Chapter 11: The Call ~ Reunion of Paladins on Duty Once Again

At a further distance from Keith's location, a planet that holds peace and harmony. It is known as Earth.

Within the Earth, there is an academy for new cadets to become new pilots. The academy is called the Galaxy Garrison School.
Within the school, in one class, every cadet is waiting patiently within the classroom. Until one man entered the room. His uniform is black and white with an advanced mechanical arm. His skin is a pale peach with a scar at the bridge of his nose. His eyes are gray and his hair is lightly mixed with silvery-gray. A former Black Paladin of the Black Lion and was promoted to become the former Captain/Paladin of Atlas has entered his class. He faced the people that are in fact his students. He smiled at them, "Alright class," he spoke. "As you all know, you've been chosen to be the next fighter pilot for the future to come. And to get started, let me introduce myself. My name is Takashi Shirogane or just "Shiro" for short. I'll be your instructor for this semester."
The cadets muttered for a bit but suddenly got quiet.
"And today," Shiro smiled. "We're going to discuss…"
"Umm excuse me, General." One of the Lieutenants knocked on the door, and peer himself halfway out the door.
"Yes?" Shiro replied.
"Pardon me," the Lieutenant apologized. "But General Abnore would like to speak with you, General."
"Can it wait?" Shiro asked.
"I'm sorry sir," the Lieutenant shook. "But he said that this is "urgent"."
"I see," Shiro nearly sighed as he turned back to his class. "Alright, here's you're in-class assignment. While I'm gone, I like you to read Chapter 1 which is within your textbook. Then we will talk over it when I get back." Before he left, all the cadets have opened their textbooks and started reading.

In the hallway, Shiro walked toward the general's office. Shiro walked in, "Hello general," Shiro spoke.
"Hello Shiro," the general spoke. "Sorry to drag you out of the class."
"Apology accepted," Shiro smiled. "But why or…is there a reason why I was pulled out of class? When I have just got it started."
"I will explain once you follow me," the general replied.
"Okay," Shiro is unsure when he begins to follow the general.
While Shiro followed the general, he leads him to the council room. A place where to communicate to allies that live within or work outside of the galaxy. When they both entered, a familiar atmosphere entered his body. "Shiro?" a familiar voice has spoken. Shiro looks up and saw a girl who has a lab coat on, wearing sneakers, a bright green shirt, and jeans. She also has hazel brown eyes, short-light brown hair, and peach skin. A former Green Paladin of the Green Lion has been recognized by Shiro. With a surprised look on her has recognized who has also entered the council room.
Shiro smiled, "Pidge," he walked towards her.
"Hey Shiro," Pidge smiled back.
"It's good to see you again," Shiro hugged her.
"You too," Pidge nearly hugged him.
"But…what and why are you doing here?" Shiro asked.
"I've been requested to come here," Pidge answered. "The same has been requested for you to come as well."
"That goes the same for us as well," a familiar voice replied. Shiro turned to the communicator screen. He saw familiar faces shown on the screen.
One screen shows a chief that has a yellow banana bandana wrapped around his head. His skin is African American, with bright brown eyes and black hair. A former Yellow Paladin of the Yellow Lion and is now known chief to the whole universe is shown on another ship to service his famous food to everyone that lives within the galaxy.
On the other screen has shown two men with four Altean mice. One man is Altean, who has a light tan with blue marks on his face. He wears a blue suit that is fit for the advisor of the new planet of Altea. Right next to him is a teenage boy who has light brown skin, brown hair, blue eyes, and blue marks on his face. He also wears a light blue shirt with a jacket covering his arms. A former Blue Paladin of the Blue Lion that was promoted to become a former Red Paladin of the "Red Lion" is now present with the mice on his shoulders. One mouse is big and its fur is in the color green named Platt, one mouse is mid-big and its fur is in the color pale rose-gray with bright pink eyes is named Chuchule, one mouse is skinny and its fur is in the color of bluish-gray with ruby red eyes is named Plachu, and the last mouse is the smallest of the group and its fur is a light blue color with bright blue eyes and a white patch on its head. The little mouse is named Chulatt. Platt, Chuchule, Plachu, and Chulatt are friends with the Paladins and the former Princess of Altea, and now living with the former Blue Paladin so they could help him to take care of his new home.
