After the cake had been picked up, Marinette took Adrien up to her room.
"The place hasn't changed much," said Adrien.
"A few new mannequins but yeah, I really haven't changed my room much," said Marinette.
"I did notice that your eye has changed too thought, was it the same night I left?" asked Adrien as he picked up a ball of yarn.
"Yeah, and of course Chloe has been making fun of me because of it this whole time," said Marinette while looking over at her desk where she noticed two boxes sitting on it.
"I don't remember these being here," said Marinette while picking one of the boxes up.
"Maybe your parents left them here as a surprise for you," said Adrien while picking up the other box. When the two opened their respective boxes, two bright lights flew out of them and around the room.
"Feels good to be out," said Plagg while the lights faded, and he and Tikki hovered before their charges.
"You can say that again, Plagg," said Tikki.
"Ah, it's a mouse bug!" said Marinette as she fell backwards while pointing at Tikki.
"I'm not a mouse or a bug, I'm a Kwami," said a slightly angered Tikki.
"What's a Kwami, is it similar to a genie?" asked Adrien.
"We're much more powerful," said Plagg. Meanwhile, Hawkmoth had sent an Akuma out to Ivan.
"Why did I even bother?" asked Ivan while sitting on a bench in the park, holding a love letter in his hands. The Akuma landed on the letter and merged with it, creating the connection to the villain.
"Stoneheart, I am Hawkmoth," he said.
"And I shall grant you the power to get the girl you love, but you have to do something in return for me," said Hawkmoth.
"Whatever you want," said Ivan before transforming.
