Recovery Girl was old and tired. She was old, yes, that came as a joy to her- to have lived such a long and wonderful life helping students and she refused to retire, but true, she was also tired… tired of dealing with the two students in front of her. It was the third fight that Katsuki and Izuku had dealt that was bad enough it required her attention. She leaned on her cane and frowned. Deep wrinkles creased her usually cheery face.
"Who threw the first punch, my children?" She asked, staring evenly between the boys. She turned her attention to Midoriya, whom was glancing at Bakugo and sighed. "Yes, yes. Midoriya first then, crime never pays." She muttered to herself. Izuku raised an eyebrow in question to her muttering but that hurt his eye too much. Damn. Kacchan nailed him. "It has been in my pocket, so it is a bit warm, but here is a sweet. Suck on it and that should help the pain. But be warned, I will not be tending to the bruising- you can live with that busted up face of yours."
Midoriya gratefully accepted the lozenge and twisted the hard taffy out of the wrapper before he popped it into his mouth. Pain seeped from his bones and drained out his toes, practically. He felt better and tested it out by poking his nose and left eye.
Bakugo however, was receiving the "crime never pays" treatment, which was being verbally berated and smacked with a rolled-up magazine for his "breathy comments" on how "Midoriya looked better covered in his own blood," before she gave him an injection in the thigh and kicked him out.
All Might came to pick the boys up. "Young gentlemen- to hear that you are fighting again- it's such a shame."
Katsuki's phone went off and he ignored All Might.
"Yeah, I got a shot." Bakugo growled on the phone with Kirishima, whom had called to complain that he and Kaminari were on dorm arrest for a week.
"I got candy!" Midoriya explained to All Might.
"Very good." All Might said, delighted before he switched to 'Dad Might' mode and his face changed. He cleared his throat and prepared to lecture Katsuki for picking up the phone, but Bakugo apologized to his idol and sighed, shoving his hands in his pocket and kicking a loose pebble. He looked away and spat up the last of the blood from his nose. "I see you boys both went for the nose. A weak point on the face, indeed. I'm afraid I'm not here to just walk you back to the dorms. I am the relayer of bad news- don't shoot the messenger, but all involved with today's fight are on dorm arrest for a week. That and both of you are seeing Aizawa for discipline after classes Monday. That is all."
Izuku's face went pale. "Wait. It's not a discipline room session is it?"
All Might sighed. "You know better than to fight."
Now Katsuki was clued in, but he said nothing. Midoriya had a ton of questions. He'd never been spanked. He was always a type- A Good Kid. "We're not getting paddled in front of each other, right?!"
Bakugo laughed and nudged Midoriya. "Why? Afraid you'd cry?"
All Might separated the boys and walked between them. "You will see him separately. And be glad. You could have been seeing Present Mic Sensei like Young Kaminari and Kirishima are. Rumor has it he lectures for an hour and expects a written apology."
Both boys made a face- they were, in fact, glad that they didn't have to deal with that. Still, if they could choose between getting a spanking and not getting a spanking, they would for sure choose the latter.
They made it back to the dorms, where Kaminari and Kirishima was trying to get all of the floors cleaned in the lobby. The first floor had guest rooms, a spare overnight staff room with two beds, a meeting room, and the front desk, which was about to be guarded by All Might. Ever since the attack that started putting a target on the class' back, U.A. had intended to put the students somewhere safer. For this reason, a pro hero guarded the front desk when they weren't doing dorm checks. Girls and boys shared the second through fourth floors, with each student having their own spaces. They shared bathrooms with their assigned sexes. There existed a coed bathroom on the first floor for any gender questioning students, but there were none at the current time. Principal Nezu still thought that it would be a good idea for the students of the future, though he hoped that it would not be necessary to still house the students with 24/7 security.
"Are you guys coming, still?" Kaminari asked Midoriya and Bakugo while All Might talked with Kirishima.
"I'm surprised Deku even got an invite." Katsuki griped.
"Todoroki is my friend, too." Izuku stated, knowing that he was literally playing with fire, considering Bakugo was still pissed off.
"Whatever. We're supposed to meet at the Todoroki's at midnight tomorrow night. We'll be back by seven."
Shoto Todorkoi was son of the currently number one hero, Endeavour. He was experimenting with a bit of a rebellious streak. With a mother in the hospital indefinitely, it seemed, Todoroki only had to worry about his siblings being home, but his sister was taking his brother out of town to see family for a weekend at the hot springs, leaving the Todoroki home open. Endeavour asked his son to watch the house, away from the dorms for the weekend, and Shoto, to his father's surprise and ignorance, accepted. No adults were aware of the raging party about to ensue, but they were young and why not act their age?