The third screen shows a Galra that is a leader rank of the Blade of Marmora, with a scar across his right eye.

With the encounter of the screen, Shiro got his train of thoughts back on track. "Hunk," he spoke. "Lance, Coran, Kolivan?" He examined the three screens again, and they show different locations that he was aware of and it brought him confusion. "General, what's going on?" Shiro turned to him, "Why did you call us here?"
The general sighed, "I'll let Kolivan explain that."
"Thank you, General," Kolivan spoke.
"Kolivan," Shiro turned to the screen. "Why did you call us out from our duties?"
"I second that," Pidge crossed her arms.
"Forgive me for the interruption, however," Kolivan spoke. "I have an announcement about the event that has happened back on Marmora Base."
"What kind of events Kolivan?" Lance asked.
"Over twenty-four hours ago," Kolivan began. "We got intruders here on the base and attacked one of my fellow blades."
"What?" everyone jumped, including the mice squeaking in surprise.
"Are you guys okay?" Hunk asked in worry.
"We're fine but," Kolivan replied.
"What about Keith, Krolia, and Cosmo?" Coran asked, "Are they alright?"
Kolivan sighed. "That's the part that I need to explain about."
Everyone remains silent for a moment.
"Come again?" Hunk broke the silence.
"Kolivan," Shiro spoke. "Please explain."
"You see," Kolivan began. "Krolia and Cosmo are out of commission right now, but…somehow the intruders have not left empty-handed."
"What do you mean about that?" Shiro began to worry.
"The reason why that Krolia is out of commission is that she tried to save her cub from the intruders' clutches." Kolivan explained.
"Wait, did you say her cub?" Lance asked.
"I did," Kolivan nodded.
"Did she get herself another one?" Lance asked.
"No," Kolivan shook. "She only has one."
"But who…" Lance began to ask again. But suddenly stopped as he began to think. After three ticks of silence, everyone began to realize what Kolivan has meant.
"WHAT?!" everyone jumped.
"The Altian Mice squeaked in horror.
"Someone has Keith?!" Pidge panicked.
"How?" Shiro added.
"I know that this is shocking for you to hear this," Kolivan speaks calmly.
"Dude," Lance spoke. "This is over the edge of shock man."
"Fair enough," Kolivan nodded. "But it is the truth."
"Kolivan, how did this happen?" Shiro asked, "How did it all start?"
"Let me explain this a little further," Kolivan spoke. "You see, Krolia and Keith are doing the scanning for anything that is part of suspicious that could roam within the galaxy. Until Keith's wolf howled and disturbed us during our duties."
"Cosmo howled," Hunk rubbed his chin. "He's probably needed some attention."
"That's what we have thought to at first," Kolivan nodded. "Before realizing that he was used as bait."
"Did you say, bait?" Pidge raised an eyebrow.
"I did," Kolivan nodded.
"What kind of intruder would do that to him?" Pidge asked.
Kolivan remains silent for a few ticks. "Coran," Kolivan spoke.
"Hmm?" Coran jumped. "Yes?"
"Have you ever heard the words "Ca' Raptor Demons" before?" Kolivan asked.
Everyone has remained silent with a dumb panned face planted within their face.
"Ah yes, I have." Coran smiled brightly.
Everyone, except Kolivan has jumped.
"I've heard about them during my childhood," Coran continued. "Nasty and sneaky fellas, but only to believe that they are just a myth."
Everyone except Kolivan narrowed their eyes as their *animated* sweat dropped appeared upon their brow.
"No," Kolivan shook. "Not a myth, they are in fact indeed real."
"What?!" Coran's eyes widened as his face turned pale and his mustache become straight in terror and shock.
"They are real," Kolivan spoke. "My fellow blades and I have encountered them many times within the past, and now, for a long time for the first time have snuck into our territory that does not belong to them."
"How did they get in?" Lance asked.
"Do not know," Kolivan replied. "But somehow, the Ca' Raptors has snuck in undetected, used a drug on Keith's wolf…so they could pin him down and lure Keith out from his duties."
"They set a trap," Pidge raises an eyebrow. "For Keith?"
"Why would they do that?" Shiro asked.
