Mike was always ftm trans and he was happy with only his family knowing his secret not even his friends knew but when he went to elevens house she found out.
"You are female? But look male?" Eleven spoke will only nodded then Responded " I'm transgender ftm which means that I was born female but I'm male" she nodded with calculating eyes. Unfortunately for both of them hopper was standing in the door "so your trans mike" he nodded with an uncaring expression and said "eggos are on the table there's some problems at the station so I'll be back in a bit"
They both nodded with their mouths stuffed with eggo waffles. Once he left she asked "have you told our friends or not" he shook his head and said "not yet" they both got up then put the plates in the sink. Mike and eleven we're having a conversation about dnd an waffles when they heard the door open and shut.
They both looked at each other then decided to see if hopper was home when it had only been an hour and a half but instead of seeing hopper they saw Will,Dustin and Lucas standing in the hallway . Mike just said hi then walked over to the table and picked his book up but eleven hugged Will and said hi to the others then they continued their conversation about waffles.
The boys tried to join their conversation but failed so they just listened in and when they did just listen they weren't expecting to hear eleven ask what being transgender is like they gaped and stared at both mike and eleven confused. All of them noticed how mike froze after being asked that question. "Eleven can I talk to you for a second... alone" she nodded and we spoke "why did you ask that none of them knew" her face showed guilt as she spoke "sorry" he sighed " it's fine but please don't say anything about transgender around them" she nodded once again.
They walked back both with monotone expressions plastered on their face that heard another knock at the door, it was Hopper " all of you back home now " Lucas and Dustin were about to leave but Mike had to ask "whyyy we just got here" hopper sighed in annoyance " go on your parents will be worried" the reluctantly left which made will the only one left. Hopper began to speak again "you better get going as well kid"
He was about to go and leave but eleven had an iron grip on his hand after a couple minutes of silence she spoke "why can't he stay here" he sighed once again and replied "because his mother will worried and you can't just kidnap him so let go of him" they both had a staring contest but hopper gave in "fine he can stay for one day then he's going back home alright" she nodded happily then replied "okay."
