Chapter 6: The Transmission

For a while, in the escape pod. Everything was quiet, the Ca' Raptors have begun to wonder why their prisoner hadn't make any sound. "Wonder what he is doing back there," the red Ca' Raptor spoke.
"I'll go check on him," the green Ca' Raptor volunteered. He got up and walked towards the cage.
As the green Ca' Raptor stood above the cage, seeing Keith is sleeping soundly in the cage. With the scent of tear stains on his cheeks. Knowing that Keith has been crying for a while, after he has been witnessing of the attack of his mother. Feeling guilty for what he has done, the green Ca' Raptor sighed and glanced at Keith again. Then he has started to walk back towards the control. "The boy is asleep," the green Ca' Raptor spoke.
"That would explain about how quiet he is," the red Ca' Raptor spoke. "But how did he fall asleep with that strange salty scent that is upon him?"
"He's been crying," he explained.
"Crying?" the red Ca' Raptor turned to him, "What is he crying about?"
"About what he has witnessed," the green Ca' Raptor replied as his eyes saddened. "That attack that I inflicted to the female Galra."
"That one who was delaying us?" the red Ca' Raptor raised a brow.
"That's the one," the green Ca' Raptor nodded. "However, she was in fact was also the one who has given life to him."
The red Ca' Raptor's sharp eyes widened, "Are you saying that she is his…?"
"I saw it through both of their eyes," the green Ca' Raptor replied. "They both truly are related."
"What should we do?" the red Ca' Raptor spoke. "Should we tell them?"
"We tell them nothing," the green Ca' Raptor shook his head. "I spared her life so she could see her son again, and I've meant every word of it. So, let's keep it quiet till that time comes, got it?"
"Got it," the red Ca' Raptor nodded. Suddenly, a thought has occurred. "Should we tell the boy, about…?"
"Once one of us is alone with the boy," the green Ca' Raptor replied. "We will tell him about the rules of that place. And besides. He needs his strength for his you-know-what's in that base that we are dropping off to."
"Okay, but should we wake him?"
"We'll wake him up once the pod is close to the base's coordinates," the green Ca' Raptor replied. "We don't want him to be too cranky about it."
"Hmmm," the red Ca' Raptor thought for moment. "You do have a point."
"So, we are at the point of agreement?"
"Very," the red Ca' Raptor nodded.
"Glad that I choose you as a partner," the green Ca' Raptor smiled.
"Same here," the red Ca' Raptor replied. "Same here," then they both have begun to stay quiet for a while.

For few moments, Keith has been sleeping for quiet a while. Suddenly, he has started to wake up. Keith can feel his eyes, mouth and throat is dry. His head begun to ache a little, neck is little cramped, and his body is stiff from shoulder to toe. "Mmm," Keith groaned. Hope that they would let me use the restroom, Keith thought as he shifted a bit as he still in the corner of the cage. Because I would be needing to use it here soon.
"Partner," the familiar voice spoke. Keith turned his head towards the control room. "We're close to the coordinates."
"Good," the second familiar voice has replied. "Now we must do the transmission to let them know about our approach, the visit and for the trade that we are after."
Trade? Keith wondered. What are they on about? What are they planning? Suddenly, Keith heard beeping sound. Keith begin to listen very carefully while he is still bond inside the cage. Suddenly, he heard a screen of the transmission has turn on.
"Nephrite," the voice that Keith believed that is belonged to the green Ca' Raptor.
"Ah, Phobos and Thanatos." A husky voice that Keith believed that it belongs to a guy named Nephrite. "Did you get the package that we have asked for?"
What? Keith jumped. He's the guy who hired them?
"Yes, we did," the voice that belongs to the green Ca' Raptor is either Phobos or Thanatos. "But…"
"But what Phobos?"
"We might have a few complications at first," Phobos answered. "But do not worry, we have taken care of it."
"Excellent," Nephrite replied. "My mistress will be very pleased to hear it."
"And the trade that she has promised?" the voice of the Red Ca' Raptor who is in fact named Thanatos have asked.
"She's the one who keeps her word," Nephrite replied. "I assure you."
Keith grunted in his gag as he listens more.
"You have our permission to land once your pod is nearby," Nephrite replied through the transmission.
"Thank you, Nephrite," Phobos replied.
"I'll be down to escort you and the package shortly," suddenly, the transmission has ended.
When it has got fully quiet, Keith shifted a little and look at his green captor who is approaching towards him. "Well," the green captor spoke. "I see that you are awake."
Keith glared at his captor. Detecting his voice, Keith believed that this captor in front of him is Phobos.
"Don't give me that look," Phobos hissed. "Just be grateful that we kept you alive for this long to survive the journey." Phobos walked clockwise around the cage. "Now since the transmission has been made," Phobos opened the cage. "Let's get you ready before we land this pod, to your new home." Phobos grabbed Keith.
"Mmm mph!" Keith struggled a bit as he's been dragged out of the cage.
