On The Road Chapter-2
"Naruko, look!", Hinata said while showing Naruko a video.
"No way! They are twerking? Send it to me please.",
Naruko exclaimed as she showed Hinata's phone to Sasuke.
"I'm driving, idiot.", Sasuke said blocking her with one hand.
"it's red now, idiot, it won't take too long.", Naruko said shoving the phone infront of him, showing the short video.
They already left the city and the road was now almost deserted. Sasuke gave a glance and he recognised the two girls in the video.
"Sakura and Ino?", He asked surprised.
"Yep.", Naruko confirmed,"Those two."
"They had hots for you back then in high school, did you know that?", She mentioned.
"More like harrassing me, they were so annoying.", Sasuke replied mentioning those times when they wouldn't stop quarreling everyday.
"I bet you regret not having them around now.", Naruko said giving back the phone to Hinata.
As the light became green, Sasuke started driving.
"You two wouldn't be here enjoying their videos.", Sasuke replied. Then he checked the AC. 'Is it broken? The air is blowing though...', He thought to himself.
"Did you put the AC? It's still hot here", Naruko said taking off her shirt.
"It's on.", Sasuke replied.
As Naruko was taking her shirt off, Hinata started to get flustered, but Sasuke silently called her. They looked at each other through the rearview mirror. Sasuke unbottoned his shirt a little while pointing at Naruko with the movement of his eyes.
'This is your chance', he told her symbolically.
Hinata understood what he meant and shook her head in a negative response.
Naruko finished taking off her shirt nonchalantly showing her black bra to the others.
Hinata avoided looking at her, while Sasuke tried to give another eye-contact to encourage her.
Naruko grinned and asked Hinata, "Why don't you take off your shirt too, Hinata?"
"W-well...I-i don't th-think…", Hinata stammered a response failing to find a valid excuse.
"Do you want a little help?", Naruko asked her in a suggestive tone.
"Heh?", Hinata gasped.
"Don't worry, I'm sure Sasuke is too much focused on driving to notice it", Naruko whispered into her ears.
Sasuke mind was repeating this like a mantra, 'Don't look. Focus on the street'.
Naruko stepped back while Hinata remained quiet until she started taking off her shirt.
Her breasts were so big they were obstructing the complete release of her cloth, until they bounced alternated his focus on the drive and taking a glance on the mirror.
Naruko, surprisingly, noticed it and teased him, "Enjoying the show, Sasuke?"
"Don't worry, I'm driving...get comfy", Sasuke replied clearly struggling to not look back.
Naruko got close to Hinata again while teasing, "See? He doesn't mind".
It was Hinata's moment to play her cards, so she tried to imitate her playfulness.
"He said to get comfy...", she said as shaked her big breasts left and right in front of her crush while giggling.
Naruko giggled back as Sasuke thought 'Nice move Hinata...Focus on the street. Focus on the street. Focus on the street'.
As the girls kept giggling at each other, Naruko suddenly took off her seatbelt.
Sasuke slowed down as a precaution, while she sat in top of Hinata and gave her a small peck on her neck. Hinata's courage suddenly vanished and her face started turning crimson.
"N-Naruko...I...I...", She stammered wasn't unsure if it was the right moment or not.
"I know Hinata", Naruko told her.
"Huh? R-really?", Hinata asked Naruko, shocked.
"I feel the same…", Naruko added.
"HUH?", Hinata replied with her getting overwhelmed with emotions.
"I can't breathe...", Naruko's tone changed as said that.
"Heh?" Hinata asked as her emotions froze in confusion.
"SASUKE, OPEN THE DAMN WINDOWS ALREADY", Naruko shouted at him.
"YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOUT IDIOT", Sasuke shouted back.
As they started quarreling about the broken AC, Hinata laughed hard. So hard to the verge of tears.
The only kinds of tears she allowed herself to drop in that situation.
The Gas Station
The trio reached a gas station hoping to repair the AC.
As the girls already changed their shirts while they got out of the car and got greeted by a noisy whistle.
"That's quite a view we got here", An old, yet tall and muscular black man approached them.
