Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I'm back with another chapter.

But before you all begin with this chapter, there is something that I would like to tell you all first.

You're aware that Saiki's VA is also Levi's VA, right? And just for a bit of fun on my side, I kinda decided that Yuki's VA, in my opinion, would be Petra's VA.

It may not suit my Character considering that she and Petra don't hold the same appearance. But like I said, I only said this because it's fun.

That is all I have to say for now, and as always. Enjoy the chapter!

Here's a Guide to the Dialogues of this story.

'~People's Thoughts~'

'Yuki'

'Saiki'

'Both of them'

Confrontation - But Recap Must Happened First!

"My Name is Yuki Hamada, and I hope we'll get along, Saiki-kun," Yuki introduced,

'Yeah, That's not going to happen,' Saiki said, 'Being close to a girl like her will only attract a lot of attention. That isn't something I don't want to happen,'

Yuki seemed neutral and returned to her seat. However, Saiki found something odd about her, 'That's strange, I can't read her thoughts. Is she like Nendou? No that isn't possible, she doesn't look dumb,'

As the second break period rolled in, Saiki was simply minding his own business at his desk before Kaidou came along.

When he overheard a conversation between Yuki and Misaki, he side glanced at the pair and eyed Yuki's sketchpad, 'She's drawing me? That's troublesome. Is she a weirdo? I don't think that's the case either. Or perhaps she's aiming towards me, Now that's a possibility,"

After Saiki left the classroom and went to a stall just next to a sobbing Kaidou, he crossed his eyes together to use Clairyovance when the situation escalated even further and that's when he saw Yuki holding her handkerchief towards the snake.

'Is she trying to play the hero? No, I think she's aware of how to handle this situation judging by how she's facing that snake,' Saiki concluded, then rubbed his eyes a couple of times, 'Maybe I should help her and put every bit of attention towards her'

Though that would never happen as Kaidou left the bathroom and went back to the classroom.

After the snake was properly disposed of, Saiki makes his way back to the classroom. But as he enters the classroom, he finds a small folded paper just sitting on his chair.

'What's this?' Saiki questioned as he grabbed the paper and used Psychometry,

What he sees was Yuki writing a small message on a small piece of paper, then she folds the paper, and places it on his seat after she returned.

'Great, I'm being targeted by a girl on her first day,' Saiki remarked rather bitterly, 'Although, It doesn't look like a confession letter. I might as well read what's in it,'

Saiki carefully unfolds the paper without people noticing.

The following message says: "Meet Me After School, Alone" as well as the spot where they'll be meeting.

'Okay, Now I'm starting to think this is some sort of confession letter...' Saiki declared,

After school was over, Saiki makes his way to said location and finds Yuki standing there all by herself.

"Ah, you've made it," Yuki said, "And here I thought you were going to make me wait an hour or two,"

'The sooner I get this over with, The sooner I get back home,' Saiki said,

"Not the talkative type, eh? In that case, I'll just jump straight to the point then," Yuki declared,

Then she crosses her arms together, and smirks at him, "I know you have powers of our own..."

Saiki slowly widens his eyes in shock while Yuki remains confident in her claim, '... What?'

After Yuki assumed that Saiki has powers of his own, his expression alone was enough to prove her assumption.

"I can see your eyes widening," Yuki commented, "Hence, I can tell that I'm right,"

Saiki blinks once, then frowns at her. Though Yuki still remains neutral to him, "Whoa, I didn't know you'd frown at me like that. But reassured, I won't tell anyone about it,"

Though Saiki remains a bit cautious, he eases down as he maintained his composure.

"Still silent, eh? In that case," Yuki then placed two of her fingers onto her right ear, then spoke once more, 'How about this then?'

Saiki twitched his eyes once more and was stunned to hear her voice within his mind. But because of this, he can finally ask her directly, 'How did you know?'

