing and walked into the apartment. Quentin told Donna when ever Felicity was at the Queen's he would drive her home seeing that he had to pick up Laurel and Sara anyway. Donna thanked him as he said good night to both Smoak women and left. /span/p

Felicity looked at Donna and nodded "yeah mom I did they are really nice." Donna smiled and nodded "I'm so happy you made friends. I was worried you wouldn't especially being the new girl. But once again you prove me wrong." Felicity looked at her mom and smiled "I'm glad I did too. And I would still like to go to Oliver's after school if that's ok with you." Donna looked at her and smiled "Of course you can sweetie." Felicity hugged her mother and thanked you and said good night. Donna smiled watched as Felicity practically skipped to her bedroom. /span/p

She found out she enjoyed being with everyone she was always by herself when she lived in Vegas because kids even at a young age made fun of her for being smart. But not John, Oliver, Tommy, Laurel and Sara, they accepted her for who she was, and she was thankful for that. /span/p

They would go to Queen mansion and then Quentin would drive her home and walk her to her apartment. But one night he couldn't take her so Moira said that she and a driver would take her home. Oliver has asked Moira if he could come along cause he wanted to make sure she got home safe as Moira nodded. His father was on a business trip so Moira asked Raisa to watched Thea as they took Felicity home. Once they got into the car Felicity gave the driver directions to her apartment. Once they reached the apartment building Oliver looked at Felicity with wide eyes "this is where you live?" Moira looked at Oliver "Oliver!" Oliver looked at Moira and the Felicity "I just meant is it safe?" Felicity looked at him and Moira "it is safe. It's the only place we could afford so the scholarship helps out a lot." Moira looked at her "you don't have to explain Felicity. Are you ready to go upstairs sweetie?" Felicity nodded as she and Oliver both said good night to each other as she got out of the with Moira. Moira held her hand as they walked into the building and up the stairs to her apartment. Donna was shocked to see Felicity with a women instead of Quentin but Moira introduced herself. They talked for a few minutes with Donna expecting Moira's' invitation to stop by the mansion for dinner over of the weekend. Once Moira left, Felicity said good night to Donna and went to room and climbed into her bed falling asleep. /span/p

Donna told Felicity to wear one of her nice outfits that she had, she nodded and said ok. Felicity had chosen a green dress and left her black hear down. When she walked out of the women Donna looked at her and smiled "oh sweetie you look adorable." Felicity smiled and nodded as they walked out of the apartment and down to Donna's car. Once they got into the car Felicity gave Donna the directions to Queen mansion. It took about a half hour to get there and once they pulled the driveway and turned off the car Donna looked at the house and then Felicity "wow." Felicity laughed "wait till you see the inside." Donna nodded as they saw the open and a woman step out onto the porch. Felicity looked at Donna "that's Raisa we should get and go up there." Donna nodded as they out of the car and started to walk to the porch. /span/p

Raisa looked at Donna "you must be Ms. Smoak. Please come in, Mrs. Queen and Mr. Oliver are waiting, and Mr. Queen is back home so he will be joining you as well." Donna and Felicity nodded as they followed behind Raisa, once they where inside Donna looked around in awe as Felicity laughed a little at her. Once they got to the dining room they were greeted by Moira and got introduced to Robert as both Smoak women said hello to him. Oliver looked at Felicity and told her to sit next to him as Moira told Donna to sit next to her. Once they were seated Oliver leaned over and whispered in Felicity's ear "you look really pretty Felicity and green is my favorite color." Felicity blushed a little as told him thank you. The other maids brought out the food as everyone start to eat. Dinner was a mixture of eating and talking. Once everyone was done eating Robert said he had some work to get caught up on because of his trip as he excused his self and went to his home office. Moira asked Donna if they could stay for a little bit as Donna said of course. Moira told Oliver to take Felicity up to his room to play a game while her and Donna talked. Oliver nodded as he and Felicity got up, she followed him up to his room as Donna and Moira went into the living room and sat on the couch to talk. /span/p

After about a half hour of playing Oliver got bored and turned off the game and pushed his self onto the couch and sat next to Felicity. He looked at Felicity "why don't we talk and get to know each other a little better." Felicity nodded as they started to talk and got to know each other better. /span/p

Felicity nodded and up from the couch as Oliver got up as well. The four of them walked to the front door as Oliver opened it for Donna and Felicity. They said good night and thanked them for a wonderful night. Donna and Felicity walked to the car and got in as Donna started it and started to go down the driver as they waved to Moira and Oliver. Once they got onto the main road Donna looked quickly over at Felicity before looking back the road "I'm glad your friends with Oliver, Moira is very nice." Felicity nodded "she is and I'm glad friends with Oliver as well. But I'm also glad that I'm friends with Sara, John, Laurel and Tommy, they are nice too and I hope you meet them one day soon." Donna nodded as she continued to drive to the Glades. Once they reached the building she parked and they made their way up the flight of stairs to their floor. They walked to the end of the hallway to their apartment as Donna opened the door. Once they got inside they hugged each other and said good night as Felicity went to her room. She couldn't believe that her life changed on the first day of school but what she didn't know was it was going to change more. /span/p

But none of them knew their lives were going to change once they hit high school with feelings and relationships. John had graduated high school while Oliver, Tommy and Laurel were freshmen. By the time Sara and Felicity were freshmen that was when everything changed. /span/p
