"You're what?!" asked a ten-year-old Marinette who had been playing games with Adrien up in her room.

"I'm moving to America with my mom," said Adrien, who was sitting on the lounge chair and looking down at the floor.

"Why all of a sudden, is it because of the divorce?" asked Marinette.

"Yeah, she wants to get as much distance between my father and I as she can, so she wants to move to New York," said Adrien.

"When… when do you leave?" asked Marinette who had started tearing up and sat down next to him.

"Saturday," said Adrien while pulling her in for a hug.

"That's too soon," said Marinette while losing it and crying into his shoulder as she hugged him back.

"I'm sorry, Marinette," said Adrien who was also crying by this point. That Saturday night, after Marinette had seen Adrien off and was lying in bed, she woke up to a strange feeling in her right eye.

"What's going on?" asked Marinette while getting up and turning on the light. When she walked over to her mirror, she was shocked to see that her eye had turned green.

"What the… mom!" yelled the blue haired girl with panic.
