It had been a couple of years since the Uzumaki family moved to Mirage Island after when Sir Arron was retired from being an aura guardian. After the war however Newtopia was completely erased by the people of Orre, because they didn't want to remember the awful history of them being conquers. So they took anything that resembles or said anything about Newtopia or the Leviathan blood line (except for Andrias's wanted posters). They gathered them in one place and burned it to the ground. It was like the people Orre were finally waking up from a horrible nightmare.
Back to the Bal des Sola village, Sir Arron now older 35 years old. He still wore his guardian hat under his spiky black hair and blue eyes. He wore a blue jacket with the yellow guardian symbol on the back while he wore a tan shirt with the village symbol of the sun on the front, green pants, brown boots and his staff. Next to him his trusty partner Lucario who has been there for him for years. There were walking towards the temple where it said Mew had lived for years. The Temple looked very ancient it was built like 5,000 or 6,000 years ago given the tall stone structure of the building and stairs. Arron and Lucario walked up the steps and stepped into the temple. They looked at the walls to see murals of the legendary pokemon Mew inscribed on them. It was proof that people who used to live on Mirage Island saw Mew. They chiseled images of Mew on the temple wall. Is was to record their findings of the legendary pokemon called Mew.
Arron and Lucario looked at the podium to see the last strain fossilized of Mew's DNA just sitting there. Arron looked back 13 years ago. When Arron was still a guardian and worked with Queen Rin. Flashback: a 22 year old Arron and his Lucario were in the throne room with Queen Rin sitting on her throne. There were two men standing next to Queen Rin. Queen Rin had long blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a purple gown with a sliver crown with red and green jewels. The men next to her looked like scientists. The first one had got to be in his mid 50's he had a mixture of brown and grey hair, he had a beard, wore glasses, he wore a purple suit and tie and a white lab coat over it. The second scientist was probably in his early 30's he had short brunette hair and mustache, wore glasses, a grey suit and tie over his white lab coat.
"Ah, Sir Arron and Lucario perfect timing I had a request that I would like you to do for me." Queen Rin said.
"As an Aura Guardian to the people and pokemon of Kanto me and Lucario will give it are all." Sir Arron told Queen Rin eagerly.
"I like your enthusiasm Sir Arron and I appreciate all you and Lucario had done for Kanto and my kingdom for years." Sir Arron and Lucario smiled at Queen Rin being appreciated for all their hard work.
"Now for the request I will ask for you to do. You see Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blane Roth Forge who is also the gym leader of Cinnabar Island wanted an escort to Mirage Island."
Then Dr. Fuji stepped forward to take the floor, "You see me and Blaine are studying about how you take a strand of DNA from one person and make a perfect copy that completely resembles the person you take the strand from." Dr. Fuji explained.
"You mean like cloning?" Sir Arron asked.
"Exactly Sir Arron, me and Fuji need an escort to take us to the Mirage Island where the legendary pokemon Mew had once been seen a long time ago. We believe there is a strand of DNA from Mew somewhere on the island. We want to take it and study it, we believe it will unlock the secrets of the cloning process. Since Mew is know to have every DNA strand of every pokemon that ever existed." Dr. Blaine explained.
"Mew has the ability to change to any type of pokemon it chooses so it can blend in with other pokemon or their surroundings. That's why it is very hard to find a wild Mew since it always changes it's appearance. You never know if it's a regular pokemon or Mew. By understanding how Mew's DNA works we can save a lot of people and give them better lives." Dr. Fuji said.
Sir Arron was reluctant to help since he believed that cloning people or pokemon was unethical. But, as an Aura guardian he can't turn down any request to the people and pokemon of Kanto. Since he was taught to help any person or pokemon even though you believe differently then they do. The only way he would deny this request is that it would cause harm to the world, but since they wanted to study Mew's DNA. It wasn't really life threatening.
Sir Arron smiled at both scientists and said, "I will escort you to Mirage Island to help you find Mew's DNA."
