Belle and Madison kept on riding Philippe's back and headed straight to the forest. Madison kept on holding tight around Belle's waist but tried to stay warm with her cloak from the blizzard as the wind was blowing.
"You alright Madison?" Belle asked as she kept driving the reins.
"I'm alright. Just trying to stay warm." she answered.
"Don't worry. You'll be warm once we get back to the village. I'm sure Papa will let you stay."
"Thanks, Belle. I appreciate it." Madison smiled a little but then became worried, "But are you sure you know the way back? I mean, the forest looks like a maze, we can easily get lost."
"Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure I know this path. Just hold on."
"Okay..." Madison kept holding onto her friend but keeps getting a bad feeling that something going to block their path.
Philippe kept on galloping, but a bunch of bats startled him as they flew off. Madison screamed as they flew around, and Belle tries to calm the horse down. Then something caught Madison's attention in fright.
"Belle!" she shrieked.
"What? What is it?" Belle asked but then she gasp at what Madison saw.
Some wolves appear out from behind the trees, snarling at them & about to ambush them as Philippe back away a little.
"We gotta get out of here!" Madison yelled.
"Go Philippe!" Belle shouted.
Philippe turns around & runs in a different direction, but the wolves are beginning chasing him & the girls. Madison panicked as she saw them coming. The horse jumped over the logs, running from side to side, making the wolves hit the trees. They were still chasing them, but one was closer beside Philippe and tries to attack him. The horse neighed but the wolf did miss attacking him while the girls were still holding onto him.
Philippe galloped as fast as he could but he along with the girls turned to see if the wolves were still chasing them until they ran out to a frozen pond. The water was freezing for the girls, mostly for Madison, but it doesn't stop Philippe from swimming forwards through the ice. With his big hooves, the horse tries swimming to reach to the surface until the wolves chase them into the water, but some couldn't swim in the icy water.
The horse finally manages to make out of the water and gallops on. The girls held on to their dear life until the wolves surrounded them. Philippe bucks and accidently threw the girls off if his back and was surrounded around by the wolves. Madison stood frozen in fear as she was still on the ground, but Belle got up on her feet. She watched the wolves trying to attack Philippe, but the horse kicked as he was trying to defend himself.
"Philippe!" Belle cried out as she grabbed a broken branch. Holding it in a position as a bat.
Madison watched Belle swinging the branch at the wolves as they were attacking until one wolf was growling at her, staring at Madison with the glowing yellow eyes. Madison screamed as it started to pounce until her necklace glow. The wolf whimpered as the beam hit it. Madison opened her eyes and saw the necklace glowing. She knew what that her necklace protected but didn't know the Belle witness that part. Madison looked up and her eyes grew wide.
"Belle watch out!" she yelled.
Belle turned and saw one of the wolves that was near her. She swung the branch to hit it, but the wolf grabbed the stick and breaks it in have. Leaving Belle defenseless.
"Belle!" Madison cried and saw another wolf grabbing the corner of Belle's cloak and dragged her to the ground, "No! Stop! Leave her alone!"
Madison tried to get up and was about to help her friend until a shadow went past and grabbed the wolf. It was the Beast as he was roaring at it. Belle and Madison looked shocked, and they couldn't believe that Beast was here. He threw the wolf away from him and stood close to the girls, watching the wolves coming closer and the Beast started to attack.
The Beast fought off the wolves with his cape pulled and ripped, feeling them biting and scratching him. It was painful when he lets out some roars. The girls watched the Beast as he kept on fighting until a final blow was, he threw one of the wolves at the tree. The wolves growled but flee away.
The fight was over, but the Beast turned to Belle and Madison, looking despairingly and his arm was scratched until he collapsed. Madison looked worried but Belle was about to climb back up on Philippe's back but then she stops. She finds it hard of what she should do. She wanted to go back to her father but she's thinking that if she leaves him here, she's no better than he is.
"Madison, I need you to help me." said Belle and Madison nod her head.
Belle and Madison went over to see if the Beast is ok. Belle puts her cloak around the beast and Madison whispered to him, "You have to help us. You have to stand."
With one final strength, Beast slowly got up as Belle and Madison help him and walked slowly to Philippe. He was now on the horse and walked with the girls as they were heading back to the castle.
Back at the castle...
Madison was near the fireplace warming herself up as a blanket was wrapped around her. She looked to see Belle pouring hot water out of Mrs. Potts' stout into a bowl and a rag was in there.
Belle ringed out the rag and looked at the Beast as he was licking his wound. She moves a little closer. "Here now." she said as she looked at him, "Don't do that!"
The Beast growled at her and the servants move back away a bit while Madison starts covering her ears from her hands.
"Just hold still." she said as she put the rag on the beast's arm and he roared in pain, making everyone take cover into hiding. Madison shrieks and covers herself to hide in the blanket but move back from the fireplace.
"THAT HURTS!" the Beast roared at Belle.
"If you hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much!"
"Well, if you and your friend here haven't run away, this would've happened!"
"If you haven't frightened us, we would have run away!" she argued.
Madison uncovered herself from the blanket and looked at them. The Beast opened his mouth to respond but has to stop and thought of a good line.
"Well, you two shouldn't have been in the West Wing."
"Well, you should learn to control your temper!" the girls yelled.
The Beast was about to say something, but he couldn't find the right words for it and felt defeated.
"Now, hold still. This might sting a little." said Belle as she gently took his arm.
Beast felt the rag on his arm again and cringed as he felt the pain stings.
"By the way, thank you...for saving our lives." Belle spoke softly.
The Beast looked at her by surprised and then he softly replied, "Your welcome."
Madison looked at the two and smiled softly at that moment while the objects came close to them.
