Stella arrived at the mansion when she saw her brother approaching as she made her way to Octavia's room. "What have you done with my daughter, you bastard?" she demanded.
"Only trying to protect her," Andrealphus said. "She tried to flee after hearing what I had planned for our family."
"What are you saying? What is going on?"
"I have plans for you. You will be arranged for another marriage. You will marry another nobleman."
"I'd rather die than marry someone I don't know."
"You're saying that you have found someone already."
"Yes. I have, but not a nobleman." Stella gazed at the device given to by Geryon and sighed. "Show me Geryon." The device glowed as she showed an image of Geryon working on a device at his home.
"The one from the party!" an imp employee said. Andrealphus grabbed the device and looked at the image. Other people came to see, but people were hesitant about what Stella's brother had planned.
"She also saved my daughter." Andrealphus chuckled as Stella's eyes widened.
"You really think he will be the one you love?"
"You don't have to approve, but yes. You are being paranoid." Andrealphus's eye twitched at the word.
"She is now as crazy as Stolas and Octavia. He would probably make something to enslave us all." Andrealphus's followers gasped at the thought. "He'll come after the children in the night."
"He would never do that!"
"Forget Octavia being the next heir. I say we kill this Geryon."
"Kill him!" the mob shouted.
Imp #1
We're not safe until he's dead
Imp #2
He'll come killing at night
Imp #3
Set to sacrifice our children
To his monstrous appetite
Imp #4
He'll wreak havoc in Hell
If we let him wander free
Andrealphus
Then it's time to take action here
It's time to follow me
Through the streets
Through the town
Through the darkness and shadows
It's a nightmare but it's one exciting ride
Say a prayer
And we're there
At an abandoned house
And there's something truly terrible inside
It's a peasant
He's got fangs
Razor sharp ones
Massive paws
Killer claws for the feast
Hear him roar
See him foam
But we're not coming home
Till he's dead
Good and dead
Kill the peasant
Stella stepped up and slapped Andrealphus in the face. "I won't let you go after him," Stella said.
"If you are not with us, you're against us," Andrealphus said. "Guards!" Some guards grabbed Stella and opened the door to Octavia's room.
"Get your claws off me!"
"We can't have them running off to warn this peasant." The guards threw Stella in the room and locked it up.
"Let us out!"
"We'll bring the whole mansion to this monster. Who's with me?"
"We all are, sire," an imp said as the others grabbed torches and armed themselves with weapons.
The Mob
Light your torch
Arm yourself
Andrealphus
Screw your courage to his sticking home
The Mob
We're counting on Andrealphus to lead the way
Through the streets
Through the town
Where within an old house
Something's lurking that you don't see ev'ry day
It's a peasant
One as tall as a mountain
We won't rest
Till he's good and deceased
Sally forth
Tally ho
Grab your sword
Grab your bow
Say a prayer and here we go!
The mob marched out of the mansion as Stella tried to break out of the room with Octavia. "I have to warn Geryon!" she said. "This is all my fault! Oh, Octavia, what are we going to do?"
"Now, now, mom," Octavia reassured. "We'll come up with something." Octavia looked around and then found a window next to her bed with no one watching it. "There!" Octavia pointed towards the window in the room.
"We need to find your father first. He can help us."
The mob led by Andrealphus continued to march towards Geryon's house through the town.
The Mob
We don't like
What we don't understand
In fact it scares us
And this monster is mysterious at least
Bring your guns
Bring your knives
Save your children and your wives
We'll save our city and our lives
We'll kill the peasant
Zero was sound asleep in the house until he heard chanting coming from outside. It yawned then flew towards the nearest window and noticed a mob heading this way. It growled and flew towards Geryon's room. Andrealphus stood in front of the mob and said, "Take whatever booty you can find. But remember, the peasant is mine!"
The Mob
Hearts ablaze
Banners high
We go marching into battle
Unafraid although the danger just increased
Raise the flag
Sing the song
Here we come, we're fifty strong
And fifty demons can't be wrong
Let's kill the peasant!
Zero barked with worry in Geryon's room where he looked at the flower. "Leave me in peace, Zero," he said. Zero flew towards Geryon and pushed him with its head to force him to look out the window to show him that there is an angry mob out there banging on the door. He was shocked to see them at his doorstep and turned to Zero. "Ready the defenses!" He ran down the stairs with Zero to hold the door closed with all he's got.
Kill the peasant!
Kill the peasant!
"I can't hold it for long!" Zero was working on the robots as Geryon held the door closed.
Kill the peasant!
Kill the peasant!
Geryon got pushed back by the banging on the door as Zero finished preparations. It barked as Geryon got up. "Very good. Let's just hope this isn't just random. Now hide while I handle the rest, Zero!" Geryon grabbed the hilt of his weapon and rushed back upstairs.
Kill the peasant!
Kill the peasant!
Kill the peasant!
The doors finally break down as the mob carefully enters the house. As everyone stepped in, some of Geryon's creations emerged from hiding and fought the mob leaving Andrealphus to search the house on his own.
Stolas was on the balcony after he noticed a mob left the mansion a few minutes ago. Octavia and Stella rushed to him as he turned to see them. "What is going on here?" Stolas asked. "I just saw a mob led by your brother, Stella."
"It's all my fault," Stella said. "I know you think I regret coming to you at a time like this, but I really need your help. My brother is off to kill Geryon!" Stolas's eyes widened at the news.
"Well, that's horrible news."
"He needs our help!" Octavia pleaded.
"You're right. We need to go to him and set things right. Come on!" Stolas ran inside while Stella and Octavia followed.
