Returning from the party with Stella, the two arrived at the doors to Geryon's visiting room after he told her what he has been up to since the two left each other as kids. He told her that he became an inventor as Stella was surprised to hear. The two then laughed as Geryon had an idea. "Stella, there is something I want to show you," he said. He opens the door then quickly closes it. "But first, you have to close your eyes."

"Why?" Stella asked.

"It's a surprise." Stella understood what he said and played along then closed her eyes. Geryon waved his hand in front of her just in case. He then opens the door and leads her in. Zero noticed the two come in as Geryon placed his finger over his mouth to keep Zero quiet. The ghost dog knew what was going on and pretended to go back to sleep.

"Can I open them?"

"No, no. Not yet. Wait here." Geryon walks away for a moment to grab the jar with the flower in it from the table and carefully stands in front of Stella with it in hands.

"Now can I open them?"

"All right. Now." Stella opened her eyes and gasped to see the orange flower that she gave Geryon as a kid in a glass jar.

"The flower I gave you when we were kids!" Stella placed her hand on the jar and noticed something different. "Aww, it's missing some petals."

"I tried watering it and nurturing it, but no matter how hard I try, the petals just keep on falling."

"No matter. Thank you for keeping it all those years." Zero flew right in front of Stella's face with a smile on its face. She gasped in surprise as she didn't notice Zero in the room.

"Oh, where are my manners? This is my ghost dog; Zero." Stella smiled in relief as Zero barked. She noticed that Zero's nose glowed as she petted it on the head. She then yawned as she realized that she needed some rest after hosting that party.

"Well it has been nice seeing you again, but I need to grab some shut eye." Stella began to leave the room as Geryon smiled.

"Good night, princess. I'll see you in the morning then?"

"That would be nice. See you in the morning." The door closed behind Stella after she left as Geryon looked at Zero.

"SUCCESS!" Geryon sat on a chair in the room and sighed with relief. "Best day of my life." Zero barked a question. "One step at a time, boy. For now, let's get some rest. It's been a long night."

The next morning, Geryon was working on a project he had on his table from his home. The object was shaped like a small pyramid with some decals on it. He picked it up after finishing the final touches on it and flipped a tiny switch under it. The object then began to glow red in his hand. He smiled as the object worked to his expectations. The only thing he needs is a piece of DNA from either blood or hair. Maybe a feather would work too, but it is worth a try. He popped his head out of the door and decided to sneak into Stolas's chambers. No one was in the room as he snuck in and noticed a hair brush on the table with what appears to be Stolas's feather. He grabbed it and quickly left the room towards his room. He chuckled as a test of his object was about to commence. Geryon placed the object on the table and opened a slot to insert Stolas's feather in it. It began to glow brighter red. The only way for the object to work was to ask it a question about the person. He wanted to know anyway about Stella's relationship with Stolas. "Why did Stolas get a divorce with Stella?" he asked the object as it glowed brighter and popped up a holographic screen. It was static at first, but it became clearer to see Stolas's perspective of him at a party he heard about from the paper. He could hear music and chatter from the guests. Stolas's view then turned to see Stella talking to family as she laughed. She held a glass in her hand as she talked then grabbed another as an imp passed by with a tray.

"No!" Stella said in the footage. "Stolas is TERRIBLE in bed! I swear to fuck he just lays there staring at the wall and I have to do everything! It's embarrassing! I'm glad one egg fell out of me so I could stop pretending to want to fuck his scrawny twig ass." She took a big gulp of her drink and threw it behind her as she laughed. She then walked away with the two guests as she turned to look at Stolas. "What a PATHETIC fucking man!" The image turned to static as Geryon couldn't believe what he witnessed that happened days ago, but it still didn't answer his question. After watching the footage, he got angry and picked up the object and threw it towards the wall to break it. The smashing woke up Zero who then had a look of concern. Geryon paced around the room back and forth as he had many questions. He then stopped and took a deep breath. The door bursts open as Stolas had a look of worry.

