Moments later, after breakfast, Madison and Belle were outside by the snowy garden, walking with Philippe. Belle was looking down as at the snowy ground as she was thinking of something. Madison looked at Belle as she saw the expression on her face. She knew that she was thinking about her father.
"You okay Belle?" Madison asked.
"I'm alright. I'm just... thinking about Papa." she replied sadly until Madison placed her hand on her shoulder.
"I'm... sure he's alright." said Madison.
Philippe gave Belle a little nudge as he smiled. The girls giggled and smiled at the horse and Belle hugged him.
Suddenly, Sultan the footstool came barking and running around as he was playing in the snow. He looked at the girls and dashed towards Belle, jumping into her arms as Belle was hugging him. Madison giggled and petted the stool.
"Madison? Can I ask you something?" Belle asked.
Madison looked at Belle as she notices that she wasn't look at her but the necklace.
"It's something about what you saw when we were attack by wolves last night? Wasn't it?" she asked, and Belle nod her head.
"What you saw wasn't me, Belle. It was the necklace." she replied as she shows her necklace, "This necklace has powers. I only discovered a few but it makes me think there is more. That beam you saw that hit one of the wolves was protection."
Belle looked at the necklace and looked back at Madison.
"Wish you could have told me sooner."
"If I did, I was afraid you wouldn't believe me."
"I'm starting to believe now since we came to the enchanted castle." said Belle and Madison smiled to her.
"Excuse me mademoiselles." a voice spoke.
The girls turned and saw Cogsworth and Lumiere, standing on the snowy ground.
"The Master wanted you two at the hallway. He wants to show you two something." said Cogsworth.
The girls looked at each other and looked back at the two.
"Of course." said Belle.
"Right this way cheries." said Lumiere and hopped away while the girls start following him and Cogsworth walks with them.
Down the hall, the girls follow Lumiere and Cogsworth. Madison was behind them until three live feather dusters that look like Fifi stopped her tracks.
"You must come with us mademoiselle." one of them spoke.
"Yes, the Master only wants to show Mademoiselle Belle the room that she'll enjoy."
"The other room is something that you'll enjoy."
"Come come."
Madison looked at the dusters and follow them. They came down to another hall and stopped at a room.
"This is the room mademoiselle."
"Yes, the master heard what you enjoy."
"Go ahead open. Open the door!" the third feather duster spoke with excitement.
Madison looked at the dusters and looked at the door. She starts opening and looked inside. What she saw was a complete surprise.
Inside the room, were easels, paints, brushes and all kinds of things that were in. It was the art room.
"Oh my..." Madison spoke softly in awe.
"The Master heard that you like art and love to draw."
"So, we quickly clean the art room for you."
"And enjoy painting and stuff."
Madison looked at them with a smile of excitement on her face.
"Would you tell him I said thank you?" she asked. The dusters bow their heads as a nod and went off.
Madison looked around with amazement but squealed a little. 'There's so much I could do but... where do I start?' she thought, 'And I know Belle already enjoyed the library.'
Madison looked around more until she notices some paper and charcoal pencils.
"I've never down charcoal before but... I could give it a try, just need to be careful not to get messy but I do know what I should draw." she said.
She grabbed one of the pencils and carefully sketch the lines. Madison carefully sketches the paper and try not to make any mistakes. As she put the final touch, Madison put the pencil down and looked at the picture. It was the picture of the Beast.
"Wow! That looks amazing." a child voice spoke.
Madison turned and saw Chip, standing on a stack of paper beside her.
"Hello Chip." said Madison as she smiled, "I didn't see you there."
"Did you like the room?"
"Of course, I do." Madison replied as she smiled.
"You sure like to draw a lot."
"Drawing is the only thing I enjoyed doing."
Madison got up from her seat and saw the stain on her hands from the charcoal. She walked around the room and saw a rag. She picked it up and starts rubbing the stains off.
"Madison, can I ask you something?" Chip asked.
"Sure. What is it?"
"Do you... like the master?"
Madison paused and looked at Chip.
"Like? As in...?"
"You know, in love?"
Madison's cheeks blushed a little but shook her head as she carefully picked the teacup up from her hand.
"Oh Chip. I only see your master as a friend. Just a friend."
"Oh..."
"But... I'm sure Belle will be the one who like her. Just don't tell them that."
Chip smiled and nod happily until they both heard someone that was clearing the throat. They both turned and saw Mrs. Potts.
"There you are Chip! I saw you wondering off somewhere and now I found you here." she said and then looked at Madison. "How do you like this room my dear?"
"It's wonderful Mrs. Potts." she replied softly.
"Yeah, you should have seen what she just sketch. She drew the master, and it looks amazing." said Chip as Madison gently placed him down to the ground and then hopped towards his mother.
"The master wants you to have the room dear. And your friend has already enjoyed her gift."
"That's good to hear." said Madison.
Mrs. Potts smiled at her and then looked at Chip.
"Come along Chip. We must get breakfast ready and set. And as for you my dear, I think you should get ready too. Perhaps a clean dress." she said.
Madison looked at her confused but as she looked at her dress, she saw some spots that were coming from the charcoal.
"Oh! I thought I was careful with those pencils!" said Madison as she tried rubbing it off.
"Rubbing won't do any good dear. Go on and get cleaned up quickly okay." said Mrs. Potts as she gently smiled.
Madison nodded her head and starts exiting the room, heading straight to find her and Belle's room to wear a different dress. Madison knew what the dress would and what the next scene will be.