As the fight continued downstairs, Andrealphus entered the last room which was where Geryon was hiding in secret with his weapon in hand. He snuck up behind Andrealphus and attempted to strike with his weapon, but was grabbed by the arm as he knew where he was and what he was about to do. He then threw him out of the window and down to ground level where it began to rain. "Get up!" Andrealphus demanded. He then kicked Geryon in the gut. "Get up! What's the matter, inventor. Too kind and gentle to fight back?" Geryon looks down, ignoring him as Andrealphus draws his sword.
"No!" Stella shouted. Geryon looked up to see Stella, Stolas, and Octavia arrive at the scene.
"Stella?" Geryon said.
"No, brother. Please!" Andrealphus swings his sword down as Geryon activates his sword to block the attack.
"You want a fight? I'll give you one!" The two then proceeded to fight outside the house. Zero only watched from above the house barking to cheer Geryon on. Andrealphus kicked him far back, forcing Geryon to hide in the shadows.
"Come on out and fight!" Andrealphus shouted as thunder began to clash in the sky. "Were you really in love with my sister, Geryon? Did you honestly think she would love you when she had a family already?"
"That may be true, but in case you didn't forget, they are divorced!" Geryon was provoked enough and came out of hiding swinging his weapon at Andrealphus and continued their fight. He then got cornered at the fence.
"It's over, Geryon! You can't have my sister!" Anger came to Geryon as he delivered a heavy strike towards Andrealphus. He then kicked away his sword and pointed his weapon at his face.
"Go ahead, Geryon. Kill me! Right in front of the love of your life!" Geryon breathed heavily as he raised his weapon. Anger then began to melt off his face as the look of compassion returned. He deactivated his weapon and grabbed him by the throat.
"Get out!" Geryon shoves Andrealphus to the ground as Stella stands behind him.
"Geryon!" Stella shouted. Geryon turned to face Stella and smiled.
"Stella!" Geryon walked up closer to Stella as she reached her hand out to him. "Stella?" He then took Stella's hand and stared passionately at each other. "You came back!" Stella smiled as Geryon placed his hand on her cheek. However, the moment is interrupted when Andrealphus sneaks up behind Geryon and stabs him in the back with his sword. He gasped in pain as the blade got pulled out. Before Andrealphus could finish him off, a robot came out of the house and grabbed him by the throat. It then snapped his neck and threw him aside then walked back inside the house to round up the rest of the mob who decided to retreat from the house. Stella helped the injured Geryon to the ground after being stabbed in the chest by Andrelphus. He slowly opened his eyes to see her face and smiled. "You came back."
"Of course I did, you idiot," Stella reassured. "This is all my fault. If only I got here on time."
"It is probably better this way, Stella."
"No! Don't talk like that. You will be alright. We're together again. Everything will be fine. You'll see." Zero appeared out of nowhere and whimpered in sadness. Geryon placed his clawed hand on Stella's cheek and wiped off her tears.
"At least I got to see you one last time." Geryon's hand slowly dropped to the ground as his eyes closed. Stella couldn't believe it was happening. Her childhood friend has died right in front of her. She began to cry as she planted her head on his chest.
"No, no! Please! Please! Please don't leave me again! I wish I could tell you how much I love you." The last petal fell off of the flower in the glass jar as its glow began to fade. Octavia and Stolus arrived too late to help. Tears began to fall out of her eyes as Octavia hugged Stolas. Suddenly, the fallen petals began to glow blue and fly out of the glass jar, breaking it in the process. Stella heard the shattering glass and the petals flew outside and began to surround the dead Geryon. His body then began to float in the air as the petals began to heal his wound. Stella was amazed with the magic healing the only person she truly loved. His body glowed so bright as the sun and then faded to reveal Geryon's body descending to the ground by the magic of the flower. Zero barked and slowly flew towards his body to investigate with a sniff. He flew towards his face and sniffed when Geryon suddenly opened his eyes and gasped for air as he came back to life. Octavia rushed to his aid as Zero barked with joy. Stella could not believe what she witnessed as Geryon turned to face her. He then felt his body with concern.
"I'm alive? But how?" Stella rushed to Geryon with a tight hug. Octavia and Stolas stood back so she wouldn't ruin the moment. He then noticed the flower petals on the ground and realized what just happened. "Of course!"
"What?" Stella asked as she wiped off her tears.
"It is a magical flower you gave me years ago when we were kids, Stella. I don't know how it's possible, but-" Stella hushed him and smiled.
"It doesn't matter. Now, shut up and kiss me." Geryon smiled as he understood what she was saying.
"As you wish, my princess." The two then shared a kiss on the lips as Zero circled around the two with joy and the sun began to rise.
A few days later, Stella hosted a party for her and Geryon. He was concerned if Stolas should show since Stella and him had divorced. Stella didn't care if he showed up anyways and kissed Geryon on the cheek. The two then walked to the dance floor as the other guests watched them dance together. Octavia stood with Stolas as they watched the two. "Looks like the two are going to live happily ever after, huh dad?" Octavia asked.
"Of course, Via," Stolas said in agreement. "Of course."
"Does this still mean I have to visit you often?" Stolas laughed as he hugged his daughter and Stella and Geryon continued to dance. As the two danced together, he then realized something and had to ask.
"Why the sudden change of heart towards Stolas?" Geryon asked. "Even all the times you hated him."
"Because he brought you back to me, my love," Stella replied. "After all those years apart, we are together again. Till death do us part. But one step at a time, Geryon." Octavia walked up to the two as Geryon knelt down to hug her.
Chorus
Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as magic, song as old as rhyme
The princess and the inventor
Tale as old as magic, song as old as rhyme
The princess and the inventor
A camera was set up for Geryon, Stella, Stolas, and Octavia as the four took their positions for a royal photo. The cameraman snapped the photo as Geryon's new life with Stella had begun.
