Chapter 17: The Rescue Mission
Part 2: Breaking and Entering & Search Teams

While the transmission has been cut off, everyone has remained quiet but slowly turn to Shiro. In calm and frustration, Shiro turned to the crew. "Everyone," Shiro spoke. "This will be the toughest one yet, but we need to keep them busy for a little longer till Team Voltron will return without a friend. And, make sure that everything counts."
"Roger that sit," the cadets on the bridge nodded.
"We'll do the best that we can do, sir." Axca nodded from her hoverboard as she and the blades attack the enemy.
"Let's do this," said one of the fighter pilots as they fired at the enemy as well.
"And stay alive, every one of you," Shiro spoke as he breathed in calmly. Come on guys, Shiro prayed. Don't fail on us, or we will lose Keith for sure.
Outside of the battle space-field, the yellow lion, the green lion, and the red lion are quietly flying into the enemy's hanger within the ship. Fly in and landed undetected and nowhere to be seen.

As the lions landed, the paladins and Matt exited out of the lions and entered into the ship to find a computer to hack into. At one of the computers, Pidge hooked up her own computer into the system and began to hack. When she fully bypassed the password, a ding hit her computer. "I'm in," she continued typing away.
"Hurry Pidge," Matt whispered.
"I'm searching as fast as I can," Pidge whispered back. "But the system and the map is a maze, so it would take me in a minute."
"Take your time," Lance spoke. "Let's not get too rushed until…" suddenly, Pidge's computer beeped.
"Got something," Pidge spoke as she looks at her computer again. "Huh…" she read more thoroughly. "What the quiznak?"
"Pidge, language!" Matt scolds his sister.
"What is it Pidge?" both Hunk and Lance asked Pidge.
"I have found Keith," Pidge spoke. "And he's defiantly here."
"Okay," Hunk spoke. "Then what's with the quiznaking for?"
"According to this," Pidge began. "It said that Keith is at two different locations of this ship."
"What?" Both Hunk and Lance jumped.
"At what location Pidge?" Matt asked.
"Actually, there are two locations that show Keith really is." Pidge pointed out.
"What?" Both Matt, Lance, and Hunk jumped.
"One of the locations that show Keith is in a cell block," Pidge began. "And the other shows that he is in the "Mother's Quarters"." She raised an eyebrow, "Mother's Quarter, really?"
"Probably a name for a captain that runs this ship," Matt suggested.
"Are you saying that this captain is a girl?" Lance asked.
"Possibly," Matt nodded.
"O-o-o-okay," Lance nearly stuttered.
Matt cleared his throat, "So uh…why did they put Keith at two different locations, and located at the same time?"
"Good question," Pidge shrugged.
"They could be deceiving us and luring us to a trap," Lance crossed his arms. "Since we broke in and all."
Both Pidge and Matt shrugged.
"Or they could be experimenting with Keith to make clones of him," Hunk suggested. "It would explain that he's at two different places."
"Uh, yeah. That's not going to happen Hunk," Matt narrowed his eyes.
"That did happen once with Shiro," Hunk pointed out.
"That was the Galra Empire," Matt corrected him. "And this not the Galra Empire, this a different situation this time."
"Fine," Hunk sighed in defeat as he whistled nervously and looked away in embarrassment.
"Well," Pidge spoke. "It is also a slight possibility since this is a level higher of high tech than us. So, it is a slight chance of possibility."
"Katie," Matt muttered as his head throbbed.
"Thanks, Pidge," Hunk nearly shed a tear.
This is not getting any of us anywhere. Lance thought as he sighed, "I think," he said. "That we need to split up."
"What?" both Matt and Hunk jumped.
"Have you already lost your quiznaking star-balls Lance?" Pidge grunted through her teeth.
"Look, I don't like it either." Lance spoke, "But it's the only way that's fast enough to find Keith, that way. It will be a lot faster to search for him."
"Okay," Pidge calms down. "Now that's very understandable."
"You defiantly have a good point," Hunk rubbed his helmet.
"With a defiantly good reason," Matt nodded.
"Okay, since that's settled." Lance spoke, "For starters, I will take Matt for our search."
"Good enough for me," Matt smiled.
"And I will be with Hunk on the other," Pidge smiled.
"Sounds good," Hunk smiled.
"Okay, now let's…" Lance nearly lead the team.
"Wait," Hunk spoke. "Which one of us will take? The room or the cell?"
"Oh, you do have a good point." Lance tried to think again.
"How about rock, paper, and scissors?" Pidge suggested, "The winner will take the cell and the loser will take the room."
"Uh, is that the other way around Pidge?" Lance asked.
"Not this time Lance," Pidge nodded. "We're in a hurry, so let's do it."
Lance sighed, "Alright, you're on." As both Pidge and Lance are facing each other with rock, paper, and scissors. Matt started downloading the map to both his and Pidge's equipment.

Two minutes later, Lance and Matt are taking one hallway that goes up. While Pidge and Hunk are taking the other hallways that go down. But to Matt, he can't stop chuckling and laughing at Lance. "I can't believe that you actually lost to my sister three times already." Matt laughed loudly.
"Matt," Lance growled as he madly blushes. "Shut your quiznaking up!" as he and Matt continue running through the hall that goes up.
To Pidge and Hunk, the hallway is getting darker as they kept on running. "Okay," Pidge spoke. "According to this, we need to go right and hang a left where a hall has a broken screen in the middle of the hall."
"Right," Hunk picked up the pace as he and Pidge dashed through the hall. Entering deeper into the dark.