"You all right?" Stolas asked. "I heard a loud smash." He then noticed a broken device on the ground. "Did a project of yours fail?"

"No," Geryon said. "It worked. Just didn't like what I discovered with it."

"Enlighten me, please." Geryon sighed and gained the courage to explain to Stolas about his discovery.

"This device I made, it revealed to me something about you and Stella with one of your feathers I found. It showed me why you hated Stella so much."

"I see. The whole shenanigans at the party, I take it?" Geryon nodded. "And what happened then?"

"I just got frustrated and smashed the device on the wall." Geryon sat down on his bed next to Zero.

"You know, I heard from Octavia that you had a good time at the party and finally got what you wanted."

"But was it enough?"

"What do you mean?"

"Is it enough that we are just friends again? She told me when we were kids that I am not royalty before we broke up."

"That was where that flower came in, right?"

"Yeah. I miss the old days. Sneaking out when no one saw us, reading books together. What happened to her when we left each other?"

"I didn't want this whole marriage arrangement."

"You didn't like her?"

"I just couldn't take her constant cruelty towards me. It's complicated." Stolas then smiled. "Hey, why don't you take a break from your work and join me for breakfast?"

"Yeah. I'd like that." Geryon got up and followed Stolas out of the room.

After breakfast, Geryon explored the library to find a book to read. He recognized a title and carefully got it off the shelf. He looked at the cover and remembered that it was the same book him and Stella used to read when they were kids. He then heard a voice in the room. He turned to see Stella reading a book out loud to herself. He walked up to her and asked, "What are you reading?"

"I have no time for-oh it's you, Geryon," Stella said before bookmarking the page she was on. "It's just a book I haven't read yet." She then noticed the book Geryon was holding. "Ah, I remember that book. You were planning on reading that?"

"Yeah."

"How about instead we stroll through the gardens of the mansion? It is lovely."

"Sure. That way we can talk more." Stella got up from her chair and walked with Geryon out of the library.

"I'll make sure no one disturbs us."

Stella and Geryon strolled through the gardens of the mansion while they talked. Stella told stories about her life with Stolas and how horrible it was without Geryon around. She laughed as Geryon remembered what he saw with his invention and looked down. It was all as she described. She looked at him and reassured, "I didn't mean to bring that topic up if it bothers you."

"No, it's fine," Geryon replied. "You just reminded me of my time alone at home. I had nothing, but my creations and Zero."

"Creations? You mean that you are an inventor?" Geryon nodded.

"Don't be mad when I say this, but Stolas, he...arranged us to reunite. I'm sorry, but he came to me at my home." Stella was shocked with the revelation at first, but smiled.

"Then this must've been the best gift from him ever."

Stella

You're always sweet, and always kind

You were young and alone when we first met

And now you're dear, and so unsure

I don't know why, but I didn't see a change of heart

Geryon sat on a bench next to Stella as he smiled.

Geryon

When you glanced at me, I thought I saw

And when we touched, you didn't shudder at my claw

No, it can't be, I'll just ignore

But then you've never looked at me that way before last night

Stella smiled and stood up to look up at the sky.

Stella

New, and a bit alarming

Who'd have ever thought that this could be?

True, that you're no Prince Charming

But there's something in you I didn't see years ago

Geryon laughed before Stella grabbed his hand and dragged him through the garden to show him around. Octavia and Stolas observed from the balcony above.

Octavia

Well, who'd have thought?

Stolas

Well, bless my soul

Octavia

Well, who'd have known?

Stolas

Well, who indeed

Octavia

And who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own?

Stolas

It's spectacular!

Octavia and Stolas

We'll wait and see a few days more

There may be something there that wasn't there before

Geryon and Stella laughed as they collapsed on the grass.

Stolas

Perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before after all

Octavia

There may be something there that wasn't there before

Stolas chuckled as he placed his hand on Octavia's shoulder as the two walked back inside.
