"Will you, Jack Frost, vow to watch over the children of the world?" North begins with Jack and the kids come over standing by Rebecca. "To guard them with your life - their hopes, their wishes, and their dreams, for they are all that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be."
Jack looks back to Jamie and Rebecca, who nod and smile encouragingly at him. "I will." North continues "Then, congratulations, Jack Frost - for you are now, and forevermore, a Guardian!" Everyone else cheers, while North picks Jack up. "Klassno!" He kisses each of Jack's cheeks, then sets him back down. Pitch looks disturbed by this making Rebecca laugh.
Bunny calls to Jack over North laughing "That's my boy!"
Tooth smiles while keeping her fairies in line. Then North begins again as Jack stands with Shadow and Jamie
"Will you, Pitch Black, vow to watch over the children of the world? To guard them with your life - their hopes, their wishes, and their dreams, for they are all that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be."
"I will." Pitch vows sounding confident and happy
"Then, congratulations, Pitch Black - for you are now, and forevermore, a Guardian!" this time North doesn't kiss him but he does clap him on the back. The kids cheer, then notice North's sleigh and reindeer approach.
Jamie's friends are in awe of the sleigh "Everyone loves the sleigh." Bunny says with a smile before saying goodbye to Sophie but Jamie looks up at Rebecca and Jack "You're leaving? But what if Pitch comes back? What if we stop believing again? If I can't see you--" Jack crouches down as Rebecca smiles slightly "Hey, hey. Slow down, slow down. Y-you telling me that you stop believing in the moon when the sun comes up?"
"No..."
Rebecca takes a go "Okay, well do you stop believing in the sun when clouds block it out?"
Jamie chuckles "No..."
Jack and Rebecca then share a look before reassuring Jamie "We'll always be there, Jamie. And now, we'll always be here - [he touches Jamie's chest] - which kinda makes you a Guardian, too." They stand up and walk away.
But Jamie shouts "Jack!" He runs up and gives Jack a hug, stunning Jack, but Jack returns the hug. Then Jamie turns and does the same with Rebecca who gladly returns the gesture. "I'll see you soon Jamie." she whispers
All of the Guardians are on the sleigh when Jack and Rebecca hop on they fly off out into the sky and the two teens wave to the kids until they are out of sight.
Back at the Pole Rebecca gathers everyone in the globe room. "I believe someone is missing." they all nod looking sad and guilty - Pitch. Rebecca smiles making her blue dust swirl while adding some frost and nightmare sand that when it falls away it leaves Sandman in all his glory. "Welcome back." he smiles gratefully at the young girl having been told by Manny about the girl and her purpose. As they greet him, Rebecca walks to look over a balcony at the Moon. "Thank you for letting me stay with him." she whispers
"Yeah thanks for letting me keep her. And for giving me this life." a voice agrees. "Jack!" she hugs him as he kisses her hair. "I'm supposed to be the guardian of the guardians you know." "Yeah, Sandy told us." they look at one enough saying everything without a word and both either realise they are sharing a very passionate kiss. "Okay get a room." they laugh looking at Bunny. "We need a word." back inside the guardians are trying to understand why they still had so much strength with only one believer. Rebecca sighs "Because there wasn't just one believer their was three, possibly four." they look at her waiting to hear more having come to the quick conclusion that Jack's Shadow is very special. "Well you have Jamie, possibly Sophie though she might not count since she doesn't fully understand yet. And you also have me and Jack. We maybe immortal but we're still children since we're 17 forever."
Suddenly the older guardians look ashamed and guilty, having just realised that they left a child alone for 288 years with no one until a special little girl choice to stay with him. Their job was to protect children and they failed the one who needed the most help. "Oh Jack we're so sorry." Jack smiles "Don't worry about it, if things were different I wouldn't have met this one and I wouldn't have been able to help you connect with the kids so well."
That night they all had a needed rest and family time because that's what they were... a family. They were a family because of the two children who had more sense than they did but still knew how to be themselves and be a child. They were happy well happy until the children began to cause trouble and be lovey-dovey.
