Madison returned home when she went out with her mom for a few errands. She liked that going out, even she wants to stop at an art store to see if any new art books she wants to get or get for Birthday or Christmas. But nothing new.
She went to the kitchen to grab a snack before her dad makes dinner and went up the stairs. She finally reached to her room, sat on her bed, and turn her TV on. She got to the Hulu channel and searched for a certain movie until she found it. Shrek.
Madison press play and the movie starts. While she was watching, Madison grabbed one of her sketch books and was sketching a picture. Once she finished outlining, she starts coloring with different shades of blue.
"Well... what do you think?" she asked as she held her picture up and look at her necklace.
The picture she drawn was a dragon. A dragon with blue wings. The necklace glowed twice as an approval.
"Thanks." she smiled as she looked at the picture but then continue watching the movie.
The finally finished and it was evening already. Madison went to her laptop and watch YouTube videos, but she can smell the scene of food that her dad was making. Pizza. Homemade pizza. She continued playing until she heard her mom's voice.
"Madison!" she hollered.
"I'm coming!" she shouts in reply as she knew that the food is ready.
Madison paused the video she was watching and head downstairs to the kitchen.
Moment later, she ate four or five slices of her pizza until she was full and continue watching some videos. But as nighttime came around nine, her eyes were starting to become heavy. Before she went to bed, Madison have already said goodnight to her parents, kiss their foreheads, and then went upstairs to her room.
Madison got under the covers and turn her heating mattress on, as the night will become colder.
"Well... this is it. Get ready for an adventure in Shrek's world." she said and the necklace glow.
She lay down on her bed and her eyes closed until she fell asleep, and the necklace began to glow.
