Madison's slowly opened her eyes as she heard birds tweeting. She let out a yawn and decide to close her eyes for a bit but then she felt her face being licked.

"Oh! Zor!" she groaned. She looked at the baby dragon, seeing how happy he is but also looked at the bag.

"I'm sorry, Zor. I don't have any meat. You ate it all on journey to save Fiona." she said to him.

Zor whimpered hearing of no meat and giving her the sad eyes.

"Come on," she spoke as she got up, "Let's go find something for you to hunt."

Just before they were about to head to the forest, Madison heard something coming from the cave. She and Zor turned around and saw Fiona coming out of the cave as she opened the door.

"Oh! Um... good morning, your highness." she spoke softly as she curtsied to her.

"No please, Lady Madison. There's no need for formality." she spoke to her.

"Oh." Madison turned her head to look out the morning view, "Nice morning, huh?"

"Sure is. I thought a small morning stroll would be alright and then we come back here." said Fiona as she turned to see Shrek and Donkey, who are still sleeping, and then turned to face Madison, "Would you like to come?"

"Sure." she smiled. "I like to. If it's alright with Zor."

Zor chirped happily which made Madison smiled.

"Let's go." she replied and the girls along Zor went off.

Inside the forest, as they were walking around, Madison looked at the princess as she was curious of something.

"Fiona, or if I call you Fi, can I... ask you something?" she asked.

Fiona looked at her by surprise. A surprised look like no one has ever call her "Fi" before.

"Of course. What is it you want to ask?"

"Back at camp. Why did you ask me to stay by your cave with you?" she asked.

Fiona paused for a moment and looked at her as she remembered last evening of allowing Madison and her dragon to stay with her.

"I don't know. Inside of me was telling me that I should trust you."

"Trust me?" Madison questioned.

Fiona nods her head and sighs.

"The only reason is... It's so hard to keeping secrets from other people, who never understands me in life. Since you're a kind person, Lady Madison. Or should I call you just Madison?"

"You can call me Madison or Maddie for short. I prefer Maddie that way." she smiled.

"Alright... Maddie." she said and continued her talk, "You see... I'm... I'm cursed."

"Cursed? You mean like you're under a spell?" Madison asked but she knows that answered.

"Yes."

"What kind of curse?"

"Well... It's the one that changes me each and every night. I been living with it ever since I was a little girl."

"So... that's why you look worried when you looked at the sunset."

"Yes." Fiona nodded. "And the only way to break the spell is by true love's first kiss. That's why, I was placed in the tower and waiting for my one true love to come rescue me."

"Until Shrek, Donkey, Zor, and I came." said Madison.

The princess nodded her head but then spotted a blue bird sitting on a nest. She starts singing which Madison knows what was gonna happen move back away. The blue bird singed along with her but as the notes went higher from the princess voice, Madison covered her ears as the bird struggles to keep up with the note until... it exploded. Both of the girls looked at each other while Fiona looks a little sheepish as they see the feet that belong to the bird.

"Oh my..." that was that Madison could say until she notices eggs in the nest.

Fiona hates taking the eggs if anyone is hungry for breakfast. But it looks like there wasn't any choice. She carefully grabbed the nest and hold it in her hands.

"Let's get back to the camp, Maddie." the princess suggested.

"Alright. Zor? Zor?" Madison hollered as she notices her baby dragon wasn't around but suddenly, she saw him popped out of the bush with an animal he caught in his mouth. "Looks like you found your breakfast. Huh?" she said, and Zor wagged his tail.

"We better get going." said Fiona and all three starts heading back to the camp.

Once they were back, Fiona was cooking the eggs while Madison already eating hers and Zor ate his breakfast. Suddenly, a yawn came from Shrek as he was waking up. He looked up to his surprise seeing Fiona and Madison are already up but to see the princess cooking.

"Mmm, yeah, you know I like it like that. Come on, baby. I said I like it..." Donkey was talking in his sleep until Shrek starts shaking him.

"Donkey. Wake up."

"Huh? What?"

"Wake up."

Donkey yawns and stretch as he was about to get up. "What?"

