Chapter 1

Perseus Achilles Jackson Perspective

The campers of Camp Olympus did not not want one person to be around them i.e. Perseus Achilles Jackson. Convinced by Annabeth Chase that he was a symbol of unnecessary war and all their losses, they turned on him.

Everyday at first, they would simply throw insults at him whenever they saw him, taking care to remind him of everything they had lost because of him be it family or friends. But to their dismay it did not phase him.

So they resorted to physical attacks ranging from throwing him stones, tampering with his food, waking up under water, waking up in the mud, or waking up with cuts.

That was it for him. Finding him in the lake healing himself, Serena a naiad took him to Atlantis, the water healing his wounds as they went. By the time they got there he was completely healed up.

He immediately told his father Poseidon, his stepmother Amphitrite and his step brother Triton that he would want to stay in Atlantis as he longer felt safe and welcome in Camp Olympus where he was now a pariah, telling him everything they had done to him, hence he wanted to stay in Atlantis permanently if he would let him while also promising to keep his distance from them i.e. Amphitrite and Triton and not cause any trouble for them. Plus he would not dare go near his mom Sally Jackson, her husband Paul Blofis nor his little sister Estelle because he felt that him being there could put them in serious danger by attracting monsters as well as his other numerous enemies; hence for him it was not an option.

The Atlantean royal made him a god with the assistance of the Fates. As a condition for accepting godhood, he made the Fates promise him on the river Styx not to interfere in his life anymore to which they grudgingly agreed, upset at the loss of such a powerful loyal asset. He chose to inherit his father's domains of:

1. Seas

2. Storms

3. Sea Creatures

4. Earthquakes

5. Depths

6. Horses

General Perspective

Afterwards all he did was eat, sleep, train by himself, repeat. Slowly he developed a cold emotionless personality that only receded when he was with his father.

The set of people to worry about this drastic change in Percy's personality were oddly Amphitrite and Triton. They had seen what the boy went through during the two wars coming to the realization that none of what happened was his fault and thus, were waiting for the right opportunity to make peace.

In fact Triton had seen all the cruel things that Percy Achilles Jackson his brother (note: no not stepbrother as his perceptions of him had changed, rather he would call him his brother) had gone through at the hands of the Campers. Even more than once overhearing Chiron telling Percy to run away in order to save his life.

He could not approach Percy despite that for fear of getting a negative reaction, after all they had not been on good terms particularly from his end.

They knew that the cold attitude he developed came about as a result of the aforementioned factors.

Seeing that he distanced himself from his mortal parents to keep them safe, Amphitrite knew he felt lost/alone and decided to feel that gap in his life by being his second mother. Moreover, there no allow his new cold attitude continue. He had broken the walls of nonchalance to mortal feelings around them that they had built over the years, showing them what a real family looked like (bless his mother for raising a good man). He had improved their lives by calling them out and chewing them for their mistake of negligence towards their children.

Therefore, there was absolutely no way she would allow him end up as unfeeling as they were previously before he came to them.

One person by the name of Annabeth Chase had caused this unwelcome change in Perseus. When they would get their hands on her, it would surely not be pretty.

They would have to tell the Olympian Council about Percy at a later date and time but they were content that they had him to themselves for now.