This made the Queen, Dr. Fuji, and Dr. Blane happy. Sir Arron sighed hoping he wasn't going to regret this. Lucario gave him a nod telling him he will support him, which made Sir Arron smiled at his best friend. A couple of days later they had arrived on Mirage Island with a couple of other people that Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine had payed for cooks, navigators, people who specialized in medicine, and archeologists. There was one archeologist that he befriend on this journey, his name was Eric Stone he had shorts wavy brunette hair, blue eyes, a brown mustache, A red plaid shirt and brown pants with a green scarf around his neck. Eric will later go to Alola to study the 4 guardian pokemon ruins. It is we're she will meet Felicia Sundew. Later they will get married and have a daughter named Ivy.
They spent weeks trying to find the temple on foot. During those weeks Sir Arron sat down next to Dr. Fuji, Dr. Blaine, and Eric as we got to know each other.
Eric told us that "he got his passion for archeology when he worked with other archeologists to uncover pokemon fossils like Kabuto and Aerodactyl. It made him appreciate the history of what these pokemon experience in the past and how he loved to go on adventures and uncover mysteries."
Blaine mentioned "that he and his twin brother Henry were too trainers in their youth. He specialized in fire type pokemon, while Henry specialized in steel type pokemon. People started calling them the Forge brothers because of what types he and his brother specializes in. When they gotten older, his brother Henry had gotten a job in the Orre region as an inventor and scientist. As for me, the League had offered me a job as gym leader in Cinnabar Island while I work as I scientist. I worked with Dr. Fuji for 3 years now after the Cinnabar University had to take away my lab and equipment since the University was being shut down due to the Island being more then a tourist attraction. Which resulted the money that was suppose to go to the University ended up going to the island instead. Dr. Fuji was looking for a partner to work with on his cloning project. He'd asked me to work with him, he offered me a lab and new equipment. I'd agree to help him only on the Leagues off seasons."
"What about you Dr. Fuji? How did you get involved with cloning?" Sir Arron asked Dr. Fuji.
Dr. Fuji just sighed knowing this topic would come up eventually.
"We'll Sir Arron it happened years ago when I was a younger man. I had a wife and a daughter her name was Amber she had long blue hair, brown eyes, wearing a blue dress. She was only eight years old when an accident happened. Me and Amber were at the park. I was on the phone with my boss. Amber was playing on the swings. I don't know what happened next one minute Amber was on the swings, the next thing I know Amber is out on the street helping a little pod get that broke it's wing. I tried to get to my daughter but then a truck came out of nowhere and hit Amber. She died instantly after the paramedics came and told me she had died. It destroyed me for losing my little girl. Dr. Fuji had tears in his eyes. Then I thought of a way to bring back my daughter by using the cloning process. I already took a bunch of Amber's hair and did tests in my lab to try and bring her back. Unfortunately many of my attempts failed and I ended up with only a few strands of my daughters hair left. My wife couldn't handle it and told me "that I can never bring our daughter back." We ended up arguing about this until she got fed up and left me. When we find Mew's fossilized DNA I'll be able to study it and unlock it and get my daughter back." Dr. Fuji said passionately.
Sir Arron knew what it was like to lose people they love. He lost both parents at the same age as Amber during a raid in his home town. It was left in pretty bad shape. He wandered alone for a week until he met princess Rin at the time and her handmaiden and future wife. They gave him food, a home, and helped him discovered his gift of aura. Without them he would have never met Lucario his best friend, become a aura guardian, meeting Scarlet and marring her. Without there support and help he probably would have died a long time ago. However Sir Arron felt that Dr. Fuji was replacing her daughter with a clone copy. He wanted object but his code preventing him to do it since it he and Blaine weren't trying to destroy the world. So he just sat there in silence.
They actually went all over the island trying to navigate in this deep jungle. Many of the people that Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine hired we're ready to quite and go back home except for Eric he wanted to see this until the end. Unfortunately not many of them wanted to risk their lives at some fairy tail that the Doctors believed. Then one day Sir Arron's Aura activated as he sensed something close to the area that they set up camp the night before.
"Lucario do you sense it, there's something in the area?"
"Your right Arron I sensed it too let's go find out." Lucario told Arron.