"Do not know yet," Kolivan shrugged. "But when Krolia first discovered that Keith has not yet returned to his duty. She requested from all of us to shut down the base, so we could manage to slow the Ca' Raptors down from their escape route."
"But?" Shiro asked.
"But it isn't enough," Kolivan added.
"What do you mean?" Hunk asked.
"The Ca' Raptors retreated to the hanger," Kolivan answered. "I was hoping for Krolia, if that she could stop them before they could get to the hanger. But unfortunately, we have underestimated their speed once again."
"Those creatures have incredible speed," Coran explained. "Think of it as a similar speed to those that you ride on two wheels or one of those dinosaurs that run within packs."
"You mean a motorcycle and a velociraptor?" Lance asked.
"Yeah," Coran nodded. "That's right."
"So...you mean to tell us that," Pidge tries to think. "That they have made it to the hanger with that type of speed before you could stop them fully?"
"Indeed, they have." Kolivan nodded, "However, Krolia went in there and attack them solo instead of waiting for backup." Kolivan rubbed the temples of his head as if he was having a headache. "As usual, her stubbornness has led her to disobey orders once again."
"Great," Lance muttered. "Where did I hear that before?" Lance crossed his arms as his face frowned.
"Like mother like son," Kolivan admitted as he slightly nodded.
"She's just using her instincts to protect her cub," Coran reminded him. "Nothing else."
"Right," Lance muttered with his eyes narrowed.
"Now's not the time Lance," Shiro spoke in a firm voice. "That part will be discussed later."
"Fine," Lance sighed. "Sorry."
The mice *animated* sweat dropped.
Kolivan bowed his head to reply.
"Please Kolivan," Shiro spoke. "Continue."
"Very well," Kolivan nodded. "As I was saying," Kolivan cleared his throat. "While Krolia is there in the hanger, the fellow blades and I are heading to the hanger as a backup. But when we got there, the Ca' Raptors have fully escaped with Keith as their prisoner. I ordered a could of blades to follow the escape pod so we could put the tracker on it. But that's not all."
"What do you mean?" Pidge began to worry.
"While I was there," Kolivan nearly sighed. "I found Krolia wounded on the floor of the hanger."
"What?" everyone jumped.
"Is she alright?" Hunk asked, "Please tell me that she's alright man."
"She's fine," Kolivan replied. "She's stable but alive. She's resting with Cosmo right about now."
Hunk sighed in relief.
"How did she got hurt?" Coran asked.
"There is a deep gash of wound that is cut open at the left side of her hip towards her abdomen," Kolivan answered. "She was barely alive, but luckily she'd pulled through when I woke her up."
"But…" Pidge spoke, "What about Keith? Did you…?"
"Sadly no," Kolivan nodded. "This is one of the reasons why the blades and I have to call you about."
"What is it, Kolivan?" Shiro asked.
"A couple of blades that were the ones that are supposed to chase the Ca' Raptors are supposed to put the tracker on the escape pod," Kolivan began. "Has never got the chance to, it has got away from us and disappeared into the furthest part of the galaxy. We began the search, but we know that we can't do it alone. The blades and I were wondering if you and the alliance would help us to expand the search further for Keith. With your help, it will stop the Ca' Raptors from whatever plans they have for him. So, would you…?"
"Of course, Kolivan," Shiro nodded. "We will be glad to help you and the blades to look for Keith."
"I'm defiantly in," Coran pulled his mustache.
"Count me in," Lance smiled.
The mice squeaked happily.
"These guys will help too," Lance pointed out.
The mice nodded.
"Here we go again," Hunk slumped. "But I'm in, I would like to show you guy my new recipes after all."
"I'm in as well," Pidge smiled brightly as she nodded. "You might need my brains after all," Pidge chuckled.
"Everyone within the galaxy, including us," Shiro spoke. "Will be glad to willingly help you to find Keith and bring him home."
"Thank you, everyone." Kolivan sighed in relief, "All of you," everyone smiled as they are ready to make plans to join to do the search for their lost friend.
Hang on Keith, Shiro prayed. We will find you, soon. As Shiro and Pidge exiting out of the council room. Begun to discuss with the general, the government, and the alliance to make an expedition of a search for their lost hero.