'Ah, so you can talk. Well, that makes things easier for me to explain things,' Yuki said, 'The reason how I knew you have powers is due to two separate incidents. The first is when Kaidou tried to protect me from that Snake with that made-up power move of his. I pat his head a couple of times and knew that he wasn't the source of the snake's untimely death. The second is when I touch the snake's chin with my thumb and found residue of your powers from the charred snake. Think of it as your fingerprints on your daily belonging,'

'That doesn't explain how you were able to do such things,' Saiki pointed,

'You should already know the answer to that question, Saiki,' Yuki stated,

Saiki cupped his chin and wondered about her background. She couldn't be a psychic since he would already know when they first met, but his only clue is that he couldn't read her mind when they first met.

A couple of minutes later, Saiki goes for one possible reason, 'You have powers of your own, Don't you?'

'I do, but not many. Just one power,' Yuki replied,

'One Power?' Saiki repeated,

'Yep, and if you want to know about that. Then I suggest you come to my house and I'll show you what I'm capable of,' Yuki said, then she slings her bag onto her right shoulder, and pats Saiki on his left shoulder with a smile, "I'll be looking forward to our meeting, Saiki,"

Yuki soon leaves the school grounds and Saiki watches her go. With curiosity still fresh in his mind, he is inclined to go to her house and learn more about her powers.

As soon as Yuki reached the school gates, she spots Misaki waving at her.

"You were waiting for me?" Yuki asked as she stood in front of her,

"Of course," Misaki said, "And I'd figured if we walk together,"

"Is your home far from here?" Yuki questioned,

"Not really, it's just a few turns and all," Misaki said,

"Well, okay then," Yuki replied,

The two then walked together, and Saiki standing a few feet away from the school gates. With Yuki walking alongside her new friend, he decided to follow them since he follows the same pathway to home.

However, he would keep his distance as he doesn't want to get their attention or possibly misunderstood himself as some sort of stalker.

As they continued their way back to their respective homes, Misaki suddenly gains a shiver on her back and instinctively turns around with a cautious look on her face.

When she saw no one behind her, Yuki speaks up to her, "Is there something wrong?"

"I could have sworn someone was following us," Misaki suspected,

"Really?" Yuki inquired,

"I'm pretty sure," Misaki said,

Yuki hums in suspicion, then uses her supposed power to locate this assailant. Once she fully focused her power on finding the culprit, she finds out that it was none other than Saiki. Whose seems to be invisible to the naked eye.

Yuki closes her eyes, and turns her head away, "You're probably imagining it, Let's just keep going,"

"R-Right," Misaki said, and continues her walk with Yuki,

'Why are you following us, Saiki?' Yuki telepathically questioned,

'I'm not following you. This is usually the way back to my house,' Saiki replied,

'Okay, just try to keep your distance from us,' Yuki said, 'Misaki is a very cautious individual. I learned this when I was in the middle of drawing her on my sketchpad,'

'Good grief...' Saiki muttered,

The events that followed involved Misaki constantly turning her head around whenever she feels like someone was watching her and Saiki did his best to stay out of her sight and his tolerance of the girl's cautiousness was reaching its peak.

Eventually, they soon stopped at separate pathways and Yuki spoke to her friend, "I'm afraid we'll be parting ways from here, Misaki,"

"But we'll walk together again tomorrow? Right, Yuki-san?" Misaki questioned,

"Should I ever catch up with you, we may as well," Yuki assured,

"In that case, I'll see you tomorrow!" Misaki said and went to the right,

Yuki waves back at her, and sighs before turning around, "You coming out, Saiki? She's gone now,"

Saiki soon reveals himself to her, "You can turn yourself invisible as well? That's interesting,"

With that, Saiki and Yuki decided to go together as they make their way back to their houses.

Coincidentally, they also find out that they live in the same neighborhood...

