Cabe struggled with what, if anything, to say to Ralph. He didn't want him to just walk into the Garage and the situation slams into his face like a two by four.

"I'm guessing you are curious and probably running probabilities as to why I picked you up?" Cabe started off.

Ralph looked up at Cabe. After their initial greeting Cabe had become very quiet, which was fine with Ralph but it wasn't normal. And Cabe wasn't his normal self. Something was bothering him and Ralph had been running probabilities.

"Yes. You aren't behaving normally, you are a bit quieter than normal and you don't seem happy. But you aren't distressed enough for it to be something life threatening. So, something fairly major happened, something that has brought Mom back to Walter. A case of some kind most likely. But it isn't enough to indicate that Mom has forgiven Walter yet." Ralph said his voice had deepened as his body matured. His head turned to look back out at the road.

Cabe smiled as he chuckled.

"If it wasn't impossible I'd swear I was 25 years younger driving with Walter back to his parent's house." Cabe grinned at the memory of his first encounter with Walter. Then Cabe sighed. "But yeah, there is a case. A personal case for your Mom. Look, it is a bit delicate and I'm not sure what I should say without your Mom's permission. Just, when we get back to the Garage after picking up dinner, try to focus on your homework after you eat. Or maybe I should take you home with me. I doubt your Mom would be comfortable with you knowing what is happening." Cabe finally said.

Ralph looked at Cabe for a moment and sighed as they pulled into Kovelsky's parking lot.

"Does this have something to do with Mom having sex pictures and videos on the internet?" Ralph finally asked, his demeanor subdued as Cabe turned off the SUV.

"What the hell?" Cabe demanded as he looked at Ralph. "How do you know about this?"

"Two days ago when Mom dropped me off at school. I'd forgotten my project in the back. She got out and got it and brought it up to me. After she left a couple of the older boys started teasing me about how hot she is and the way she can, well, I won't finish that. I've been so torn about telling her, or asking about it I suppose. I was so mad, even more mad at her than I was at Walter over what he did. A couple of times I had thought about trying to find out more but then I'd get a sick feeling, thinking about it. Having it confirmed, I mean, if that is what she wants to do." Ralph shrugged. "It's her life." Ralph said quietly.

"Okay, look son. First it wouldn't just be okay for her to do something like that, which would have such a huge impact on you. Not that she would. But she found out today about a website with lots of pics and videos, of what looks like her, on it. Not that we needed him to, but Walter has proven that someone used technology to digitally alter the images so it just looks like your Mom. Your Mom didn't do anything wrong." Cabe told him as he squeezed Ralph's shoulder.

"Thanks for being honest with me Cabe. I doubt any of the others would have." Ralph smiled sadly.

While waiting on the food to finish being cooked Ralph went to the bathroom so Cabe got his phone out.

"Cabe? Is something wrong?" Paige asked worriedly when she answered her phone.

"No, everything is fine. I can't talk long as Ralph is in the bathroom. I just wanted to give you a heads up. Apparently word about this website and its content has gotten around. Two days ago a couple of older boys had teased Ralph about it after seeing you give him his project." Cabe told her quietly.

"Oh gawd, no. Cabe, what did you say?" Paige panicked.

"Relax kid. I told him the truth that you just found out about the website today and that Walter has already proven that someone altered the content to look like you." Cabe assured her. "Ralph is taking it better than I thought. But I wanted to give you a heads up over it."

"Gawd, this is such a nightmare. Thanks Cabe." Paige said weakly before Cabe had to hang up.

"What's going on?" Walter asked as he looked up from his laptop.

"Apparently some of the boys at Ralph's school have seen some of this and a couple of days ago were teasing Ralph." Paige cried as she clung to Walter's shoulders.

"We'll get this fixed Paige. I promise." Walter told her as he turned his head and kissed the top of her head.

"Thank you for not holding what I did against me and being here to help me." Paige said softly into his ear.

"Paige, I love you. I'll always be on your side." Walter told her as he went back to work.

