Geryon's robot creations prepped the house for cleaning as the creator was upstairs since he returned from his visit at Stolas's mansion. He was brushing his feathers as she got ready for her date with Stella. He then put on some gel and put some breath mints in his mouth. He looked at his flower, but didn't care if some of its petals fell off. He was in love. He danced around in the room as he pictured what his date would be like. Zero barked with concern as it thought he was alright. "Sorry, boy," Geryon reassured. "I just somehow can't help myself. This is going to be great!" He then went back to the mirror to prepare final touches to his outfit he had hung up before changing into it.

Meanwhile at the mansion, Stella was putting her makeup on as she got ready to leave. She stood up and looked in a mirror with a smile as she made her final adjustments to her dress.

Stella made her way out of the mansion as Octavia gave her a thumbs up to wish her mother luck on the date.

Ah, my love

It's you

It's you

It's you

Octavia was about to head upstairs a few minutes after Stella left the mansion until a knock was heard at the door. She went back to the door as she thought it was her mother forgetting something. She opened the door and her uncle Andrealphus stood there. "Uncle Andrealphus?" she said. "If you're looking for my mother, you just missed her."

"That's fine," Andrealphus said. "I can wait. In the meantime, shall we talk?" He grinned evilly as something fishy was going on.

Stella arrived at the door to Geryon's house hoping that she got the right address. She looked back towards her car and then looked back at the door in front of her then knocked. A robot answered it and bowed as a greeting. He then allowed Stella to enter as she noticed some robots attending to a table prepped for her and Geryon. She then saw Geryon come down the stairs with his outfit on as she took off her coat and hung it up. "You sure know how to prepare a date," she said.

"Oh, they handle everything just in case," Geryon said. "Care to sit?" Stella smiled as the two walked to their seats at the table. The robots gave each of them a cup and poured them a glass of wine. Other robots played some music to entertain them as they enjoyed their date as the two talked.

After a few drinks, Geryon heard a song being played by the robots and decided to stand up from his seat and walked up to Stella and offered his hand to her. She took it and followed him outside where there were candles standing around a dance floor that was setup for them. The two then danced together to the tune of the music.

Geryon

Tale as old as magic

True as it can be

Barely even friends

Then somebody bends

Unexpectedly

Just a little change

Small to say the least

Both a little afraid

Neither one ready

The princess and the inventor

Ever always the same

Ever a surprise

Ever as before

Ever just as sure

As the sun will always rise

Tale as old as magic

Tune as old as song

Beautiful and strange

Finding we can change

Learning we were wrong

Certain as the sun

Rising in the east

Tale as old as magic, song as old as rhyme

The princess and the inventor

The lights dialed down from the wind making the area a little dark as the dancer can still see. Zero was at the window downstairs watching the most romantic moment.

Tale as old as magic, song as old as rhyme

The princess and the inventor

The two decided to sit down on a bench and hold hands under the starry sky. Geryon then wanted to ask Stella a question. "Stella?" he began. "Are you happy with me?"

Stella smiled before answering, "Yes." She then looked at the starry sky as Geryon looked worried.

"What's wrong?" Stella returned to gaze at Geryon desperately.

"If only there were a way to check on Octavia, just for a moment. Instead of calling her." Geryon sighed for a moment and then looked excited.

"There is a better way." Geryon got up as Stella followed him inside.

In Geryon's work room, he picked up an invention that looked like a small mirror and handed it to Stella. "This device will show you anything," Geryon explained. "Anything that you desire to see."

"I would like to see my daughter, please," Stella requested to the device as it began to shine. It revealed Stella being locked up in her room by Andrealphus and his security. Stella was shocked as Deryon looked at her with concern. "My baby! She's in trouble!" Deryon turned away to look at the flower in his jar, deep in thought. He then made a tough decision.

"Then...then you must go to her."

"What?"

"She is your family. Not mine. Go help her."

"Hold on, Octavia. I'm on my way." Stella attempts to give the device back to Geryon, but he insists on letting her hold on to it.

"Take it with you, so you'll always have a way to look back and remember me in your heart." Stella closed her eyes and sighed.

"Thank you for the kindness you have given me tonight, Geryon." Geryon looked down in depression. Stella kissed him on the cheek. He regretted letting her go at first, but it was for the best for her. His little ghost dog; Zero, floated in the room as Stella passed by. It had a look of concern and nudged its head on Geryon's shoulder then barked.

"I let her go." It barked again and then whimpered. "I had to, Zero. It's because I love her." Geryon then wiped off his tears and turned to his ghost dog. "Why don't you get some sleep, boy? I'll be fine for now." Zero nodded and then fled out of the room leaving his owner alone. Geryon then walked towards the glass jar flower and reflected on what he did. There were two more petals on it.

Geryon

No pain could be deeper

No life could be cheaper

No point anymore

If she can't love me

No hope she would do so

No dream to pursue, so

I looked to myself, despise all the things she has done

For I know that she

Has finally set me free

Let this be the end of me

Geryon collapses on the ground as he begins to cry.