"Huh, Guess I'll be expecting you way earlier than I originally expected," Yuki commented,

'Indeed...' Saiki agreed,

The Following Day, Yuki was seen in the living room doing school work. Though the work wasn't from her high school. Rather it belonged to her sister's school as she needed some help with some of her homework.

Her sister in question is seen sitting beside Yuki. Her appearance consists of short white hair, blue eyes, a shirt with a small snowflake patch sewed just near her right sleeve, and some jogging pants.

This is Yui Hamada, an eight-year-old elementary school girl and the youngest member of the Hamada Family.

Her homework today consists of some English, and Social Studies. Yuki merely gave her sister the proper guidance and advice to solve these problems on her own and cheer for her succession.

"Is that all your homework for today?" Yuki questioned,

"Umu~" Yui responded,

"Good," Yuki said, then lifts Yui from the floor, spun around once, and gently lowered her to the ground, "Now let's go eat dinner!"

"Yeah!" Yui enthusiastically said while raising her fist in the air,

However, the two soon heard the doorbell and both turned towards the door.

"Who could that be?" Yuki asked,

She soon made her way to the door and opens it. In front of her was a young woman with short black hair and dark purple eyes. Her clothes consist of a light yellow sleeve shirt, and a black skirt.

"Hello," Yuki greeted while Yui peeked from behind, "May I help you with something?"

"Oh, I came here to see Miko if she's around," The woman said,

'How does she know my mother's name?' Yuki questioned,

"Sweetie, Who's at the door," a voice questioned,

Just behind the sisters was a woman with the same hair and eyes as the sisters, wearing a gardener's hat with a sunflower attached at the right side, a lemon yellow shirt, and thigh-length shorts.

This is Miyako Hamada, Mother of Yuki and Yui.

"Kurumi?" Miyako recognized,

Kurumi gasps as a clapped her hands together, "Miko-Senpai!"

Yuki's mother soon rushes toward Kurumi, and clasped her hands, "It's been so long,"

"Senpai?" Yuki repeated,

"Oh, it's what she calls me when we were in the same school," Miyako said,

"And Miko?" Yuki inquired,

"That was the nickname I got when I volunteered at a festival during my school years," Miyako explained,

"I still remember that moment until now," Kurumi followed,

"By the way, why are you here?" Miyako questioned as she lets go of her friend's hands,

"I came here to see you. It's been a long time since we saw each other in high school," Kurumi said, then turns to her friend's children, "Also, I heard from my husband that you were living here as well,"

"Speaking of which, would you like to come in? I would love to reminiscence the times we've spent together," Miyako invited,

"Why of course, but you wouldn't mind if I brought Ku-chan here as well?" Kurumi requested, and Yuki snickered to herself,

"Sure, and I think he and my children will get along well with each other," Miyako said,

With that Kurumi went to her house and returned a few minutes later...

Yuki widened her eyes when Kurumi's son, Ku-chan, was actually her pink-haired classmate from school, Saiki.

'It's nice to meet you again, Saiki...' Yuki said,

'And it's way earlier than I originally expected...' Saiki remarked,

After everyone was inside the house, Miyako handled the snacks and beverages while Kurumi explained a summary of her school life to three children in the room.

Yui was captivated as she imagined the tale when her mother performed a traditional folk dance at a festival. As for Saiki and Yuki, they were impressed but they keep their opinions to themselves.

"That's quite the story, Ms. Saiki," Yuki complimented, "I've learned so much about my mother now that you've told me all of this,"

'Normally, I'm not easily impressed. But being able to maintain an average lifestyle in her school despite the attention she could have gotten. I envy her,' Saiki admitted,

"Those were the days," Kurumi said, "But it was quite unfortunate that we couldn't spend another year together,"

"Why's that?" Yui curiously questioned,

"You see, your mother was one year ahead of me and enrolled in a university overseas," Kurumi said,

'You were born outside the country?' Saiki inquired,

'Yep, and I wasn't hiding this fact at all,' Yuki said,

'I didn't know. You blend well with everyone,' Saiki remarked,

"I was sad to see her go. But she encouraged me to not feel that way and treasured every moment we spent together before her departure," Kurumi said, sighing before pressing her own cheek, "Those were days..."