Walter kept his distance from the other geniuses and focused on the problem of the website. As soon as Walter made it clear he didn't want any distractions Happy had made Toby and Sylvester sit down on the couch. Once Happy had left to get them Paige had actually been hoping this would open things up for them to talk. Centipede hadn't been working out like how they had told her their plan was. Sure they had managed to sneak a couple of jobs away from Walter but they had bid for them ridiculously low to ensure it. But Walter didn't want the distraction, at least she hoped that was the only reason.

Walter did take a few minutes to speak with Ralph. As soon as Ralph came through the door Walter closed the top of the laptop. The two geniuses embraced immediately as Ralph moved over to him and his Mom. Walter and Paige sat there with Ralph standing between them. After he'd hugged them both he went off on Walter. Paige had started to correct him over it but Walter stopped her. He wanted Ralph to vent what he needed.

Ralph was glad for it and he tore into Walter hard after that. He only paused and then stopped when he saw a tear run down Walter's cheek. That broke Ralph and he hugged him again and sobbed how sorry he was for how he felt about what Walter had done. Paige immediately put her arms around both geniuses and hugged them tightly to her.

"It's okay Ralph. I want you to always embrace your emotions. I need you to be better than I am with emotions. Your Mom is perfect for that, now that you know how to interact mentally. And no matter what, you will always be my son." Walter whispered as he kissed Ralph's cheek. "Now, I need to get back to work. So, go eat."

Ralph smiled and nodded before moving over to where Happy and Cabe had set out the food.

Paige pulled at Walter's hand. Walter smiled but shook his head.

"I need to work right now. You go eat, just have someone bring my dinner over so I can eat while I work." Walter told her.

Paige sighed but nodded before she kissed his cheek. She stood and walked over and whispered to Happy. Happy looked at Walter and nodded.

"Come on and join us Walt. We miss you." Happy said as she stepped over to him.

He steadfastly refused to move over to eat with them.

"I don't have time for the distraction now, Happy, I need to work." Walter told her.

"See, you never listen to us, to what we think and feel. Nothing you can do right now can change what has happened. You should listen to me for once and take a few minutes and spend time with your family." Happy told him.

Walter glared at her as he stood up.

"You know, of all of my so-called "family", you were the last person I ever thought would do what you did to me." Walter said with venom.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Happy said angrily.

"It means, your Father abandoned you because he couldn't deal with his depression and feelings of loss. Like Father, like daughter." Walter swore angrily.

Happy's eyes went wide in shock even as everyone else gasped. And then Cabe and Paige both jumped up and ran for the pair as Happy's fist doubled up and she slugged Walter with all the power and fury she could muster.

Walter's jaw exploded in pain. Tears instantly welled up in his eyes as his head whipped to the side and the resulting action caused him to lose momentarily control over his body and his knees buckled as he fell to the floor. Ralph's eyes went wide seeing his head hit the edge of the desk as he fell.

Walter felt nothing.

"Dad!" Ralph screamed and jumped up and was running before Walter hit the floor. Toby was scrambling to get up and Sylvester just sat there, his eyes opened wide in disbelief.

Cabe grabbed Happy's shoulders and half threw her back away from Walter as Paige stopped next to Walter.

"Walter." Paige said softly as she got down to check on him. Walter wasn't moving or responding and then Ralph was there next to her.

"Dad!" Ralph yelled and shook Walter's shoulder.

Toby had passed by Happy and Cabe who were in the middle of a standoff. His wife might need some mental assistance right now but Walter needed immediate medical evaluation.

Toby dropped down on the other side of Walter from Paige and Ralph. He saw a small pool of blood forming.

"Cabe, we need an ambulance…now." Toby told him as he began to try and examine Walter.

"Not good." Toby said while looking at Walter's pupils. "One eye is blown." Toby said even as he began checking his pulse.

"What's that mean?" Paige demanded.

"It means he has a brain injury." Ralph said as he glared back at Happy. "I hate you."

Happy swallowed hard as she slowly realized what she had just done.

"Ralph. Now isn't the time." Paige told him as she squeezed Walter's hand and hugged Ralph to her.

Paige paced back and forth in the lobby of the ER of Cedars as they evaluated Walter. Cabe had put her in the ambulance with Walter and promised to be right behind them with Ralph. Her arms wrapped across her breasts as her hands squeezed her biceps off and on.