"Good morning." Fiona spoke as she was still cooking. "Uh, how do you like your eggs?"

"Oh, good morning, Princess!" Donkey was now and smiling at Fiona.

"What's all this about?" Shrek looked confused.

"You know, we kind of got off to a bad start yesterday. I wanted to make it up to you." said Fiona as she picked the rock of eggs with a leaf and placed it in front of them. "I mean, after all, you did rescue me."

"Uh, thanks." the ogre replied.

Donkey sniffs the eggs and licks his lips, knowing how delicious it looks.

"Well, eat up. We've got a big day ahead of us." said Fiona as she smiled and walks off.

Madison looked at the guys as they were confused on what was going on, but she smirked and continued eating her food until she was finished.

Moments later, all five were walking through the woods. Everything was in silent until Shrek let out a burp.

"Shrek!" Donkey exclaimed.

"What? It's a compliment. Better out than in, I always say." Shrek laughs.

"Well, it's no way to behave in front of a princess!" said Donkey until Fiona burps a loud one.

Shrek and Donkey looked at her by surprise, but Madison just chuckled until she let out a small gasp.

Something or someone grabbed her and was flying until she landed by a bended tree. Madison looked at how high she was and held onto a tree branch beside her.

"Fear not cherie, I'll be right back." a voice spoke.

Madison looked up and saw that man for he was none other than Robin Hood himself and swung from a vine.

She looked down and saw the others but saw Fiona singing softly until...

"La liberte! Hey!"

There he was again, swooping Fiona out of nowhere and landed on the tree where Madison is.

"Oh! Wait, wait... what are you doing?!" Fiona looked at him as he was not happy.

"Be still, mon cheries, for I am you savior! And I am rescuing you from this green..." Robin Hood was kissing the princess's hand but she was in disgust, "...beast."

"Hey! That's my princess and my companion! Go find you own!" Shrek shouted at him.

"Please, monster! Can't you see I'm a little busy here?"

"Look, pal, I don't know who you think you are!" Fiona spoke as she was getting fed up.

"Oh! Of course! Oh, how rude. Please let me introduce myself. Oh, Merry Men!" he shouted and laughs until a accordion begins playing.

"Oh boy..." Madison muttered and a couple of Hood's Merry Men popped out.

Merry Men: Ta, dah, dah, dah, whoo.

Robin Hood: I steal from the rich and give to the needy.

Merry Man: He takes a wee percentage,

Robin Hood: But I'm not greedy.

I rescue pretty damsels, man, I'm good.

Merry Men: What a guy, Monsieur Hood.

Robin Hood: Break it down.

I like an honest fight and a saucy little maid...

Merry Men: What he's basically saying is he likes to get...

Robin Hood: Paid!

So... When an ogre in the bush grabs a lady by the tush.

That's bad.

Merry Men: That's bad. That's bad. That's bad!

Madison watched as the merry men were getting closer to Shrek until he saw Hood grabbed a dagger from his belt.

Robin Hood: When a beauty with a beast it makes me awfully mad!

Merry Men: He's mad, he's really, really mad!

Robin Hood: I'll take my blade and ram it through your heart,

Keep your eyes on me, boys 'cause I'm about to start...

Suddenly, Madison witness Fiona got off the tree with a vine and knocked Hood by the head. Madison smiled to see this part but right now she needs to find a way to get down.

"Man, that was an annoying!" Fiona exclaimed.

"Oh! You little..." one of the merry men grabbed an arrow and bow.

"Watch out!" Madison cried out.

Fiona ducked from the arrow and headed straight towards Donkey. Luckily, he jumped into Shrek's arms away from the arrow and Fiona starts fighting.

Madison looked around to find some way to get down until she saw the vine. She scooted carefully from the tree but watched as Fiona continued with her martial arts.

"Get them, Fi! Get them!" she shouted as she reached to the vine and slowly sliding down.

She reached to the bottom and stood beside Shrek, Donkey, and Zor and watched. Madison was impressed by her moves while the others looked completely shocked.