"Let's go about a mile before we turn back and tell everyone what we just felt."
Lucario nodded as they followed this strange aura about a couple of minutes later Lucario mentioned turning back sense it was getting light out and people will get worried if they didn't see them back at the camp. At that moment as Sir Arron removed some vines they saw an ancient temple. That has got to be the temple that Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine are searching for, he and Lucario ran back to camp to tell everyone the great news that they found the temple.
Everyone was so excited that they finally found it, they made their way inside the temple.
"This is History in the making guys!" Eric said excitedly when he saw the pictures of Mew on the walls.
Everyone looked around for around to find the fossilized DNA of Mew. Then one of the people that were with us said, "I found something Dr. Fuji I think it's what you been searching for."
Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine looked at what this person found to their surprise when they removed the tablet on the podium it didn't contain one of Mew's fossilized DNA it contained two. Which excited both Professors.
"Sirs, I know your excited of finding more then one strand of Mew DNA but we can only take one of them. Is to preserve the temple so we won't cause the ecosystem on Mirage Island to be damaged." Sir Arron explained.
"Sir Arron is right as an archeologist we should preserve history. If we just take things for ourselves then we will lose this part of this great history." Eric tried to talk sense to both Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine.
Dr. Blaine and Dr. Fuji looked at each other before they started talking.
"Fuji maybe there right, we don't need two we can mange one strand." Blaine said with more understanding.
Dr. Fuji was more reluctant about giving up the other DNA strand, but seeing how serious everyone's faces were he didn't have a choice but to cave in. Dr. Fuji sighed "All right! I guess we can use the one strand."
This made everyone happy they returned to Kanto another few weeks later. Everyone that the Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine hired left the ship with their paychecks and went back to their homes. As for Eric he left to go to Alola to study some ruins of the four guardians. Sir Arron had made a life long friend during his time on Mirage Island. Queen Rin was very relieved that they all returned safely. The scientists thanked Queen Rin and Sir Arron for there help, they packed up their belongings and went back to their labs to study Mew's DNA. What Sir Arron, Queen Rin and everyone else doesn't know that during the war in the Orre Region. A Captain of the Newtopian army went to the Kanto Region to find scientists that can make a weapon for King Aldrich to stop the resistance of Kanto soldiers and pokemon. He had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine who had finished there study of Mew's DNA and had started the process of cloning he started with the starters of Kanto. Dr. Fuji called them Bulbasaur Two, Charmander Two, and Squirtle Two. There was another tank that held a clone version of his daughter he called her Amber Two. This would be his last attempt to bring back his daughter since he doesn't have any of her hair for her DNA left.
He introduced himself as Grimothy Berserker but he told them to call him Grime since he hated his full name. He is 24 years old with spiky black hair, grey eyes, has a scar on his right size of of his face down to his right eye with scowl on his face. He wore silver Newtopian armor next to him is his partner Rhydon.
"Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine I had come all the way from another Region called Orre I work for the King of Newtopia to look for scientists that would make weapons for his army."
"Mister Berserker I don't know if you know this but me and Dr. Blaine are studying the cloning process not creating weapons for this blasted war!! We are on the verge of making History in the making!!"
"I can see that." Grime said.
Then he had a idea, an awful idea that would one day jeopardize not only the Kanto Region but the whole world. If they couldn't make him weapons I guess he had to make clones into weapons.
"So, how about this I after you finish with your clones you can sell them to me. I can make it worth your while by promising you high end jobs in Newtopia after we won the war and double your pay. What do you two say." Grime gave them a smirk.
"What do we do Fuji this Grime character is giving us new jobs and a lot of money I just don't know what to do? My twin brother Henry just came back from Newtopia he was very angry saying they were poisonous people." Blaine said undecided.
"Listen Blaine, I don't trust this Grime character either but we need his money we are running out of it. If Queen Rin hears about how we won't me able to pay next month's rent. She'll take away all of our equipment that includes Amber Two. Without monitoring her closely and not power to substantiate the clones before they are ready they will all die. I can't lose her again Blaine, so I'm going to take his deal what about you?" Dr. Fuji asked his friend.