"How can I help you ladies?", he said with a grin and open arms.
The girls felt uneasy and didn't say anything to him. From behind, Sasuke put himself between them, gently grabbed them and put his hands on their waists. The girls were surprised, but also felt safe. They remained quiet as they looked at the desolated place. The Gas Station had an aura of old style. Besides that, there was only a workshop and another building at the other side of the road.
"I was hoping you could take a look at my car", Sasuke told the man in a cold tone.
Sasuke and the man kept eye contact for a bit.
The man then chuckled and presented himself to Sasuke, "Name's Ay, and this is my domain".
He added an ample gesture of his arms, indicating the gas station and the workshop.
Then he pointed at the opposite side of the road and informed him, "My friend over there has a nice café, you girls might wanna take something to drink while the men talk business.". He then took a towel and started washing his hands on it. The girls took the opportunity and left them alone.
Ay, who was watching the two from behind told Sasuke with a smile, "Those girls sure are fine, you've got yourself lucky, young man.".
"You better be careful on your next words", Sasuke warned him.
"Or what? No need to worry, young man. My tool's off-duty anyway, if you know what I mean?", Ay told his client.
Sasuke remained silent as a sign of respect.
"But this girl...", Ay chuckled as he touched the car. "Ohhh the things she can do under my care... What do you need?", He asked him.
"The car is fine, but the AC suddenly broke, but we don't have much time...", Sasuke stated to him.
"The AC? In a day?", Ay repeated to Sasuke.
"More like a few hours, actually", Sasuke said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I said I can do wonders, but I can't do miracles...Mister?…" Ay asked his name while extending one hand for the keys.
"Sasuke… will you give a check for me?", He said handing the keys over.
"Come back in an hour, Mister Sasuke. I'll do what I can. Have fun with the girls in the meantime.", Ay told Sasuke with a chuckle while Sasuke headed to the café without saying anything.
At the café
"Oh, noble knight, thank you for saving us", Naruko mocked Sasuke for his previous behaviour. "Is there any way I can repay for your courage?", she continued improvising a new act between a knight and a princess.
"I simply followed orders of my queen", Sasuke mocked back refering to Kushina.
"Could you stop thinking about my mom for 5 minutes?", Naruko yelled in anger while Hinata laughed at her.
"Naruko, four words ", Sasuke started to say something that will make her mad.
"Don't you dare". Naruko warned as she knew what he was going to say.
"YOUR"-1
"Stop it", Naruko tried.
"MOM"-2
"Don't say it.", She tried again.
"IS"-3
"I swear I'll kill you", She threatened but it didn't work either.
"HOT"-4
Naruko then started making grumbling noises just to shut him up.
"Thank you…", Hinata simply told him.
Sasuke took some time before answering, "No problem.".
They kept silently drinking in a corner table of the café, completely invisible to other customers.
Then Naruko had an idea and whispered into Hinata's ear, "Let's give him a reward".
Naruko grinned while Hinata, after looking at Sasuke, nodded. Naruko then left the table to order something else. Sasuke and Hinata kept drinking in an awkward silence.
Sasuke broke the silence with a compliment, "You were… very bold...back then… I think she liked it.".
Hinata blushed and replied, "I thought she was going to confess to me before...I'm still crying inside right now".
Sasuke promised while sympathizing with her, "I'll make sure you have some time alone. I know you're ready for that step".
Hinata smiled and thanked him, as Naruko came back with an ice cream.
"I don't want an ice cream", Sasuke told Naruko bluntly.
"Ooh, I'm pretty sure you're gonna love this one", She replied as she sat beside Hinata while
Sasuke sat on the opposite side of the table. The cone stood on the table with a supporting base between the girls. From Sasuke's perspective, he noticed that it had at least 3 flavours. Hinata started guessing where this was going and blushed again.
"It must've been so much hard for you to focus on the drive back there, isn't it Sasuke?",
Naruko told him in a teasing voice while looking at Hinata.
"And you were also...so...brave...back there too.", Hinata said mentioning what happened a few minutes ago.
Sasuke lightly shook his head at Hinata in sign of disapproval, but she winked at him instead.
