Chapter 6:

Bella saw the texts in the group chat but continued changing into a black blouse, jeans, and then her boots and bracelet. After getting dressed she walked downstairs to see her dad and husband talking to Mr. Utterson and Professor Arronax in the living room.

The Professor was a fair skinned man with brushed back salt & pepper hair and mustache, and sea green eyes. Dress in a tweed suit with a sweater vest, and muddy fishermen boots. If Bella looked to her right she could see his black cloak. Mr. Utterson had an olive complexion with graying red hair and silver eyes. Instead of wearing his suits for court cases, he was dressed in a gray shirt, jeans, and black shoes. He had absentmindedly started to fidget with his cane as they continued talking.

"Morning everyone," Bella said, getting the attention from the four men.

"Morning Bells."

"Good morning darling."

"Good morning Isabella."

"Good morning Bella."

Bella walked over to the front door and opened it. In flew the rest of the team, well mostly Orlando, the others walked in calmly as they entered the living room with a questioning gaze, Mina walked in and hugged her younger sister.

"Oh come now," Arronax laughed, "if I and Mr. Utterson wanted to see Bella's ex either dead or getting punched; we'd have five sources to find out."

Skinner and Tom snickered as Nemo looked away sheepishly while Jekyll replied, "That's true."

"Besides," Utterson pointed out, "we're going to see him in three days. So I can wait till then."

"Ugh! Three more days?" Orlando groaned. "What are we all going to do till then?"

"Well," Bella says as Tom stood up, "my husband and I will be going now."

"Have fun you two," Mina says as she walks over to two men to ask how their trip went.

"Wait," Charlie says worriedly, "do you think it'll be safe for you two to go out with him being in town?"

"With an angry vampire family now discovering that he lied?" Tom asked with a knowing smile. "I think we'll be fine."

Charlie nodded as he said, "Have fun."

With that Bella and Tom went out for their date.

-Hours later-

Edork was glaring from the trees as his true mate walked down the street arm in arm with that wretched blond thief. However he can't go and save her since Jasper and Emmet were staying by his side with contempt. So all he can do is watch his precious Bella being tricked by this group of monsters.

He couldn't stop the two men from entering the Swan residence. Those men must mobsters or something, all he need to do is-

"Nothing."

Edork's eyes looked over at Jasper as he growled out lowly, "You ain't doing shit till Friday and even then you'll be only talking, like the rest of us."

Edork looked down at his feet to see a giant wolf head giving him the stink eye. So with one last glance at a dancing and laughing Bella, Edork ran back to his house with the wolf and his brothers on his heels.

-With Bella and Tom-

"Tom!" Bella said between laughs, "Stop that or I'll get dizzy!"

"Alright love," Tom hummed, pulling her to his side, "how are you feeling now?"

Bella sighed happily as she leaned against her husband as they walked down the street. She looked at the blond man with a blissful smile.

"A whole lot better now," Bella answered, "especially after seeing my ex again. And that we have to see him again."

"Well from the sounds of it," Tom pointed out, "they want to see the bigger picture of your breakup and apologize for leaving so suddenly."

Bella thought back to how the rest of the Cullens reacted to hearing Edork's side of the story and how Alice acted when she finally got to see her again. She nodded at the obvious points as Tom opened the car for her, after she got in Tom got into the driver's side and drove them back to Charlie's house.

"I do wonder what everyone did for the day," Bella wondered out loud. Tom laughed as he started throwing some harebrained schemes and overly wild ideas happening that was currently happening at her home. Bella was laughing so much throughout the drive only to calm down as they pulled into the driveway. As they parked they noticed Billy's car there as well.

Once inside they saw Billy waiting for them.

'Please for the love of everything,' Bella thought, 'if my ex or Jacob did something even more stupid, I'm going to commit murder.'

"What's wrong Billy?" Bella asked instead with a strained smile.

"Bella, Tom," Billy says, "we have a location set up for the meeting."

"Oh alright," Bella said with relief, "where is it?"

Billy looked frustrated as he tried to mull over how he was going to explain. Bella already knew where it was.

"Billy," Bella sighed, "please calmly explain why the meeting is taking place at the Cullen house?"