Blaine thought about what his friends said and what his twin brother talked to him about he was undecided what choice to make but seeing his friend in distress he made his decision.
"All right Fuji I'll go along with it for now. If anything goes wrong we both will back out of it deal." Blaine said seriously.
"Deal old friend."
"Mister Grime we made our decision. I will sell you Bulbasaur Two, Charmander Two, and Squirtle Two, but Amber Two when they are ready, but I will not be sell Amber Two to your army do we have an agreement." Dr. Fuji said seriously.
Grime shook the good Doctor's hand "deal." he said.
"So how were you able to get this far with the cloning process?" Grime asked.
"We'll Captain Grime me, my colleague Blaine, and many others went to Mirage Island home too Mew to find it's DNA. We were able to take one sample of it for study purposes to unlock the cloning process. It took some trial and error but we were able to get it this far." Dr. Fuji said proudly.
"Can I see it Mew's DNA?" Grime asked.
"I'll let Blaine escort you to see the fossilized strand."
"Wonderful." Grime said eagerly as they went to Blaine's lab.
His lab was as neat as it can be, papers organized, bikes and chemicals neatly put away, and scientific tools had been cleaned and were on the table next to it was Mew's fossilized DNA.
Grime's eyes lighted up with pure excitement. He thought he could use it to clone a weapon or dare he thought a soldier that would obey him and the King's every command. This could guarantee them to win the war against Kanto. Maybe even promote him to General. Things were looking up for him.
"How about creating a clone using the fossilized strand here, but mix it with human DNA."
"I don't know Captain Grime, I'll ask Dr.Fuji about this." Blaine said.
"Good." Grime said.
Blaine and Fuji talked about what Grime suggested. They talked awhile but they agreed to it do to their circumstances. The question was who was going to donate the DNA. To their surprise Grime volunteers to donate his DNA. So Blaine was able to take out a vial or two of Grime's blood. A couple of months later the fruits of their labor and time had produced a small clone looking Mew but instead of pink it's color was purple and by the look of the clone it would grow even bigger then his original counter part. Dr. Fuji suggested due to human DNA mix in to it's original DNA cause it to become a mix breed of it to become part pokemon and part human.
Unfortunately as the year progressed Grime became more agitated and needed results, he needed that clone to turn it to a weapon. Grime would come into Dr. Fuji and Blaine's Lab demanding his new weapon. Both scientists would tell Grime the same thing to be patient or they needed more time to sort out any bugs that would affect the clones. Each time Grime will storm out in anger. After one year had passed something terrible happened to some of the clones they started to fade away from existence even Amber Two this broke him in two for losing his daughter twice now. The only good thing that happened was that the Mew clone had survived. Which Grime wouldn't kill them.
"Blaine I had enough of this!!!" Fuji shouted with rage and sadness.
"Fuji I know your upset about with losing Amber again, but the Mew clone is alive we can try again to bring her back." One glare from Dr. Fuji made him stop talking.
"I can't Blaine! I used up all of my daughter's DNA during the test runs, I used the last strand on this attempt this was my last shot" Dr. Fuji was sobbing while Blaine comfort him. "She was right Blaine I couldn't bring her back. I should have listened back then maybe she'll still be here."
Blaine knew Fuji's wife died last year due to a fatal stroke. He remembered him crying all night not getting any sleep that day.
"So what will you do now? We have to give Grime his clone due to our agreement." Blaine reminded him.
Dr. Fuji sighed, "I'll stay on with you Blaine until this nightmare is over and Grime will get his weapon. You can still leave Blaine go back to Cinnabar Island. You still are gym leader, I suppose we should thank the war happening because without the League canceling the gym challenge you would be outta of a job. As for me I have nothing left to go back to." Fuji said sadly.
"Well if you don't have anything then you should start from scratch until you find some place that feels like home." Blaine said smiling.
"You always know how to make me feel better dear friend."
