AN: A idea that came to me while watching the movies, I just like to think some of them had communication well before Dominion. Unbeated, so I'm sorry for all errors.

It was well after midnight as Claire sat on the hotel room sofa.

She alternated between shaking and just sitting and staring silently at the walls.

She had arrived on the main land of Costa Rica hours ago, everyone had been lucky to get out of Jurassic World alive.

Eleven years of work, of what she had devoted her whole life to had been destroyed in just hours.

She hadn't paid attention to everyone who had it was a ticking time bomb. She had been obsessed with profit and fame.

She barely even knew her own family because of it, her own nephews had nearly lost her lives.

They had all sworn Jurassic Park would never happen again and this disaster had topped that one.

Claire had no idea what she was supposed to next.

John Hammond had been right, admitting that bringing back dinosaurs had been a mistake and they should've just stayed extinct, not to continue his work and let the remaining dinosaurs die off this time for good.

Owen was asleep in his room next door, he had offered to stay with her but she had wanted to be on her own for a while.

She wanted complete privacy to fall apart. She hated crying, she liked only strength but right now it was absent.

Just then the ringing of the phone startled her but she let the machine of the hotel phone pick up.

"Claire?" It was the voice of her lawyer, Charlie Mitchell, "I know you won't believe this but Ellie Sattler has reached out to me..."

Ellie Sattler, the Ellie Sattler? The one from the original Jurassic Park? Claire thought, shock and curiosity racing through her.

Claire picked up the phone, "Charlie? You mean the woman from Jurassic Park?"

"Yes Claire, the Ellie Sattler from the original Jurassic Park disaster, her lawyer reached out to me an hour ago. She'd like to talk with you when you're willing, if you don't wish to she'll understand. "

"No, I'd like to," Any distraction to keep the memories at bay.

"I'll contact Mr. Bradley, her lawyer, and set up a time tomorrow."

"Thank you". Claire hung up the phone and eventually fell into a fitful sleep.

It was one pm her time and Claire jumped when the phone rang even though she knew to expect the call.

She picked up the phone, "Hello?"

"Hello, Ms. Dearing," A friendly female voice replied.

"Ms. Sattler I presume."

"You can call me Ellie if you like."

"I admit I was surprised when my lawyer said you wanted to make contact."

"I thought you'd feel better talking with someone who understands, the memories and emoitions are forever."

"Trust me I won't be forgetting."

"The night terrors will be massive, I had them for years thankfully therapy for the ptsd helped. Try not to use sleeping pills I nearly became hooked."

"Thank you for the warning."

"Also extreme anger at yourself and those who care about you."

"Why were you angry Ellie?" Claire mentally kicked herself for that one.

"At Hammond for playing God, thinking he could bring them back and be able to control everything, at Nedry the computer programmer for being a money hungry crook and shutting everything down, all for profit.

At myself for not respecting the power of the dinosaurs for thinking of them like animals in a special zoo just for entertainment."

"That's been me for the last eleven years Ellie, I saw only the money and fame. I never saw them as brings with feelings."

"Life is good at bringing us humans down to our knees."

"You said anger at the ones you love."

"Family and friends who weren't there and therefore couldn't fully understand, able to go about their lives unchanged.

I had a boyfriend I loved dearly...I still love him after all this time." Ellie's voice broke.

"Dr Grant?" Claire asked ,it was well known they had been a couple.

"We both had ptsd and started lashing out at each other, I wanted kids even before that and he kept resisting he said we needed to conquer our new demons.

We had massive blowout, I told him he was great with kids and I was tired of him being a coward and then the San Diego incident happened and I decided I was done with him for good .I met Mark, my now husband soon after that and we quickly married and I had the family I wanted."

Ellie let out a little strange laugh, "I'm sorry for hijacking the conversation."

"No, its ok I've never liked talking about myself I've never been good with people and connections. Are you happy with your husband?"

"We're more like roommates these days a lot of times, basically our two kids are our main reason for being together. We married to quickly."

"Because you still love Dr. Grant?" Claire said carefully.

"Also that?"

"Have you tried speaking to him recently?"

"A couple of years ago he made it obvious he wanted a clean break from me, all the memories of dinosaurs, our break up and even just trying to stay friends, everything somehow ends up being unpleasant between us. I've done my best to respect his wishes."

"So the disaster keeps ruining things?"

"Only if you let it Claire, let your family and friends reach out to you talk to professionals and fight to keep your life intact."

"I will," Claire replied, "Thank you Ellie, it's good to be around someone who understands, a friendly stranger."

Owen was another person who understood better than anyone. He popped into Claire's mind.

"I'm glad I could help."

"Ellie, I'd like it if we could stay in contact."

"I'd like that also."

They said their goodbyes and Claire hung up the phone. She felt a whole lot better about everything, she would fight to reclaim her life and to also help the remaining dinosaurs.

She decided to go find Owen and see what he was up to.

She would deal with the media and everything else another day.