"Mom!" Ralph shouted as he came through the checkpoint entrance.

Paige exhaled in relief and caught Ralph up in her arms.

"I'm so glad you are finally here." Paige told him as her hands rubbed up and down Ralph's back.

"How is he?" Cabe asked as he caught up with them.

"I don't know Cabe. They won't tell me a damn thing." Paige nearly wailed.

Cabe hugged them both and then moved over to the nurse's station and flashed his credentials. The nurse quickly looked up Walter's record and told Cabe what she could.

Cabe nodded and walked back to Paige.

"He's down in radiology getting a CT scan right now." Cabe told her and Ralph.

Paige nodded glad to know Walter was still alive.

Sylvester walked in just as Paige released Ralph from the hug she had him in.

"Hey, any word yet?" Sylvester asked weakly.

"Just that he is in radiology for a CT scan." Cabe told him.

Sylvester nodded.

"Do you want me to try and continue investigating that website?" Sylvester asked warily, pointing to Walter's laptop he brought with him.

"I don't give a damn about that website right now." Paige told him as she turned and began pacing again.

"What the hell is that bitch doing here?" Ralph demanded seeing Happy come through the checkpoint.

"Ralph Dineen!" Paige turned and glared at him. "You do not talk about people in general like that. And you certainly do not talk about our friends like that. You apologize this instant." Paige yelled.

"I won't! And she isn't a friend. A friend doesn't put their hand on you in anger. They try to understand, they certainly don't try to kill you like she did." Ralph glared back.

Happy swallowed hard as a security guard moved over.

"Uh, folks, do we have a problem here?" The guard asked.

"Yes, she nearly killed my Dad and I don't want her anywhere near us. You should have arrested her Cabe." Ralph said angrily.

"She didn't nearly kill anyone Ralph, stop making this harder on everyone." Paige admonished him.

Cabe flashed his credentials to the guard.

"We had a family dust up, some words were said and an accident happened. Ralph is just really upset over it." Cabe told the guard quietly. "We'll do our best to get him to calm down."

"We got a room over here that we could move you folks to. It is normally used for overflow but it might work as a quietroom for this young man." The guard whispered to Cabe.

"That's not a bad idea." Cabe nodded. Cabe whispered to Paige and she nodded before following the guard with Ralph. Sylvester walked with them as Cabe stepped over and advised the nurse where they would be for updates.

"You okay?" Cabe asked Happy as she stood there by herself.

"No. What did I do?" Happy asked. "I can't believe I did that to Walt. What is wrong with me?"

"Well you are human for one thing." Cabe kind of jested. "But seriously kid, it might be time to get some help for your anger and impulse control." Cabe told her as he put his arm around her shoulders and led her to follow after Paige.

Paige went back to pacing once they were in the overflow room. Happy had sat down as far from Ralph as she could but his constant glare at her finally forced her to stand and pace herself.

Sylvester sat there uncomfortably not sure what he should be doing. Happy's attack on Walter and Ralph's words had struck a chord in him and what he had done to Walter two weeks ago. He'd never been a physical person. And while he hadn't really hit Walter, he had shoved him out of anger. But why had he been angry?

Sylvester sat there trying to understand what happened that night, well the last two weeks before that night as well. Before today he hadn't given what happened a second thought. He had felt betrayed by Walter, but that wasn't why he was angry. It was his words, what Walter seemed to think about him. Walter was his hero, he'd always been there for him. Guiding, protecting and overseeing him. Walter had given so much to him. Forgave him for being a coward, for not telling him he was dating Megan. Only thing Walter was concerned with him dating Megan was Sylvester getting hurt when Megan would inevitably pass. Walter didn't even hold it against him that he married his sister behind his back and took her off the ventilator.

Sylvester's eyes were tightly squeezed together even as tears ran down his face.

"You okay kid?" Cabe asked gently.

Sylvester nodded.

"Cabe, I'm officially quitting Centipede Partners. I want to apologize to Walter and come back to Scorpion. Please." Sylvester begged him.

Cabe smiled as he nodded.

"You've got my permission. Let's hope you get that chance." Cabe said softly as he looked at Paige still pacing.
