I do not own Power Rangers. Just this fan-made season.

"W-who are you?!" Nicky growled at the strange-looking woman.

The woman rolled her eyes. "I just told you, my name is Millicent Carter, but please call me Milly."

"Where are we?" Cain asked, shaking hysterically.

"Let me show you, but we should probably head back to your time."

Jasmine crossed her arms and said. "How?"

Milly just sighed as she pulled out a strange wand. It was long and had a white star at the tip of it. She knew there was only one way to convince these 'chosen ones' that she was serious about helping them. She also had plans for them. Plans that would grant them the privileges of defending space and time from the evil lurking before them.

She then let out a shriek that almost sounded as if she was calling for the lord himself as she raised the wand toward the sky. Just then, the clouds in the sky darkened as a vortex similar to what the kids had experienced back in the museum began to form. Nicky and his friends all flinched as the vortex began to relay a blinding light, which Milly was somewhat unfazed by as it sucked her through.

The three teens screeched as the oozy green vortex sucked all three of them upwards into it. Greenness filled their entire atmosphere as Jasmine, Nicky, and Cain wailed panickily as their bodies surged through the long passageway. It was a rather bumpy ride, with some turbulence here and there. The next thing they knew, they landed hard on the hill that they were hanging onto earlier before being sucked into Industrial Revolution earlier.

Nicky moaned as he surveyed his surrounding. They were back near the parking lot of the museum. The three teens managed to tirelessly get up to their feet, rubbing any part of their bodies that had been bruised by the hard fall.

But something was strange. They couldn't find Milly anywhere. It was as if she never landed in their time. The three teens looked at each other bewildered and completely speechless as to what had occurred. Before they could say anything, the back door of the museum swung open. Nicky and his friends then gasped in fear as Cain's father appeared. His face was full of shock, then reverted to anger as he pointed a finger at Cain.

"Where have you been?" He asked, his face etched with fury.

Cain gulped. "Dad...it is a long story."

"We tried to catch a thief, Mr. Tally," Jasmine confessed.

Mr. Tally then spoke through his teeth. "What are you doing with those necklaces?"

The teens were a bit confused and then realized they were wearing the colored necklaces that were deemed stolen from the museum. Cain's mouth was agape as he looked up at his ticked-off father. He had no idea how to explain this to him, but then realized something...his father was not only the manager of the museum but a true historian. He knew all about the necklaces and could probably answer a few pending questions.

Cain stepped a foot closer toward his father. "Dad, I know you're angry, but what are these necklaces?"

Mr. Tally shook his head. "I have nothing to say to you..."

Cain furrowed his eyebrows as he was growing a bit irritated. "Dad, please. You're the second smartest guy around."

Mr. Tally raised an eyebrow. "Second?"

Cain shrugged. "Well, who else fixes all the electronics in the house?" He smirked.

Mr. Tally almost smiled at this but shook his head as he kept his serious tone. "Young man, those necklaces are the footnotes of mankind." He reprimanded.

"Indeed it is," a familiar voice was heard. The four turned their head as Milly exited the museum and approached them. She wasn't wearing the robe anymore but instead sported a casual business suit and tire, and her hair was tied into a somewhat sloppy bun, which Jasmine didn't mind. The young teen even thought Milly looked stylish.

Mr. Tally gasped as he spoke. "M-Millicent?" He bowed slightly. "Sorry for any trouble my son and his friends may have insinuated."

"No trouble at all." She smiled. "In fact, and this may be a bit of a shock to you, but these kids just so happen to be the chosen ones."

Mr. Tally's eyes widened as he stared at Milly with awe. He glanced back over to Cain, Nicky, and Jasmine, who were all still very confused as to what was going on.

"Y-you mean..."

Milly nodded. "Yes, history doesn't lie."

Jasmine's face turned grim as she asked. "Hey, what do you mean the 'chosen ones'?" She then glanced over at Cain's father. "Mr. Tally, how do you know this woman?"

Mr. Tally bit his lip as he spoke. "Guys, this is Millicent Carter." He scratched his neck timidly. "She just so happens to own the museum."

"Oh, so she is your boss?"

Nicky shook his head. "What is going on here?"

Cain, being the whiz that he was, stroked his necklace with his finger as he spoke with an exciting grin. "The Power Rangers."

Nicky and Jasmine glanced over at Cain in shock. "What did you say?" Nicky asked.

Cain looked up at his friends as spoke. "Legend has it that the guardians stored these necklaces for centuries, hoping that one day it will trust those with good and pure hearts to use its powers to protect it from evil."

"Oh yeah, you mentioned the Power Rangers before the book went missing," Jasmine spoke, which caught Mr. Tally by surprise.

"Book? Are you guys talking about the TB?" He asked with horror.

"Yes, some guy tried to snatch it and ran off before we caught him, then he threw the book and we were sent back in time," Nicky explained. "Then Milly came along and saved us."

Milly and Mr. Tally were both stunned by this. They knew if the book were to truly be in the wrong hands, the fate of the world would truly be in danger.

"What did the man look like?" Milly asked.

Jasmine and Cain were both clueless, but then Nicky remembered catching a glimpse of the man without his hood just before they were sucked into the Industrial Revolution.

"He looked pale and very old. His hair was an unusual shade of red, and he wore this black cloak that covered a great majority of his body. I only managed to catch a glimpse of his face before we were sucked into the book."

Milly and Mr. Tally looked horrified. They knew no other person that would fit Nicky's description besides...

"Maslow." Mr. Tally spoke, barely a whisper. He then looked over at Milly. "Did you know about this?"

"I was only informed that someone had the necklaces. I used my Morpher to track the necklaces to 1799, and that's when I found these three children and brought them home."

"Wait...Morpher?" Jasmine asked.

Milly bit her lip. These were just a few careless kids she was dealing with. She did not want to go as far as to pressure them with the responsibilities that would be forced upon them. In all her years that she had worked with Marvin Tally, he had always bragged about the accomplishments his son had made and even made a few comments about Cain's friends. From what she could gather, Jasmine was a happy country girl who wanted to take over her father's farm once he retires, Nicky was looking forward to excelling in his karate classes and dreamed of one day becoming a mixed martial artist, and Cain could change the entire world with his crazy ideas for innovations.

"Marvin," Milly whispered to her employee. "We need to take them to a sacred place to discuss this."

Mr. Tally glanced over at his son's curious face as well as Nicky and Jasmine's confused looks and sighed. "Alright then. Kids, follow us."

Nicky glanced over at Cain and then looked over at Jasmine before they all finally shrugged their shoulders. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into, but if only they knew how drastically doing something as heroic as trying to stop a heist could impact their lives...they either would most likely wish they were never put in that position, to begin with. Out of the three, Nicky was the most serious one, while Jasmine was extremely hyperactive, and Cain sometimes could easily get his attention abrupted by the smallest of things. Now, the fate of space and time would be laid on their hands, and it would be a matter of time before they would face the biggest challenge of them all...a battle against the Great Major Lanny Maslow.

There, sorry if this chapter was lame, but I had to build some character with both Milly and Cain's father.

A quick note, school is starting soon, and updates may slow down as I will feel obligated to fulfill some goals, such as raising my GPA, finding an interesting subject to minor in, as well as obtaining my driver's license (I live in the city so technically I don't need it, but there will be a time when I do, like for example when I get a job after I graduate).

Thank you guys so much for the reviews! I hope to see more.