Midoriya made it upstairs to the third floor, where his dorm room resided. Ochaco Uraraka was chatting with Mina and Jiro, while Toru braided Momo Yaoyoruzu's long hair. It was always hard to tell where Toru was when she was naked, as she was invisible. The boys all found it kind of hot, but no one spoke up about it… except for Mineta, who would never shut the fuck up about the girls. He wasn't invited. Ochaco saw Izuku and waved him over, as she popped up from the couch.
"Deku! I was so worried about you!" She said, sweetly, a look of genuine concern was set on her face. She wrung her hands. "Did you get in trouble? I mean, this is kind of your third time. I know you started the last fight, but you know… this isn't like you."
Midoriya blushed and cleared his throat, hoping that damn puberty voice-crack wouldn't happen like it seemed to happen whenever he tried to flirt with Uraraka. "Yeah." Fuck. His voice cracked. He cleared his throat again, this time quieter. "Yeah." He repeated. "I'm in big trouble. Recovery Girl gave me a pain killer candy but told me I have to live with the bruises, which is fair, I suppose."
Ochaco scowled at the elevator, where they could hear Bakugo mashing the buttons and shouting. "That Katsuki is no good." She was mad. Pissed, even, but looked fairly calm. She shook her head and was sunny again. "But you're okay and that's all that matters. I wish him the best, but he's gotta learn to deal with that temper!"
Suddenly the elevator opened and Katsuki was in full view. He stepped out, dressed in sweatpants and a tank top. "Are you coming?! The lobby floors don't wax themselves!"
Midoriya hadn't changed out of his uniform yet. "Yes! Oh, I'm sorry! I was bust talking and I—"
Bakugo frowned. "Just get down here in the next five minutes! I'm not doing it myself with those clowns."
Toru spoke up. "Those clowns are your friends, Katsuki!" She was waving her left fist at him, not that anyone could see.
"Whatever." Katsuki growled. "And don't call me by my name."
"Okay, Murder Explosion Lord." Yaoyorozu laughed.
Bakugo didn't know how to talk to girls and instead balled up his fists and stomped into the elevator.
After a quick change of clothes, Midoriya reported to the lobby to clean the windows. They worked until dinnertime, but being grounded to the dorms meant that they had to return to their rooms or common area to eat and couldn't stay at the dining hall. Izuku could barely eat. He was so anxious.
A spanking, huh? Well damn that to hell. He had no clue what to expect. He looked at his All Might posters and sighed. "I'm sorry, Toshinori Sensei." He apologized. "I know better." He knew better than to go to tomorrow's party, too, but he still was going to do that. "Okay, new rule. I'll start shaping up Sunday morning. I'll get all of my homework done and do my best at these chores for the week!" He nodded and got to say his 'thanks' for the meal before breaking his chopsticks and stabbing them into the rice.
Katsuki was on the phone with his mother. "You ALLOW this?!" He screamed.
"Watch your tone, young man! Don't call me and shout about something so vague!" Mrs. Bakugo returned.
He lowered his voice. "I'm getting a spanking! Like a damn kid." He muttered, setting his chopsticks aflame. He threw them on the floor and stomped out the smoking utensils. He finished dinner minutes ago.
"You started getting your ass whooped at thirteen, Katsuki. Your father and I began implementing corporal punishment when you started beating up that boy, Izuku. You had better not been fighting, 'cause I bet your father can do a better job than your teacher- that Eraserhead pro or do you not remember?!"
Bakugo felt tears in his eyes. "Yes, ma. I remember."
"Shape up, son." She said, seriously. "We love you."
"Yeah, yeah." The teen grumped before hanging up. He got another call. He picked it up.
It was his mother again. "SAY IT BACK!"
"NO!" He returned.
Another call. "FINE! I LOVE YOU, TOO!" Bakugo was seething.
"That's not how our calls usually start." Todoroki's voice said, calmly.
"Ah, shit. Yeah, sorry Shoto." Katsuki muttered. "I was on the phone with the parental unit."
"You coming tomorrow night?" Shoto asked.
"Yeah, of course." Bakugo replied. "Like, for sure."
"Okay. But seriously, man. Can I count on you to be cool- to NOT start a fight and get the cops called on us?" Todoroki sounded a weary.
Bakugo's face dropped. "Yeah, man. I'm always cool. Denki gets drunk easily, so I'll be watching him. I'm not the one to worry about."
"Hm." Was all Todoroki replied.
And as Friday night fell, the students lay down and slept until Saturday morning broke through…
