A cool breeze began to blow on Madison's face. She tried to cover herself from the cold air but realize that the comforter was not on her. Madison slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was outside in the alleyway.

Madison looked around to see her surroundings and notice a suitcase beside her that has her name. She even notices that she was wearing a brown jacket with a brown shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and her blue necklace was still around her neck.

"Where-where am I?" she wondered to herself.

She slowly got up as she grabbed the suitcase and leave the alley. Madison looked at the town as walked down the sidewalk, wondering where she is until she spotted a newspaper lying on the floor.

Madison picked it and read the article saying what the news were but to her surprise was that she's in Brantford, New Hampshire but to her shock was that she saw the date of the year.

'1995?! Have I time traveled? I would have been or almost be a year-old back at that year since I was born in 1994.' she thought to herself as she put the newspaper in the trash bin. She continues to walk as she was trying to think but then it hit her as she remembered.

She looked down at her necklace as she touched the gem.

'Of course. You brought me here. I'm actually in the Jumanji movie. And the year in 1995 was that Alan Parrish have been disappeared for twenty-six years since 1969.' she thought again, 'Now I know what to do, is to be with Judy and Peter, but the question is, how will I meet the kids?'

Madison kept on walking until she stopped as she spotted something on the pole that she walked past. She went back and saw an ad on a paper saying: 'Nanny for hire. Come for an interview at Jefferson Street at the old Parrish mansion.'

"That could work." she whispered to herself and grabbed the ad off of the pole. 'I could be as a nanny and meet the kids only the problem is, how will I find my way to get to the mansion?' she thought and continued walking.

"Excuse me, do you know where...?" Madison was about to ask one of the people, but they walked past her. 'Rude!' she thought to herself about them.

"Excuse me miss?" a voice asked.

Madison turned around and saw a cop, but she knew that familiar cop character from the movie.

"Yes?"

"You look a little lost and you were about to find something."

"Yes, I just arrived here in town and trying to find a job until I found this." she answered as she showed the cop the add, "I'm trying to find that place."

"I know where that is. I've drove there a couple of times. It's not that far from here. Just a few blocks over there and you'll get there." said the cop as he pointed to a direction.

"Thank you." said Madison as she was about to walk but the cop stopped her for a moment.

"If you want, I could give you ride."

"Oh, that won't be necessary officer, I can walk there." said Madison.

"Please I insist." he said.

Madison looked at him for a moment and then spoke, "Okay. Sure. Thank you, Officer..."

"Carl. Carl Bentley." he spoke to her.

"Thank you, Officer Carl." she said with smile and got in the police car with him.

A few blocks, Carl kept on driving while Madison looked at the houses. She watched every house and car that she went pass by until she spotted a very certain house.

"Here we are miss. The old Parrish place." he said to her.

"Thank you for the ride, Officer." she said as she opened the door.

"Anytime miss." he said.

As Madison got out of the police car with her suitcase, she watched Carl start the engine drove by and Madison waved goodbye to him until she turned around.

Madison looked at the mansion, seeing how old it was with dirt and vines covering the mansion. This was it, the Parrish mansion. Madison inhaled and exhaled her breath and starts walking towards it. She got close to the door, feeling nervous but starts knocking on the door.

She waited for a couple of seconds until the door have opened and revealed a woman, that she recognizes, named Nora Shepherd.

"May I help you?" she asked.

"Hi, I'm... here about this ad of hiring a nanny?" said Madison as she showed her the ad on the paper.

"Ah, yes. Of course. I forgot about that. Come in please." said Nora as she let Madison in the house.

"Thank you." she said.

Madison looked at the place and saw that it was all messy, but some parts were cleaned as Nora was working on the house.

"Whoa. This place looks a bit of a mess here." she said.

"Yes. No one has been living here and it's being like this ever since in the past twenty-six years ago."

"Twenty-six years? Did anyone else lives here before you?"

"So far from what I heard, there was a family but gone for some reason." said Nora, "Now then, shall we start with interview?"

"Yes, of course." she said and follows Nora.

Nora led Madison to the living room, the room was filled with leaves and the sofa and chairs were covered in sheets. The two sat down and looked at each other.

"So, miss, can you tell me your name, age and what state you are from?" Nora asked.

"My name is Madison, I'm 27 years old, and I'm from West Virginia." she answered.

"West Virginia. It sounds like a happy place. I never been there before." said Nora.

"From a town where I've lived, it's nice and peaceful." said Madison.

"Great! So, Madison. Do you have any experience with looking after kids?" she asked.

"Well, I have been looking after my young cousins and also been helping my mother around at a preschool. Watching them and playing with them." she answered.

"Wow. Sounds like you do take a lot of good responsibilities for your family." said Nora.

"Yeah. While I continue on, why don't you tell me about your kids?" Madison asked.

"Of course. I have a niece and a nephew; their names are Judy & Peter. They're also my brother's kids." she said.

Madison looked at her as she a sad expression on her face.

"What happen to your brother?" she asked in wonder.

"Car accident in Canada. He and his wife were supposed to have a holiday there."

"I'm so sorry."

"No. You don't have to apologize, Madison. You weren't there at that time. I'm the only family relative that Judy and Peter have left."

"I see. Are they here now?" she asked.

"Not really. They're at school on their first day. They won't be home until dinnertime."

"Oh."

"I hope they'll be okay. Not since last night when Peter said that he saw a bat at the attic, and I got a fright of hearing a scary sound of it before shutting the door so quickly."

"A bat?" Madison asked as she looked at her.

"I'd called the exterminator to check it out, there was no sign of it, and he found nothing. I guess it must've decided to fly off somewhere else. Not that I didn't want to say this to scare you, Madison."

"No, of course not."

"Anyway... Since you're the first person to ever come to interview to be the nanny, it's your choice if you either accept or refuse, Madison. I'm not gonna stop you from making a choice. What do you say?"

Madison thought for moment, she has to get close to the kids and the game. That is what her adventure is so...

"I accept the job ma'am." she answered.

"Great!" Nora spoke with a smile, "Why not I show you to your room?"

"Sure." she answered.

"You must be very tired after travelling from West Virginia and all the way here."

"Indeed, I have." she said.

Nora got up from the couch as Madison follows her upstairs and then she found a spare room, which will be her guestroom to spend the night. Nora opened the door and showed Madison the room as she went in.

"Here's the guest room. This is where you'll be sleeping and rest here." said Nora.

"Thank you, uh... Sorry, I don't believe I've ever got your name."

"Oh! My name is Nora Shepherd. Please call me Nora."

"Thank you, Nora. I'm sure I'll be more comfortable."

"Then I'll leave you to settle." she said and close the door.

As Nora was gone, Madison placed her suitcase on her bed and open it. She looked and only to see some set of clothes, hairbrush, toothpaste and a toothbrush. She then started to look around her room and open some doors. One was a closet, and the other was a bathroom.

'This would do just fine until it'll gets destroyed. I wonder how the kids would react when they meet me as their nanny?' she thought.
