The girls finally made to the ship as they were closer to it. Ariel starts climbing onto the side of the ship along with Madison. Madison tried to climb as much as she could until she reached beside Ariel and the two peaked through to see sailors dancing.
The girls smiled to see them having fun and a good time until Madison saw a certain Sheepdog barking and running around the ship. Madison looked at him smiled until she saw him sniffing at the floor and heading straight towards her and Ariel. Madison starting to see that the dog have caught their scent and starts hiding from him. They looked at each and as they looked, they saw the dog looking at them, panting and smiling.
He licked Ariel's cheek and then Madison which made her giggle a little but not too loud until they heard a whistle and a voice.
"Max, here boy." the voice spoke, and the dog took off.
The girls peaked back again and watched the dog go to a certain man. Madison knew who that man was, and it was none other than Prince Eric himself.
"Max, here boy. Hey, come on, mutt, whatcha doing, huh Max?" he spoke to his dog.
The Sheep dog got on his master and licks him. Eric laughs and plays around with his dog. Madison smiled at the two but as she looked at Ariel, she saw the dreamy look on her face with smile. Madison grinned at her and looked back at the two until they heard another voice.
"Hey there, sweeties!" a voice hollered.
The girls turned and saw that it was Scuttle flying by.
"Quite a show, eh?" he asked with a loud voice, but Madison tried to shush him.
"Scuttle, be quiet! They'll hear you." said Ariel.
"Oooh, I gotcha, I gotcha. We're being intrepidatious." he said in a low voice as he was near between the girls, looking at the humans until he squaked, "WE'RE OUT TO DISCOVER!"
"Be quiet, will you?!" Madison shushed him as she grabbed him down and Ariel grabbed his beak.
"I've never seen a human this close before." she said as she looked at Eric, playing his flute and the dog was jumping and howling.
'I am human, Ariel. I'll tell you about me soon when the time is right.' Madison thought as she looked at Ariel who was still looking at Eric.
"Oh, he's very handsome, isn't he?" she asked.
"He sure is." Madison replied softly.
"I dunno, he looks kinda hairy and slobbery to me." said Scuttle as he was looking at Max. Madison chuckled.
"Not that one, the one playing the snarfblat." said Ariel as she showed Scuttle to look at Eric.
"Silence! Silence!" a voice called out. Madison and the other two looked and saw a thin man which is a confident caretaker, passing through the sailors. Madison knew who that was and that was Grimsby.
"It is now my honor and privilege to present our esteemed Prince Eric with a very special, very expensive, very large birthday present." he announced as he shows a large object that was covered by a large tarp.
"Ah, Grimsby, you old beanpole, you shouldn't have." he said to him as he gave him a pat on the back.
"I know. Happy Birthday, Eric."
The sailor grabbed the large tarp and pull. Madison watched to see the object under the tarp was a large, gaudy statue of the prince. She could see that Eric was not liking it and Max growled.
'I would say it look... a little too much for him.' she thought.
"Gee, Grim. It's, err, it's, err, it's really something." he spoke as he looked at him.
"Yes, I commissioned it myself. Of course, I had hoped it would be a wedding present, but..." before Grimsby could speak more, Eric laugh.
"Come on, Grim, don't start." he said as he grabbed his telescope and heading to the direction to where the girls and Scuttle are.
The three quickly hid as Eric was close but they could still hear him.
"Look, you're not still sore because I didn't fall for the princess of Glauerhaven, are you?" he asked as he toss the telescope to the caretaker and sat on the side of the deck.
"Oh, Eric, it isn't me alone. The entire kingdom wants to see you happily settled down with the right girl." said Grimsby.
"Well, she's out there somewhere. I just... I just haven't found her yet."
Madison looked at Eric from above but looked at Ariel who couldn't take her eyes off of him and had a dreamy smile.
"Well, perhaps you haven't been looking hard enough." said Grimsby.
"Believe me, Grim, when I find her, I'll know without a doubt. It'll just - bam! Hit me, like lightning." he replied until a thunder roar and lightning flash.
The girls and Scuttle looked up to see the storm have come and the wind starts blowing hard.