Miyako soon arrived at the living room with a tray carrying a large plate filled with homemade biscuits, a pitcher filled with fresh orange juice, and a few empty glasses.

"Here comes the snack train," Miyako announced,

"Yay! The Snack Train!" Yui cheered,

'Snack Train?' Saiki questioned,

'It's a term my mother uses when she's around Yui,' Yuki explained, 'And to be honest, I too get excited whenever she mentions it,'

'You're a bit childish, Don't you think?' Saiki remarked,

"Which reminds, what you two like for dessert?" Miyako questioned,

"I'm fine with anything. But Ku-chan would prefer to have Coffee Jelly for dessert," Kurumi said,

"Then, I'll go and get started on it," Miyako said,

Yuki was the only one to have noticed Saiki's body perking up when 'Coffee Jelly' was mentioned. Then she comments about his behavior while preventing him from reading her thoughts, 'Guess I'm not only one who can childish...'

While they wait for Miyako to finish making dessert, Kurumi went on about her stories with Yuki's mother while enjoying some biscuits provided to them.

Saiki liked the taste and flavor and it resulted in him taking a bit too much than regular as if he was having a bit of a carving sensation to her biscuits.

Sometime later, Miyako finally arrives with two glasses of homemade Coffee Jelly and places them down in front of Saiki and his mother, "Here's dessert,"

"Can I try some?" Yui requested,

"I'm afraid you can't, Yui," Miyako said, and "Caffeine is something you shouldn't try just yet. But once you're all grown, I promise that will make one just for you,"

"Okay!" Yui agreed,

Meanwhile, Yuki was next to Saiki as he stared at his glass of Coffee Jelly. He then grabbed the small spoon that was provided and takes one scoop from the glass.

'Are you analyzing my mother's dessert, Saiki?' Yuki questioned,

'It looks nothing like the ones in cups. But since it was made for me, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it' Saiki then puts a spoonful of Miyako's coffee jelly into his mouth,

The moment Saiki tastes the Coffee Jelly inside his mouth. His eyes widened before cooing over the sweetness and mixture of Miyako's Homemade Coffee Jelly. In fact, he looked rather pleased compared to his apathetic expression.

'Your Mother is an Angel...' Saiki commented,

'I'm so glad you liked it,' Yuki said,

While Kurumi and Miyako spent time together in the living room and Yui listened into them. Yuki escorted Saiki into her room where they would proceed with their private conversation.

With the door shut, Yuki pulled a chair where Saiki can sit on and the former sat by the foot of her bed.

"So, you want to know what my power is?" Yuki asked,

'Yes,' Saiki replied,

"I will tell you. But, you tell me your powers is," Yuki offered, "What do you say?"

'Since you swore to not tell anyone and for your mother's generosity with sweets. I will tell you all about my powers as well,' Saiki swore,

"Good enough, now let's begin with the basics," Yuki declared,

Saiki remained seated for a while, but he then momentarily felt the room shake before glancing around in utter confusion.

Yuki remained neutral as ever, stands up from her bed, and went to her door.

When she opened the door, Saiki widen his eyes as what he saw was not the hallway of the second room. But another room with wooden floorboards is the only thing visible and the very end of the room is nowhere in sight.

"Step right in," Yuki said as she gestures her hand to the door,

At first, Saiki was hesitant. But as he wanted to learn more about her power, he agrees to her request and went inside the dark room.

Yuki soon follows him and closes the door behind her...

That is it for this chapter, everyone. As for what comes next, It'll be a demonstration of Yuki's power.

Though it may be complicated to explain once I've worked it all out. I will try to provide the simplest of explanations for all of you to understand.

Other than that, stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all in the next chapter!
