A/N: I was reading the demigod diaries and came up with this idea.
Thalia would never forget when Halcyon, (son of Apollo with the gift of prophecy but was cursed and Thaila and Luke saved him) told them that Luke would betray someone and make a sacrifice. Thalia curses her younger self now for not having Halcyon tell them who he would betray. But her younger self could not even think of Luke doing something like that.
It is still hard now to think about. Her best friend (and sometimes a little more) Luke is crazy about trying to take over the Gods. She always knew that he didn't like them, she wasn't too fond of them either, don't get her wrong. But to go this far? To side with fucking Kronos no less.
But is it still Luke? Can she bring herself to fight him? SHE DIED FOR HIM AND NOW HE DOES THIS! But all the things he did for her. Just following her wherever. Did he always think like this?
She now wishes to shake herself to let Halcyon finish. But in the end Halcyon was right. No matter how much she tried to ignore the warning. Though when they were on the run, it would come back and she would tell herself to forget it would not happen. There is no way it could. Oh, how wrong she was. How naïve she was. Everyone has bad in them if you push hard enough.
Annabeth is in denial about it. Is she allowed to be that way too? Thalia mentally face palms herself. That would be like if she ignored a mass murder happened. She could never bring herself to care for him after what he has done.
Can she bring herself to hate him? Or will she instead of him following her, she will follow him to the other side of the war. . .
