Summary: Rhea is called to bring low primals once more. As one by one they fall to her abilities, the aetherical imbalances in the realm only seem to grow worse. Directed to Wineport, Rhea sets upon a journey to look into the increasing imbalances and finds a surprising ally leading the investigation.
Moogles. Did it have to be Moogles!?
It strained even Rhea's mind to imagine that Moogles, of all creations, would summon a primal but true enough, they had. And, like all primals who came up against Rhea, the Good King Moggle Mog XII fell. Yet, he had not been a primal in the most traditional of senses, after all the Moogles did not worship him as a god, but through crystals and fervent desperation, he was summoned nonetheless and all thanks to Ascian meddling years prior.
Itching though she was to return to Saint Coinach's Find to see the progress of Cid and the rest of NOAH, her work was far from done. Once more the Amalj'aa had summoned Ifrit. It seemed in the wake of the chaos the Garlean's brought, many and more of the beast tribes were frantic for protection of the unknown and thus, looked to their gods.
Once more, Rhea dove into the fight and though it was more difficult than the first time, Ifrit fell to her spells. Then Garuda and Titan in his stead in the days after as Ifrit's fall spurred the other beast tribes into summoning their more powerful gods to protect them. Rhea had become, apparently, the bogeyman for the beast tribes. It was only after they fell once more to her might, that the beast tribes seemed to quiet. Perhaps now she could return to her 'rest' and relaxation.
Or so she thought…
The period of rest was done, it seemed, for as soon as Titan fell, she was called once more to the Waking Sands. Urianger was there with news of further investigation of the deafening roar heard the day of the gathering upon the banks of the Silvertear Lake. It appeared that with each felling of the recent string of primals, aetheric imbalances had been witnessed throughout Eorzea. They should have been getting better, not worse. Thus, with barely a moment to catch her breath, Rhea set out Wineport to follow up on the reports.
When she arrived, the one heading up the investigation into the imbalances and risk of another primal was none other than the twin of her dear friend Alphinaud - Alisaie Leveilleur. Rhea, having only met her briefly in what seemed like an age passed, was pleasantly surprised to find the young Scion on the trail of this new threat. A new threat that had far more reaching repercussions than she expected. While the signs pointed to the likelihood of the rise of another primal, it was the aetheric surges and imbalances that concentrated towards the caverns under Castrum Occidens that were of greatest concern. Something was wrong and it was only getting worse.
With Alisaie at her side, the two elezen delved deep into the depths of the caverns below the Castrum. Both were determined to discover not only the nature of the aetherical imbalances but also give insight into what happened when Louisoix brought Bahamut low on the fields of Carteneau, both disappearing and never to be seen from again.