"Hurricane a coming! Stand fast! Secure the rigging!" a sailor shout from the nest.
"Maddie, hold on tight." said Ariel as she was holding onto the rope.
Madison starts holding onto the other rope as the sea became rough and wind was blowing harder. Rain came pouring down and Madison could hear Max barking.
"Whoa! The wind's all of sudden on the move here." Scuttle exclaimed.
Madison looked to see Scuttle holding onto the rope from his foot. Madison tried to grab him, but the wind blew him away.
"Ariel! Maddie!" he yelled to him.
Madison kept holding on tight as a huge wave by onto the ship. The girls kept holding on but with the wind blew them away and land into the sea. They quickly swam back to the surface and saw lightning flash. It hit the sail and fire appear.
This was the first time Madison seen such a terrible sight on the ship as fire was spreading everywhere. She along with Ariel saw the ship crashed to the rocks and Madison saw a couple of sailors overboard until she heard backing.
Max was still on the ship while the others were on a rowboat. That poor dog will get killed until Eric jumped off the small boat and climbed up to the fired ship. Madison watched to see Eric and Max around but gasped to see the large mast come crashing down.
This felt like it was too much for her to see this, feel like she wanted to help but she can't on a count of sailors that will spot her. She saw Eric threw Max overboard to the sea, but she didn't see him jump off until an explosion came, and the ship was sinking down.
"We got to find him!" said Ariel as she saw the horrible explosion and starts swimming.
Without hesitation, Madison starts to follow her.
The two looked around, seeing nothing but debris of broken wood and barrels until Madison spotted something.
"Ariel, look!" she pointed.
Ariel turned and saw Eric, holding onto a broken wood but was unconscious and starts to sink. The girls quickly dive in towards the prince and quickly take him up to the surface.
"We need to take him somewhere. Find a shore." said Madison.
Ariel nods her head and drag him away from the ship as it sank down to the ocean.
Moments later, dawn have already approach and the girls were on the shore with Eric who was still unconscious. Madison was only at the shallow water, feeling worried while Ariel was close to him. Suddenly, Scuttle came flying and approach to him.
"Is he dead?" Ariel asked him.
"It's hard to say." he answered as he opens one of Eric's eyelids and then walks up to the legs. He lifts one of Eric's feet and place his head near it. "Oh, I... I can't make out a heartbeat."
Madison shook her head at Scuttle but looked at Ariel.
"No, look! He's breathing." she said as she looked at Eric, "He's so beautiful."
Ariel: What would I give
To live where you are?
What would I pay
To stay here beside you?
What would I do to see you
Smiling at me?
Suddenly as another wave came, Sebastian and Flounder arrived at the shore but as Sebastian saw Ariel with a human, his mouth dropped, but Scuttle closed it.
Ariel: Where would we walk?
Where would we run?
If we could stay all day in the sun?
Just you and me
And I could be

Madison looked to see that Eric was slowly opening his eyes and turned to see Ariel, singing until she along with Ariel heard a loud barking. They look up to see Max coming and the girls hurried back to the sea. They hid by the rocks to see Grimsby helping Eric up and Max was swimming but went back to shore as Grimsby and Eric starts leaving.
"We just gotta forget this whole thing ever happened. The sea king will never know. You won't tell him; I won't tell him. I will stay in one piece." said Sebastian as he was on top of Flounder.
'Yeah right.' Madison spoke to her thoughts as she rolled her eyes at the crab but look back at Ariel as she was still staring at Eric.
Ariel: I don't know when
I don't know how
But I know something's starting right now
Watch and you'll see

"Ariel. We need to go back. You need to get home or else your father be worried." said Sebastian.
"Yes." the mermaid replied in a dreamy voice as she was still staring.
"Come on." Madison chuckled as she gently pulls Ariel down and dive down along with Sebastian and Flounder.
Madison kept on swimming until she stopped.
"You guys need to go without me, okay? Why not I wait here until you guys get here?"
"Sure." Ariel replied and continue swimming along with the others.
Madison swam down and sat on a flat rock, seeing that she's surrounded by beautiful, colorful flowers. She lies down on the rock, looking at the sun rays through the ocean while waiting her friends to come back.
