Sakura finally arrives at the hospital and runs into Shizune,

"Sakura?" said Shizune. "What are you doing here?"

"I have the afternoon shift," said Sakura

"hm, it seems that you haven't been informed yet," said Shizune

"What?"

"Your shift has been covered for tonight," explained Shizune. "Actually, it's been covered for at least a Month."

"WWhat?" responded Sakura. "How come?"

"Orders from the Hokage," said Shizune at that very moment. A hawk drops a letter on her.

Sakura, you are required for a top-secret mission. Please come to my office for more details,

Hokage Kakashi

"EEEh, well, that explains it," said Sakura. "That is a little disappointing" Sakura was hoping to stay in the village, at least while Sasuke was here, but it seems that it can't be helped.

"Hey Shizune, Can you deliver these flowers to the patient in room 305 for me? I have to go see the Hokage," said Sakura

"Of course, Sakura," said Shizune. Sakura handed the flowers to Shizune and headed towards the Hokage's building.

Sasuke had arrived at the Hokage office. He walks towards the door and knocks at it.

"Come in," a familiar voice said. Sasuke opens the door. While walking in, he sees his old teacher, looking drained from all the pile of paperwork on his desk.

"Did you get my report?" Sasuke asked

"Yes, I did," sighed Kakashi. He starts going through the pile of paperwork and grabs a file. He starts to skim through it. "I'll be sending someone to investigate it," Kakashi continues while going through the report, "The person I'm assigning this to will most likely need your assistance," Sasuke knew that this kind of mission would need someone with his skill.

Then Kakashi lifts his head to ask. "If you are willing, that is,"

Sasuke went through his thoughts about how he had just returned to the village and wanted to spend more time here. He also knows that this mission needs to be dealt with.

"You will be paid," said Kakashi.

Being paid right now seems like a wise choice for Sasuke. He is starting to run low on money. Which is also one of the reasons why he wanted to return to the village.

"I am willing. What are the mission details, and when am I leaving?" said Sasuke

"You will be leaving tomorrow afternoon," said Kakashi. "I'll explain more once your team member arrives."

"Tsk," said Sasuke, annoyed that he had barely anytime here. Kakashi understood that he may be annoyed at this.

"I know, it may be a bit disappointing after just arriving," Kakashi said in a sigh and then Kakashi attempted to lighten up the conversation and asked, "When did you arrive?"

"Last night," answered Sasuke.

"Ah, I guess you haven't had a chance to meet with Sakura yet?" asked Kakashi,

Kakashi has been kind of invested in the relationship between Sasuke and Sakura. He loves teasing Sakura about it. As everyone knows that Kakashi loves his perverted love stories. He reads his icha icha paradise books and all, but for him to play it out in real life is another thing.

"I'm staying at her house," said Sasuke.

This surprised Kakashi – 'damn, he moves fast. I didn't expect them to have such an intimate relationship already.'

"Damn, you already had your way with her," Said Kakashi matter-of-factly.

This surprised Sasuke and made him blush. Doesn't Kakashi know him well enough to know that he has no interest in rushing these things of this nature.

"Our relationship isn't of that nature," said Sasuke.

Kakashi going through his thoughts - 'what does he mean with that response? It would make sense that he wouldn't do something like that yet. But the way he said it sounded like he didn't want a relationship at all. Hmm, I need to push some buttons to get an answer.'

Kakashi started by saying, "Well, that would make her sad, knowing that is how you feel about her," Kakashi looked at Sasuke for any reactions.

Sasuke gets suspicious of Kakashi, 'What is he trying to do? I didn't say anything about how I felt about Sakura. What is he up to?'

"but it would make a lot of the men in the village happy," said Kakashi.

'yep,' Sasuke thought, 'Kakashi is trying to get some kind of reaction from me.

"She has defiantly grown into a beautiful woman," said Kakashi in a way that seemed he was talking to himself. Kakashi has watched Sakura throughout the years and noticed how much she has grown. He would admit that her looks and behaviour are more of a woman now than the young lady he once knew. If Sakura wasn't so devoted to loving Sasuke, he would consider asking her out if she didn't mind the age gap.

Sasuke is surprised by this response and starts questioning Kakashi's motive even more. 'Does Kakashi have a romantic interest in Sakura? What is his goal? Hmmm, maybe I need to provoke him to get a clear answer of what his intentions are,'

"You can have her," responded Sasuke "she would make you a great wife."

At that very moment, you could hear a loud CRACK!

Sakura arrived at the Hokage Building and headed towards the reception.

"Oh, Hi Sakura!" said the reception lady. "Kakashi is waiting to see you, and Sasuke is in there with him now, which means he can start the mission debrief,"

"Sasuke is part of the mission?" asked Sakura

"ah, yes," the reception lady said, smiling.

Sakura starts walking towards the office. When Sakura arrives at the door and she starts hearing Kakashi.

"Ah, I guess you haven't had a chance to meet with Sakura yet?" - 'Kakashi is asking about me.'

She started to control her chakra to conceal it. Inner Sakura 'What am I doing? The other one start. 'I want to know what they are talking about before I go in.'

"I'm staying at her house," Sakura heard Sasuke's voice. His words made her blush.

"Damn, you already had your way with her," hearing Kakashi implying that made her heart skip a beat.

"Our relationship isn't of that nature," said Sasuke – Sakura – 'Yes, we haven't done anything of that nature…wait, our relationship isn't of that nature….does that mean he doesn't what any form of a romantic relationship with me' this sadden Sakura.

"Well, that would make her sad knowing that is how you feel of her," began Kakashi,

Sakura- ' damn, Kakashi knows me well,'

"but it would make a lot of the men in the village happy," said Kakashi. Sakura has had a lot of young and old men asking her out. She has always said no.

"She has defiantly grown into a beautiful woman," continued Kakashi. Sakura had never considered that she was beautiful, more like scary and physical.

"You can have her," responded Sasuke

Those words hit her hard. It was like when Sasuke put a genjutsu on her with him stabbing her heart. Sakura had enough and started to grab the door handle, then she heard Sasuke continue.

"she would make you a great wife,"

Anger started to rush through Sakura – 'How dare he, thinking I'm something to give away,' all of her chakra ran down her hand, breaking the door handle and creating a loud crack sound.

At that moment, Sasuke could sense Sakura's chakra

Sakura walked through the door and stood right in front of Kakashi's desk next to Sasuke.

They both knew death was near.