It was now the second year, since the project began of cloning Mew. Now that the war was over Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine thought that Grime would have told them to scrape this project. Unfortunately that didn't happened you see after the war some soldiers had escaped from Orre to make a new life for themselves. They find out he was appointed as Gym Leader in Viridian City since he specialized in ground type pokemon. He also pulled some strings that a company called Dreamscape Inc. wanted to see the project. They were going to come here tomorrow to see it and if they see what they like they'll give you two jobs working for them. Blaine was excited of a chance of working at this new company.
"Grime I want to thank you for all you done for us by financing our project and giving us opportunities to get us jobs in Dreamscape Inc. For that I am great full but I'm going to pass on it. I decided to retire after the project and explore the region. Then chose a place to settle down."
"If that's what you want Dr. Fuji then I'll let you go after this is all over. As for you Mister Forge will you accept my offer or will you leave too?" Grime asked.
Blaine looked at Fuji with an undecided look.
"It's okay Blaine you can go with them if you want, but you'll have to decide if you want this or not? You should make this decision Blaine"
Blain thought for a second before answering Grime "Grime I'll accept you offer about going to Dreamscape Inc. It has been my dream to work at a company just like this one. I'll only be able to work there during the off season of the League though." Blaine explained.
"Don't worry Blaine my boss can help you with your schedule since he did mine now I'm a gym leader and work for Dreamscape Inc." Grime said as they laughed together as good friends do.
The next day Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine were getting ready for the arrival of Grime and some people that worked in Dreamscape Inc. Everything was going well so far during our examination of the Mew clone. It looked a lot bigger then it did two years ago. It's tail is wider and longer then the original's, so we're it's arms and legs. Me and Blaine predicted that the clone was the size of a human now.
Then one of the assistants said "Dr. Fuji, Dr. Blaine come quick it's the clone something's wrong. It's his brainwave's they have spiked all of the sudden and we don't know why?"
I can't lose this clone no matter what it's Blaine's ticket to make his dream to work in a scientific company like Dreamscape Inc. to come true. Even if I couldn't save Amber Two and the other clone pokemon I'll save this one.
"Don't just stand there do what you have to do to keep it alive! Everything is on the line now our jobs, our dreams, and our future!" Dr. Fuji said aggressively.
"Fuji look at the container it's breaking!" Blaine pointed at the clone's container as it was breaking at an alarming speed.
"Doctor what do we do?" Another assistant asked.
Unfortunately for me and Blaine we don't know what to do at this point. Then the container broke into pieces and the liquid that was in it spilled all over the floor. We were all in shock and worried if the clone would survive the outside world. But what me and Blaine don't know that the next few moments would change our fates drastically. Not only that but they may have created a monster. The clone started to open his eyes as it saw human's for the first time in his life.
"It's awake Dr. Fuji what should we do?!" The assistant asked.
"Let's just examined it and see if it's stable." Blaine said.
"Let's see if it can use his psychic powers." Dr. Fuji suggested.
"Psychic powers?" The clone said.
This shocked everyone that the clone could communicate with them telepathically. This excited everyone in the room except for the clone.
"Yes… For two years, we've been studying the cloning process to try to create something out of nothing. But… you you're are the only one to survive." Blaine showed the clone a carved picture of Mew when he asked Eric Stone to take a picture of it to commemorate their finding the fossilized DNA of Mew. The clone looked at the feline picture intensely. "This is Mew, it's revered as a god, the strongest pokemon we know of. And from its DNA we created you… Mewtwo." Dr. Fuji explained.
"Mew…two?" The newly born clone asked as it repeated. "Is that all I am? A mere copy? Nothing…but a shadow of Mew." Mewtwo said feeling very hurt of finding out the truth of it's exsistance.
"That's is we're your wrong. You are greater than Mew! You are beyond a god! You are the fruits of the epitome of scientific integrity. You are the strongest pokemon in the world!" Dr. Fuji explained. "We have our knowledge to enhance your psychic powers far beyond Mew's capabilities."
"So I'm a scientific experiments?" Mewtwo nodded neutral on the outside but on the inside he started to feel angry. "What happens to me, now that your experiments are over?" It asked.