Sasuke didn't know is she was serious or she just taking another opportunity to impress Naruko somehow.
"Hinata, I think it's too big for me...wanna help me out?", Naruko said as she started licking the ice cream from her side.
Hinata answered in a sexy manner as she started licking as well: "It's... so...tasty". She was more interested on Naruko's tongue rather than the ice cream flavour.
To make this more sexually suggestive, Naruko started to hum loudly. Sasuke interrupted her noticing that she was too loud, "People can hear you, idiot."
"He's right", Hinata said whispered to Naruko, "Let's keep it quiet…".
Naruko grinned and agreed. Then she gave the ice cream a smooch. Hinata was more delicate, but she made the same sound while eating the ice cream.
'This isn't helping at all, Hinata', Sasuke thought to himslef as the smooching continued. He had to close his eyes and take a deep breath. The action brought no effect as it was even worse as the girls' smooching sounds gave him ideas. The ice cream was almost finished and Hinata took all those indirect kisses of the girl she was in love with.
The girls stopped when the ice cream was level up to the cone as they giggled. Before they could start savouring the cone as well, Sasuke decided to put an end to this. He took the remained cone and ate it in a few big crunching bites. It was the only thing he thought it could break the mood. Hinata was silent, maybe a little bit surprised.
"Oh come on.", Naruko pouted at him.
"He must have finished with the car. Let's go.", Sasuke brushed off her complaits with this.
He went ahead in order to avoid looking at them from behind.
'This isn't good.', Sasuke though to himself as he was on a breaking point.
'I swear if they keep doing that, I'm gonna slap their...No. No. Stop thinking about it.', Sasuke told himself taking deep breaths. He lost count of how many times he did it that day to calm himself.
He didn't want to cross the line, not with his friends at least, no matter how suggestive they were.
As he got closer to the gas station, he noticed Ay was bringing back his car from the workshop.
"Well, Mister Sasuke, I have a good news and a bad news", Ay greeted him with this statement.
"Start with the bad one", Sasuke said coldy. He actually didn't know how to behave in front of him anymore.
"The AC is indeed broken and I can't fix it in a day. As I said, I can't do miracles.
It can be substituted, but it'd take days before I can put a new one. You'll have to do it in town.", Ay told him.
"What's the good one then?", Sasuke asked.
"Can't you guess?" Ay chuckled with that question.
Sasuke understood what he meant, since he was looking at the girls getting in the car.
"Nah, just joking...", Ay said as he got back. He didn't want to upset his client again.
"I did a complete check up on your girl. Everything's in order. You just have to keep the car windows open for the rest of your travel.", He explained.
"...How much is it?", Sasuke asked him wanting to leave soon.
"Well, how about this? The checkup is on the house if you refuel and listen to one advice this old man wants to give you", Ay told him.
Sasuke nodded, ready to listen to him.
"You live only once and youth will always be too short. Luck and health are on your side as well. Don't waste it all for some fucked up shit.", Ay stated.
Sasuke simply nodded trying to not show pity as it might've upset the old man. He simply nodded again in respect. He then refueled, paid for it and left the gas station.
Hyuuga cottage
The trio just finished taking the camping equipment from the Hyuuga cottage when a fancy car arrived.
"It can't be…", Hinata said as she recognized who was inside.
Her father Hiashi came out with her sister Hanabi, accompanied by a bodyguard.
Hiashi told the other two to get back inside, "This won't take long, keep the car ready to go.".
The driver nodded at his master's orders. Hanabi, from the distance, whispered an apology to her sister. Then she obeyed to her father while keeping a window open to hear the conversation.
"I think it's time to stop this, Hinata.", Hiashi told her, declaring his intention to take her back home.
"How...did you find me, Father?", Hinata asked hiding her discomfort.
"The phone…He must have tracked you with it, Hinata", Sasuke told her without a flinch.
Hiashi clapped his hands and mocked him, "Nice deduction, detective."
Hinata was now getting angry.
"It's only natural for a prestigious family to keep track of their members. It's for their safety after all.", Hiashi explained, hoping to make Hinata calm.
