She steps out of the pool of blood, her skin glistening as it drips from her, her linen gown clings to her with silver accents above it; she likes to live dangerously, and who wouldn't, she is the first vampiress after all: Lilith.

She stretches from the blood calling "Vlad where are you?" He doesn't respond, her fellow partner in crime is no where to be found and so she walks towards the exit of her tomb, how long has she been resting: 300 years? Probably more like a few thousand, time passes rather quickly in hibernation and her joints as so stiff, her palate dry, and her skin pulling taut at her nails. She looks at her reflection in the blood, she still retains her young beauty yet her skin feels crisp from having not fed for so long.

She hears a heartbeat outside and follows it, she finds a man encased in stone and looks at it, a bag of silver coins has been discarded in front of it, she looks at the image in the stone; a young woman, she thinks nothing of it and walks outside, it's night thankfully and the world around her is covered in vines, discarded to nature like the forgotten empire which she had left when she had fallen asleep.

She sees a figure, a corpse like thing which sweats putridly.

"King Herod" she remarks "Have you seen Vlad?"

"Yes I have, he is in Greendale, around the green man"

"Thank you" says Lilith as she walks over a corpse which has been covered in vines, leaves, and has flowers for her eyes. She spins in a circle transforming into a bat and takes flight so this so called: Greendale.

She encounters Centurion at the border, his skin dried similarly to a mummies.

"Ahh Lilith it has been so long" he says to her as Lilith pounces down as a bat to the ground morphing back into her feminine form. "I have missed you."

"And I you" she embraces him "I sense demonic energy in the air, do you as well?"

"Greendale is a portal to hell, malady, the other Lilith visits us every once in a while, it has been so very long since her demons collected or possessed another soul."

"Hmmm, tell me Centurion, have you see Vlad by chance?"

"Yes, actually-" Centurion is cut off by Vlad the Impaler waltzing over to Lilith with his arms open.

"Lilith, ah how I have missed you."

"I was wondering where your skeleton went" she unhooks the drawstring bag holding the coins from her wrist, handing it to him "Here you dropped your coins."

"Thank you my dear friend" he says adjusting his axe. "Tell me did you pass a mere mortal girl in our tomb? A celestial?"

"I passed a girl encased in stone, why do you ask?"

"It's a shame, we were hoping that she may come along and help us fix this mess, some older gods have summoned the Green Man and I am so very thirsty."

"I as well" Lilith places a hand under her chin in thought "the Green Man would explain the absence in mortals walking this realm, their corpses do house his seed after all."

"They are 'zombified' as these mortals used to say. Or at least they did a few hundred years ago" Centurion chuckles to himself "These mortals can be such fools."

"Yes" Lilith sees a 'zombie' or rather mummified plant corpse walk towards them "Tell me my friends; my partners in crime, do these creatures ignore us? Or do they hunger for immortal flesh as well?"

"They do not care for us" Vlad says as he looks up at the Green man structure through the trees.

"Unfortunate, I was hoping to have some fun" Lilith approaches one of them, digging her hand into their arm and ripping it off "They do not even bleed." She tsks to herself and shrugs her shoulders before walking away into the sunrise. "I suppose I will head back to our tomb and welcome the rest of the nest?"

"Yes I think that would be best, it has been a while since vampires have waltzed this earth and with the angels and demons I think it's about time we play our part in this revelation." Vlad says before morphing into a bat and resting in a tree.

"Until then my friend" Lilith disappears behind the tree taking flight as a bat around the side disappearing into the sky.