"Oh, our experiments are just getting started." Dr Fuji replied. Knowing that Dreamscape Inc. would want to runs some tests on Mewtwo. He smiled at himself that he was helping the world and his friend Blaine. Blaine however was beginning to notice his friends growing arrogance ever since Mewtwo had been born.
"Oh our experiments are just getting started." Dr. Fuji said arrogantly replied.
Something snapped inside the psychic type, and now they will feel his wrath. "These humans care nothing for me…" It said as Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine congratulated the assistants that Grime hired two years ago for a job well done.
"My purpose can not be a lab experiment! I won't accept this! This cannot be my destiny!" Mewtwo screamed as he created a blue ball of psychic energy around itself.
The bright light in Mewtwo's eyes glowed cold blue. As it was tearing the lab apart piece by piece. "Stop it!" Dr. Fuji said. But Mewtwo does not listen to Fuji instead it fueled him with more rage. Then there was a fire in the lab now because of Mewtwo's actions.
Then Dr. Fuji looked at Mewtwo and said "it was once my dream to bring back my daughter Amber, but down the road my dream changed into something diabolical that me and Blaine helped create. Grime's dream was to create the strongest clone and we succeeded." Blaine on the other hand was on the right side of the lab next to the wall to protect himself from Mewtwo's wrath. He thought how did it come to this. A few moments later the entire island exploded it destroyed all the assistants but luck would have it only Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine survived the blast. It was the rubble that acted as a sturdy shield that protected him from the blast. Blaine however was far enough away from Mewtwo to keep himself from not ending up like the assistants. Unfortunately they were both had injuries. Blaine had hit his head during the blast causing a wound on his head he was only bleeding a little bit thankfully. Dr. Fuji body however was covered in rubble, no one could see his body, and he was unconscious.
Moments later a helicopter was approaching the island with the Dreamscape logo on it. The shape was a yellow star surrounded by three gems blue, green, and pink. Grime and his newly caught Persian saw the ruins of once stood the Newtopia lab King Aldrich constructed himself.
As he was petting Persian he gave out an evil smirk. "Take us down men we must see what happened here?" Grime said to the pilots but knew who caused this destruction but he needed not to raise suspicion. Two people who worked for Dreamscape Inc. One was a Tiawanese,
with short black hair wearing glasses, light grey polo shirt, dark olive tie, black grayish pants, also his shoes too, and a white lab coat. He was a scientist that worked for Dreamscape Inc.
The women had peach skin long blond hair and wearing a blue and silver guard uniform. She works as Grime's bodyguard in Dreamscape Inc.
As the helicopter land on the destroyed island the Taiwanese scientist saw an mild injured Blaine, he was checking for a pulse on his neck. When got a pulse he shouted, "Captain Grime we got a survivor!"
"Good you two bring him back to the helicopter. I'm going to find who or what caused this?" Captain Grime said.
"Understood sir." The blond hair said as she and the Taiwanese scientist carried Blane's body to the helicopter so he can be treated.
Grime and his Persian walked until he recognized the clone that Dr. Fuji and Dr. Blaine made for him 2 years ago. He and Persian stand there when the clone was talking telepathically.
"Behold my power! I am… the strongest pokemon in the world. Stronger… even Mew." Is said as he shattered the picture of the pokemon it was cloned from.
"That fool Fuji thought you are a science experiment. But I see you as something much more… A valuable partner." A voice startled Mewtwo as he look around he saw Grime and his Persian standing there eagerly looking at him, this grabbed his attention.
"Partner?" Mewtwo asked, unsure of whether to trust this man or not.
"Together with your psychic powers and my resources, we can control the world." Grime said with a sly smirk.
"I do not need your help." Mewtwo replied.
"A wild fire destroys everything in your path, it will be the same unless you learn to control them! I can help you do that!" Grime said.
"How?" Mewtwo asked.
"Trust me. And I'll show you the way to focus your powers that would make you invincible." Grime said.
"Show me." The psychic type said, bringing the smirk back on Grime's face. That day Mewtwo and Grime became partners. Grime helped him control his powers while Mewtwo served him for a couple of years. It would be after Hikari and her three friends will get their eighth gym badge. That Mewtwo will find out the truth about Grime. That will set him on the path to evil until a brave young trainer helps him see the error of his ways.
