Madison was sort of an early person. Always wake up at a time like five or six a.m. (seven be a rare time to wake up). She slowly opens her eyes to see that the sky is a bit dark, but the clock says 5:30. She let out a yawn and a stretch of her body, but she notices that she doesn't hear the drums banging.

At least it's a good thing but soon it will be. Madison got out of the bed, grabbed a set of clothes she plans on wearing and head to the bathroom. Moments later, after Madison was all cleaned up, she got out of the bathroom and was dressed up in a black tank with her brown jacket, blue jeans, and she was now putting her sneakers on.

Madison looked at the clock to see that it was now 5: 50. She don't know what to do next. In 1995 they don't have iPhones or the laptop she has in her timeline. She was bored until she decided to have a look around the house as she exits the room.

Down the stairs, Madison starts wondering around looking from room to room. She spotted certain familiar rooms that were set in the scenes very soon. As she was about to head back to the stairs someone spooked her. It was Nora.

"Maddie, you scared me." Nora whispered.

"Sorry, but you scared me." she replied.

"You're up early."

"I'm... always an early person at times."

"I'm just about to head to the kitchen for coffee. You want one?"

"No thanks. I don't drink coffee." Madison replied.

"Oh well, we do have orange juice."

"That I could drink." she said and the two head towards the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Madison have already drunk her orange juice while Nora was still sipping hers. She starts helping her out with breakfast for Judy and Peter, but Nora stopped her for a moment.

"Madison, why not you wake the kids up?" Nora asked as she put bread in the toaster.

"Sure." she answered and exit the room.

Madison went up the stairs and came upon to one of the bedrooms. She opened the door and saw an empty bed. Madison realized that the room belonged to Judy and knew exactly where she is. She walked to another bedroom and opened the door. In the room, she saw Judy and Peter huddle together in the bed. Madison smiled at the sweet moment of seeing the two siblings and then decided to wake up.

"Kids. Kids, wake up." she spoke softly to them. "Breakfast is almost ready."

The kids moan and slowly open her eyes. The looked at Madison and slowly closed their eyes.

"Come on guys, it's time to wake up. Another day for school." she said.

"Alright. I'm getting up." said Judy and slowly sat up.

Peter yawn and slowly got up.

"You two better be ready or else the food gets cold." said Madison and left the room.

Moments later after breakfast, Madison helped Peter put his backpack on while he was eating toast with jam and Judy was putting hers on. Madison saw Nora go down the stairs as she was wearing the iconic black beret hat, red coat, black glove, black tights and boots. Madison already knew that Judy and Peter are wearing the iconic outfits from the movie.

"If I get held up at the permit office, I'll give you a call. School bus should be here

any minute." she said to as she walked past them.

Suddenly, Madison heard the drums banging again. It was now happening. She even notices that the kids are looking up at the stairway. Nora turned and faced them.

"You guys still have your house keys?" Nora asked as she looked at the kids.

Madison looked at them and they were still looking up.

"You guys listening to me? HelIo? Hello?"

"Judy, your aunt is talking to you." said Madison as she spoke to the girl.

Judy snapped out of it and looked at her aunt. "What?"

Nora looks at the kids in concern. "Maybe l should wait with you till the bus comes.

Did your parents used to put you on the bus?"

"No." Judy replied until the drums stopped banging.

"Are you sure? I could drop you off."

"No, don't worry about us. The bus will be here any minute."

"Okay. Please be good today. Maddie, will you be alright alone in the house?" Nora asked.

"Don't worry about me, Nora. I'll be fine." she replied.

"Okay." said Nora and she walked off.

As Nora finally left, Judy turned her head and saw Peter and Madison looking up at the stairway.

"You do hear it." she said as she looked at her brother.

"Hear what?" Peter spoke as he turned.

That was the first thing Madison heard from Peter, but she doesn't want to say anything to him until they heard the banging sound again and the kids dashed up the stairs.

"Guys, wait!" Madison hollered as she follows them.

The kids made it to an attic as they entered, and Madison finally caught up with her. All three heard how loud drumming sounds as Judy and Peter dropped their backpacks to the floor.

"Where's it coming from?" Judy wondered.

"I don't know but it sounds louder than before." said Madison.

"You heard it too?" Peter asked and Madison nod her head.

The three starts to wonder around, Madison was only following Peter on the side of the attic and Judy was at the other. But as the three kept looking, the drums became really louder that startled Judy. The sound was coming from a pile of games and books. Judy and Peter quickly start grabbing them one by one while Madison was watching until the banging stops. Madison's eyes were growing wide as she saw it.