"What about making your brother a scapegoat for someone else's crime? Was that also for his safety?", Sasuke retorted mentioning the casus belli between the two families.
"You better shut your mouth, Uchiha Sasuke.", Hiashi warned him.
"And what does it have to do with us? We're just taking a vacation between friends…", Naruko tried to reason with Hiashi.
"It is much more than that…", Hiashi stated as he glanced at her daughter's friend, without even mentioning her name. Naruko looked down at the ground.
"On this we agree, Father.", Hinata replied as she stood in front of him.
"You know I only want the best for you, Hinata.", Hiashi said as he tried to reason with her.
"I know what it's best for me. It's my choice. It's my life. And I'm sick of repeating it.", Hinata replied. The tone in her voice was evident to say that she was furious.
"And what did you choose? Look at them! An athlete, maybe olympic, maybe not, that will probably take her mother's small business. And, of all the Uchihas you could choose to mingle with, you chose an outcast that decided to follow his foolish dreams of justice.", Hiashi stated as he tried to dispute Hinata.
"At least her 'companies' take responsibilities for their crimes...", Sasuke taunted him.
Hiashi clenced his fist as he warned Sasuke, "I think I told you to shut up, this is about me and my daughter.".
Sasuke was about to take a step towards them, but Hinata shook her head while looking at him.
"Hinata, I know you enjoy your time with them, but you can have so much more…", Hiashi started to reason with her.
"I know your idea of what is best for me. You want me to frequent rich people and hopefully find a suitable husband and live the rest of my life in luxury.", Hinata stated, clarifying the current state of play.
"And you have no idea of how many times I have to discuss with the rest of the family about giving you a choice. They simply want you to get married each time a proposal shows up. I stopped counting of how many times this happened. Same goes for Hanabi, so that makes it double. You know why i keep saying no everytime? ", Hiashi yelled.
Hiashi caught his breath and regained his composure with a cough. He continued, "Because I want you to choose who you want to marry, but you can't do that if you keep...wasting time…".
"Waste of time? What makes you say that? Their families? Their income? They are so much more, father, and I…", Hinata told him in verge of tears but she held them back. "They are precious to me...more than anything a rich guy can offer. My friends are not a waste of my time. I love them for who they are.", She told him.
With this, Hinata started walking back to Sasuke's car.
"HINATA HYUUGA, THIS IS MY LAST WARNING", Hiashi shouted from behind her.
"ENTER THAT CAR...and I disown you." He warned her as he lowered his voice.
Hinata stood where she was in silence. He never threatened her to that extent before. Her choice was obvious, but she still faltered. She looked at her friends in the eyes. Her choice was obvious when she looked at Naruko. There was only one thing she was going to regret. She took her phone and texted "I'm sorry" to her sister Hanabi. Then, she threw her phone towards her father with all her strenght. Hiashi caught her phone with ease. His bodyguard got out of the car and approached them.
"It's fine...It's fine." Hiashi told him as he stopped him with a gesture.
"We're leaving.", He ordered him to go back in the car.
Hiashi had one last word with Hinata, "You'll regret this someday…".
Hanabi remained silent, she wanted to say goodbye, but didn't want to infuriate her father even more. She also felt guilty for what just happened. She mentioned about her sister's trip and who was with her. She should've kept it secret, or should've given vague answers. She read the message from Hinata, but she couldn't even reply on that anymore. The only thing she thought she could do was to make her father reconsider later. But for now, she could only remain silent and leave with her father, as she closed her window.
The trio left as well. Inside the car, the air was still heavy for what just happened.
Naruko, who had remained speechless so far, tried to apologize, "Hinata I…".
Hinata stopped her, "No, don't...I'm just...tired, that's all.". Naruko nodded at her with a sad smile.
Sasuke tried to lighten the mood by changing the subject: "It'll take a few hours to get there. You two can rest in the meantime.".
Hinata nodded as she lied down in the back seats, putting her head on Naruko's lap. Naruko leaned her head on the window. Everything became calm for the rest of the travel, as they safely reached their destination.