A few week later Dr. Fuji woke up from his unconsciousness. He saw he was in a white room as he was laying on a bed. He must have been brought into a hospital since the island was destroy by his clone Mewtwo. He was lucky to be alive, since some weren't so lucky to survive.
"Your awake, Dr. Fuji I'm so glad your all right me and Lucario found you underneath some rubble, we were able to get it off your body. Then I had Lucario to use healing pulse to fix some of your injuries. We were able to take you back to the Kanto region. Your in Lavender Town Hospital Dr. Fuji." Sir Arron told him.
When Dr.Fuji got a good look at the man. He looked like the same man that helped him and Blaine to escort him to the temple on Mariage Island. There were some differences, he was older now, and he dressed differently then the last time he saw him.
"Where is Blaine and everyone else?" Dr. Fuji asked.
Arron and Lucario looked very sad when he asked if there were any other survivors.
"I'm sorry Dr. Fuji there were no other survivors on that island. When Queen Rin had asked me to investigate the rumors of what some people saw when the island exploded. Me and Lucario checked all around the island looking who had survived that blast. We only found you banged up and unconscious but, you were still alive and you already know what happened next." Arron told him.
"What about Mewtwo did you and Lucario run into him.?" Dr. Fuji asked.
Arron and Lucario were puzzled of what Dr. Fuji just said to them.
"What's a Mewtwo? There were no other pokemon on the island only you and what's left on the island."
"Oh Arceus, what have I done!" He said in agony.
"What have you done Dr. Fuji?" Sir Arron asked.
Me and Blaine helped a guy named Grime to create the strongest pokemon in the world. By using the fossil DNA we found when we where on Mirage Island. I mixed it with human DNA as a request from Grime 2 years ago. He came to us when he asked to create weapons for him in the war against Kanto. Me and Blaine refused at first, but then he decided ask us to create a Mew clone. He offered money and a place with new equipment for our project that's how we went to that island in the first place. After a year I lost my daughter again only this time a clone. It was like losing her all over again. The only thing that survived the longest was the Mew clone. Then another year later the clone had fully awaken we name it Mewtwo , everyone was so happy that we were able to bring life to the world. What we didn't know is that we created was a monster. It tore the lab apart with it's psychic powers which caused the explosion. I feared we had put the whole world in danger. I am so sorry Amber and Blaine. If I hadn't been obsessed to bring back my daughter and accept her death none of this wouldn't have happen." Dr. Fuji was now crying full of tears. He felt so remorse of what he had done.
"Dr. Fuji you just made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, even I made mistakes, Blaine made mistakes, your daughter Amber made mistakes. What's important is you learn from them." Arron said to comfort the sobbing Doctor.
"As for Mewtwo if he shows up again me and Lucario will handle this." Arron said with confidence.
"We'll take him on together." Lucario said.
"I must warn you Sir Arron. Mewtwo is not like other pokemon you face before he is pure evil and his powers even has surpassed his original self. If you ever cross paths with him. Please prepare yourself it will be a tough battle." Dr. Fuji warned him.
"Don't worry Dr. Fuji with Lucario by my side Mewtwo will be no match for us." Arron said.
Which shocked the Fuji. He thought maybe he can right all the wrongs I have done my taking down Mewtwo.
Back to present: Arron and Lucario were heading back to the village. Arron turned around to look at the temple one last time remembering everything that happened during the expedition and after.
"Lucario let's go back home. Hikari has a big day tomorrow." Sir Arron said.
"Oh is that time already for the aura guardian ceremony for Hikari?" Lucario asked.
"The very same one I had to do when I was her age when Queen Rin and Scarlet found me. I was trained by my master to learn the gift of aura from him. I do miss him Lucario. It can't be helped that he had to return to Kalos to be with his family and take over his family gym."
"I'm sure he would have been proud of you of what you had accomplished and are now going to train your daughter as a new aura guardian."
"Indeed Lucario let's go home and see what Scarlet made us for dinner I'm starving."
Lucario just laughed at his best friends antics.
