Chapter 5: The News

Outside of the hanger, Kolivan and the fellow members ran fast as they can to slow the intruders down. Kolivan set only two members to investigate the system of their base. Kolivan tried to communicate with Krolia, but all he got is static and quietness.
While Kolivan and the fellow members are in the halls that leads to the hanger. Suddenly, they heard engines roaring and a loud THUNK has sounded in the hanger. "Quickly now," Kolivan ordered. As Kolivan and the members finally got to the hanger, the escape pod has took off. "Follow that pod," Kolivan ordered.
"Yes sir," a few of the members replied. Then the two headed towards their fighter jets.
A weak moan has sounded. Kolivan turned to the sound, he saw a familiar figure on the floor. Kolivan's eyes widened in horror.
"Krolia!" Kolivan ran towards Krolia.
As Kolivan is standing before Krolia, he kneeled to check her pulse. It's weak, but Krolia's still hanging on. I got to wake her, Kolivan thought. She needs to stay awake, in order to survive. Kolivan gently put his hand on Krolia's shoulder. "Krolia?" he shakes her shoulder to help her wake up.

Darkness. That's where Krolia is falling to. Suddenly, she felt something warm. A voice that is carrying throughout the dark. It is faint, with all her might and will power. Krolia's spirit has started to float upward. Suddenly, a light has appeared and the voice that she is hearing has become even louder than before. All at once, everything has went white.
"-LIA," a familiar voice shouted to her as she twitched her heavy eyelids. "Come you can do this, fight it. You're a blade, not the other way around."
That voice, Krolia thought. So, in charge, it's sound like… Slowly, she opened her eyes. A blur, everything that she sees is blurry.
"KROLIA!" a familiar voice has sounded throughout her blurriness.
"…Kolivan…" Krolia weak voice has turned into a whisper.
"Thank Alfor and Allura that you awake," Kolivan nearly held his back his growl. "Thought that we lost you."
"…nice to…hear you too…Kolivan…" Krolia weakly smiled as she joked a bit.
Kolivan nearly broke a smile.
Krolia's smiled disappeared and begun to cough as blood still seeping through her side.
Kolivan sighed, "It's okay," he gently touched her shoulder. "I got you," he carefully flipped Krolia to her back.
Krolia groaned in pain as her right-hand cloth her side. Slowly, Kolivan slowly but gently slid his hands around Krolia's waist and legs.
"I'll take you to Med Bay," Kolivan whispered.
Krolia groaned in pain, weakly.
"Topaz," he turned to the female galra, who in which that she a fellow blade as well. "Contact Uzura, tell her that she needs to prepare everything for Krolia and that we are on our way to Med Bay. Plus, ask one of your friends to find a mop and clean up this mess?" His head tilted towards the blood pool where Krolia was laying at.
"Yes sir," Topaz replied.
"Thank you," Kolivan begun started to excuse himself from the scene and enter towards the hallway.
As Kolivan walks out of the hanger, he gingerly carried Krolia to Med Bay. "…Kolivan…" Krolia whispered.
"Hmm?" Kolivan eyed at Krolia.
"…I-I've tried…" Krolia whispered, "…tried to…"
"I know," Kolivan's eyes saddened. "You did your best, but for right now. Save your strength, you'll be needing it once you get healed."
Krolia weakly nodded as she nearly relaxes in Kolivan's embrace. …Keith… Krolia's eyes are stinging. I've…I've failed you…I've failed to…protect you…as a mother…that I'm supposed to be… as her eyelids become heavy again. Slowly, Krolia has entered to darkness once again.

At the Med Bay, Kolivan walked in as Uzura has a bed ready for his new patient. "Settle her here," Uzura spoke. Kolivan gingerly settle Krolia on the bed.
"I'll put her in your hands now," Kolivan spoke.
"I'll do my best," Uzura replied. Then Kolivan wrapped his hand around Krolia's.
"Hang in there," Kolivan whispered, then he let's go of her hand. Then he left the room.
Outside of the Med Bay, Kolivan walked through the hallway to see Cosmo in the Vet Bay. "How's the wolf?" Kolivan asked. Ezor, a warrior who once was a general of Lotor and a pirate after Lotor's fall. But now, she is a blade and a vet for Cosmo.
"Cosmo is a little shaken up," Exor replied. "He's suffering by some type of drug that was injected in him to make his body to feel so limbed. But within less than twelve hours, he will be able to move again."
"I see," Kolivan spoke.
"I heard about Krolia," Ezor's voice begun to shake. "Is she okay?"
"Not sure," Kolivan replied. "I'd just dropped her off in Med Bay, Uzura is taking care of her wounds right now. She'll contact once she's finished."
"Oh," Ezor's eyes saddened.
Cosmo whimpered.
"Don't worry," Kolivan spoke to Cosmo. "Krolia is going to be fine, and we'll get our boy back. That is my oath, that Keith have taught me. Never leave a blade behind."
Cosmo slowly turned his head to Kolivan.
"That I assure you," Kolivan spoke. "And Krolia, that we won't stop till Keith is found and safely return."
Cosmo lightly barked and licked Kolivan's hand.
Kolivan cleared his throat, "You're welcome," then Cosmo lye his head back down.
"Once Uzura's done," Ezor spoke. "I will take Cosmo to Krolia's side, to keep her company at lease."
"Alright," Kolivan replied. "I'll check on both of them in a bit."
Ezor nodded, then Kolivan walked out of the Vet Bay.

Within another hall, Kolivan is walking until two of the blades came back with disappointed look that is hidden behind within their masks. Kolivan turned to them, "What is it?" Kolivan asked, "Have you…?" Suddenly, the blades have removed their hoods and masks. Revealing both Acxa and Zethrid underneath. Both, who too in which were warriors that were in fact generals of Lotor, pirates and now with a second chance. They are part of the blades.
"We're sorry sir," Acxa replied.
Kolivan's eyes hardened as he sees sadness within their eyes. "Explain."
"We were just following the Ca' Raptor intruders, so we could stop them from getting away." Acxa begun, "But their escape pod was too fast and out of range, we couldn't stop them in time."
"They got away, and we never got the chance and time to put the tracker on it." Zethrid added, "Please…forgive us," Kolivan stood there for a moment.
Kolivan sighed, "You did your best," Kolivan spoke. "I'll let it slide because of your efforts, and right now. We all have a very emotional day for this occurring event."
No kidding, Zethrid thought.
"But for right now," Kolivan continued. "We must make the call, to let everyone know what has happened here. And we need the help that we all can get for this search."
"Yes sir," Acxa replied. "We'll help you to contact some friends to get that help as possibly can."
"Thank you," Kolivan nodded. "Do what you both know what to do."
"Yes sir," both Acxa and Zethrid replied. Kolivan dismissed them.
When Kolivan is alone, he begun to walk towards the bridge. Before he enters, his thoughts are full of other stuff. Wherever you are Keith, Kolivan thought as he prayed. Just don't disappear on us, we will find you. I promise. Then Kolivan entered the bridge.

Deep within outer space, everything within the area is filled with stars. With no planets to habitat with but stars that lights up in night. But within the middle of it, five dark figures floating calmly as they float within the path of stars. Suddenly, a shock was has spread throughout of the galaxy. A sudden shimmer of five color lights has lite up the five figures as stars themselves. Suddenly, a sudden growl has broken through the silence.
All at once, the five figure lights have separated and disappeared through the galaxy. Just like they have done it once before.
