Octavia walked in the streets of town alone. She had her backpack on as she looked for a place. She found what appeared to be an abandoned house and decided to explore before deciding to stay. She took a deep breath and quietly opened the door hoping that nobody beat her to it. She entered and began to explore. She accidentally knocked over a table, but caught it before it crashed on the floor. She entered a room where she found a shredded portrait. One side was a picture of her young mother while the other side was cut off. She is not alone in this house after all. She lifted the shreds to reveal a mysterious hand on her mother's shoulder. She then turned to see an orange flower under the glass bell jar. She walked over to it to investigate, her eyes transfixed on it. She lifted the jar, leaving the flower unprotected. She attempted to touch the flower until a voice shouted, "DON'T TOUCH THAT!" It was Geryon who rushed into the room and quickly covered the flower with the jar. He then turned his attention to the uninvited guest. "Why are you here?"

"I'm sorry," Octavia reassured. "I didn't mean any harm." Geryon's eyes widened as he recognized her.

"Wait, are you-" Geryon shook his head and got angry. "Do you realize what you could have done to my prized possession?" He then began to smash some furniture. "Get out!" Octavia got scared and began to flee from the room. "GET OUT!" He calmed down as he realized that he scared off the daughter of Stella and Stolas. He fell in despair as she fled.

Octavia ran back in the direction towards her home. She stopped when some strangers surrounded her. One of them held a pocket knife in hand. "Look, guys," Octavia said. "I am just trying to get home from what I just saw." The strangers ignored her and one of them took a step closer. He was about to grab her until he was stabbed by a glowing black blade. The blade pulled out as the imp collapsed; dead. Geryon held his sword as the imps turned their attention to him. They charged as he avoided the incoming strikes. Octavia hid from the action as she witnessed the same man she saw at the house she investigated. One of them jumped on Geryon's back and stabbed him a few times until he took the advantage to grab the imp and chop off his arm holding the pocket knife. He turned with a glare and scared off the others. Octavia came out of hiding as Geryon deactivated his weapon as he turned to look at her despairingly and then collapsed to the ground from all the wounds he got. She was grateful to be alive as she rushed to his aid and helped him off the ground to carry him back where he lived.

At Geryon's house, Octavia patched up Geryon's wounds with hot water as he sat on his chair. "You are the daughter of Stella, are you?" he asked.

"How do you know my mother?" Octavia asked as she continued to patch the wounds with the towel.

"I knew her when I was a child."

"Then that shredded photo. That was-" Geryon turned to look at Octavia.

"It's best if you stop asking questions about my life with her. She was better off without me."

"Aren't you a member of the Goetia family?"

"No. Just a random inventor in Hell. I may look like your kind, but I was not raised for royalty."

"I'm sorry to hear." Octavia ringed out the water from the towel as she finished healing Geryon's wounds.

"Why did you come here anyways?"

"It is hard to explain, but my parents just got a divorce." Geryon's eyes widened. "When I heard, I just ran away from all of it. My family. My responsibilities." Geryon puts on his shirt as he continues to listen. "My parents always hated each other." Tears then began to fall out of Octavia's eyes as Geryon turned to her. He knelt down to her eye level and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"I'll take you home. I cannot be seen by your mother yet, but I am sure you will tell her about what just happened today." Octavia nodded and followed Geryon out of the room.

"By the way, thank you, for saving my life and all." Geryon smiled.

"You're welcome."

The next day at the mansion, Octavia entered the kitchen where Stolas was having tea at the table. He noticed her grabbing a cup and asked, "Where were you yesterday, Tiva?"

"Oh, it's a long story and complicated," Octavia explained.

"I'm listening."

"You see I just wanted some fresh air from home so I decided to explore around town."

"Alone?"

"Dad, relax. I was just getting to the best part. Have you heard of a man named Geryon?"

"Only a little from your mother. He used to be best friends with her, but until this marriage proposal came up, they decided to break up."

"That's horrible! Anyways, I had an encounter with him at his home. Not to mention saved my life from imps." Stolas was surprised to hear that some random group of imps attempted to harm his daughter.

"Did they hurt you?"

"They tried until Geryon showed up." Octavia poured tea in her cup and sat down with her father. "I just had a feeling that he still cared about mother after all those years apart. I was thinking that she should talk to him."

"Maybe I should first." Octavia thought for a moment and smiled. "Just to see if your story checks out. In the meantime, you should inform your mother about it too."

Stolas exited his car in front of the house described by Octavia. He walked up towards the front door of the house. He knocked on the door before entering to see Geryon working at his table. He turned to see Stolas enter unannounced and quickly got up. "Prince Stolas?" he said, surprised. "It is an honor to meet you. What brings you here?"

"You are everything as my daughter described," Stolas said. "I have come with an offer."

"So, Octavia told you about me and Stella, huh?" Stolas nodded. "I see. What is your offer?"

"An opportunity of a lifetime. You see, my daughter has wanted you to see Stella since our divorce."

"I am not royalty as she said years ago. What makes you think she wants to see me again?"

"It's your choice not mine." Geryon thought for a moment.

"Zero!" Zero flew down the stairs and in front of Geryon. "How would you feel if we went on a visit to Stolus's mansion?" Zero barked with excitement as he smiled. "Count me in." Stolus smiled at the answer. "Just let me pack what I need."

"Take your time."
