Madison swam around as she saw nothing. She turned her head sideways and saw nothing but seaweed and ocean. Just ocean until suddenly she stopped as she saw something.

A ship. A big, sunken ship. Madison looked at it. Surely, the ship looked very familiar.

"Could that be the ship that Ariel and Flounder were at on their first scene?" Madison wondered and swam a little closer to it until she saw a shadow. She quickly hid behind a huge rock and slowly took a peek.

A huge shark was swimming around the ship as it was looking for something.

'That must be the same shark that chase Ariel and Flounder. If I saw it chasing them, I have to find a way to stop it.' she thought.

Madison waited and waited as she laid back behind the clock until she heard a scream. A child boy scream. Madison looked back at the ship and saw that the shark was gone. She quickly swam closer to the ship and looked through small window.

She saw them. Ariel and Flounder being chase by that large shark.

"I have to help them." she said to herself.

Madison quickly and carefully swam into the broken window where the shark burst in. She quickly swam towards the sounds until she saw Ariel and Flounder swam past her. Madison looked up and saw the shark heading straight towards her.

She let out a scream but not just a normal scream. Sonic waves came straight out of her mouth and hit the shark, going backwards. Madison covered her mouth in shock and looked at her necklace.

"Was that you're doing or did that came out of me?" she asked softly to the gem and the sapphire glow a bit. Madison saw that it only glow once as a response for a no. That was a first until she felt a hand on her arm.

Madison looked up and saw Ariel facing her.

"Come on, let's go!" the mermaid spoke to her and the two quickly swim out of the ship through that tiny window along with Flounder.

All three swam away but as Madison looked back and saw the shark burst through the wall and continue to chase them. Flounder scream as they all were swimming around the tall mast until Flounder got hit by the gallant.

Madison looked back and saw Flounder going down and the shark swimming towards him.

"Wait! Your friend is in trouble!" she spoke as she stopped Ariel.

The little mermaid looked down saw her friend going down. She along with Madison swam down towards the fish until they came to an anchor. Ariel finally caught her friend but saw the shark coming.

The girls and the fish quickly swam away but as they looked back, they saw the shark stuck in the ring of the anchor. Madison sigh with relief as Ariel quickly grabbed her bag and swam away.

"You big bully." Flounder spoke to the shark and blow raspberries at him with his tongue until the shark snapped, making the poor guppy swam away.

"Flounder, you really are a guppy." Ariel giggled.

"I am not." he said to her.

Madison looked at the shark but looked back at Ariel and Flounder who were staring at her. She started to swim towards them and looked at the two.

"Are you two alright?" she asked them.

"We're alright. Thanks to you." said Ariel.

"Yeah, I've never seen a mermaid that can scream like that." said Flounder.

"In fact, I've never seen a mermaid like you before. I'm pretty sure that you're not from Atlantica." said Ariel as she looked at her white tail.

"Let's just say that I'm very far from here. Very, very far. I'm Madison by the way. You can call me Maddie." Madison answered.

"I'm Ariel and this is Flounder."

"Hi."

"We're on our way to see our friend Scuttle. Why don't you come with us and meet him?" Ariel asked.

"I'd be happy to." Madison replied with a smiled and the three starts swimming up to the surface.

Madison and the other two reached to the surface of the ocean and came to a tiny island where a broken mast was on the crow's nest was seagull. He was humming a little tune and looking and playing with the telescope.

"Scuttle!" Ariel shouts out to him.

"Whoa! Mermaid off the port bow!" the seagull shouted as he looked through the telescope the wrong way, "Ariel, how you doin' kid?" he asked but as he lower the telescope, he saw how close the girls and Flounder are to him. "Whoa, what a swim!"

Madison giggled a little until she notices the seagull was looking at her.

"And who is this?" Scuttle asked.

"Our new friend, Maddie." Ariel answered and then she brought out her bag, "Scuttle, look what we found.

"Yeah, we were in this sunken ship, it was really creepy." said Flounder.

"Human stuff huh? Hey, let me see." Scuttle spoke. He brought out an anchor and dropped it the ground along with him.

"You alright?" Madison asked as she looked at the seagull.

"Yeah, I'm alright." he answered as he got up. He walked towards Ariel as he hopped on Flounder's head and took the bag.

All three looked at him as he was digging in Ariel's bag until he brought out a fork.

"Look at this. Wow! This is special. This is very, very unusual."

"What? What is it?" Ariel asked with excitement.

"It's a dinglehopper! Humans use these little babies to straighten their hair out. See..." Scuttle use the fork and twirl his feathers with it, "just a little twirl here an' a yank there and..." As he pulls it out, his head become fluffy like he's got hair, "Voiolay! You got an aesthetically pleasing configuration of hair that humans go nuts over!"

"A dinglehopper!" said Ariel as she looked at the fork that Scuttle handed it back to her. Madison smiled and slowly shook her head, knowing that's not how that works.

"What about that one?" Flounder asked as he looked at the pipe and Scuttle picked it up.

"Ah, this I haven't seen in years. This is wonderful! A banded, bulbous, snarfblat." he answered, and Ariel and Flounder were in awe.

"Snarfblat?" Madison question as she raised an eyebrow.

"Now, the snarfblat dates back to prehistorical times, when humans used to sit around, and stare at each other all day. Got very boring. So, they invented the snarfblat to make fine music. Allow me." he said.

Scuttle starts to blow on the pipe, but as seaweed popped out, he starts to choke.

"Music?!" Ariel exclaimed.

Madison looked at her and saw that her face look like she forgot something.

"It's stuck!" said Scuttle as he coughs.

"Oh, the concert! Oh my gosh, my father's gonna kill me!" said Ariel as she put the fork back in her bag.

"The concert was today?" Flounder questioned.

"Maybe you could make a little planter out of it or somethin'." said Scuttle as he was still contemplating pipe until Ariel took it from him.

"Uh, I'm sorry, I've gotta go. Thank you Scuttle." said Ariel as she along with Madison and Flounder swam away.

While the three kept on swimming, Ariel looked at Madison.

"When we get there, I want you to meet my father, since you've helped us from that shark." she said until Madison stopped her pace.

"No, I don't think that should be a good idea." she said to her.

"Why not?" Flounder question.

"I don't know. I don't think your home won't be a welcome to me. I mean, I don't think... I mean..." Madison tried to make an excuse until Ariel place her hand on her shoulder.

"I understand what you mean."

"You... do?"

"You're probably scared of my father. He can be angry and serious at times. Maybe it's best not to meet him. But I can see you again."

"How?"

"You see that rock over there?" she asked as she pointed.

"Yeah?"

"That rock is where it's blocking a cave. A cave where I keep my treasures. Go in there and wait for me." said Ariel.

Treasures. The cave must be her grotto. Madison looked at the mermaid with a small smile and nod.

"Sure. I can wait for you." she answered.

"Great. Just go there and I'll be back." said Ariel and she along with Flounder swam away.

Madison watched the two left and quickly swam towards the cavern. With all her strength, Madison tried to lift rock up to open until it made a gap. She quickly swam inside before it close and saw something that couldn't believe her eyes.

The grotto.