Once Fiona was finished her fight, she looked around to see the merry men knocked down and headed towards the guys with jaws dropped but Madison's face was still in impression.

"Uh, shall we?" she spoked and then walked past them, but Madison and Zor followed her.

"Hold the phone." Shrek dropped Donkey and caught up with the girls, "Oh! Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on now. Where did that come from?" he asked as he looked at the princess.

"What?"

"That! Back there. That was amazing!"

"Awesome I would say." said Madison and Zor chirped.

"Where did you learn that?" he asked.

Fiona blushed by the compliment as she walked past him.

"Well... when one lives alone, uh, one has to learn these things in case there's a..." before Fiona could finished, she turned around and gasped, "there's an arrow in your butt!"

"What?"

Madison looked to see the arrow that was in Shrek's behind.

"Ooh!" she cringed.

"Oh, would you look at that?" Shrek tries to pull the arrow, but he flinched as he felt the pain.

"Oh, no. This is all my fault. I'm so sorry." Fiona apologized.

"It's not your fault, Fi. It's those stupid merry men that done it." said Madison and saw Zor behind him as he had his mouth towards the arrow. "Zor, no!"

Madison quickly grabbed Zor from Shrek and looked at him.

"Don't do that. It'll make it worse."

"Why? What's wrong?" Donkey spoke as he came to them.

"Shrek's hurt." Fiona answered and the donkey panicked.

"Shrek's hurt! Shrek's hurt?! Oh, no, Shrek's gonna die!"

"Donkey, I'm okay." said Shrek.

"You can't do this to me, Shrek. I'm too young for you to die! Keep your legs elevated! Turn your head and cough! Does anyone know the Heimlich?!"

"Donkey!" Fiona grabbed Donkey by the ear and looked at him, "Calm down! If you want to help Shrek, run into the woods and find me a blue flower with red thorns."

"Blue flower, red thorns. Okay, I'm on it. Blue flower, red thorns. Don't die Shrek. If you see a long tunnel, stay away from the light!"

"Donkey!" the girls and Shrek exclaimed.

"Oh, yeah. Right. Blue flower, red thorns." he repeated and ran off to a direction.

Madison kneels down and whispered to her dragon, "Why not you go with him? Help him out, will you?"

Zor nods his head and ran off to follow Donkey.

"What are the flowers for?" Shrek asked as he was confused.

"For getting rid of Donkey." Fiona replied.

"To distract him." said Madison.

"Ah..." he grinned.

"Now you hold still, and Maddie and I will yank this thing out." said Fiona as she pulled the arrow a little.

"Ow! Hey!" Shrek yelped and jumped away, "Easy with the yankin'."

"I'm sorry, but it has to come out."

"Try not to be a baby." said Madison and tries to get the arrow off of him but Shrek moved away.

"No, it's tender!"

As they continue to talk, the girls kept going after the arrow and Shrek keeps dodging their hands.

"Now, hold on." said Fiona.

"Hold still." said Madison as she and Fiona try to get the arrow.

"What you're doing is the opposite of help." said Shrek as he keeps moving away.

"Hold on."

"Look, time out." Shrek stopped the girls as he placed his hands on their faces.

Madison groan with frustration.

"Would you...!" Fiona and Madison move away from their hands and looked at him. "Okay. What do you propose we do?"

"I think I know one." said Madison as the two looked at her.

Seconds later, Shrek was lying down on the ground while Madison and Fiona were on his back, trying to get the arrow off of him but Shrek cried in pain.

"Not good!" he said.

"We almost got it, Shrek." said Madison, "But Shrek, if you let one gas out of your butt at us, I will kick your behind or hit you by the head."

"Okay. Okay. I can nearly see it." said Fiona as both of the girls were slowly pulling it, "It's just about..."

"OH!"

Shrek rolled over and Fiona landed on top of him while Madison landed on the side. But she looked to see the two looking at each other's eyes until all three head a clear throat. They looked to see Donkey and Zor with the flower, but Donkey just smirked at them.

"Nothing happened." Shrek pushed Fiona off to the side with Madison as he looked at him, "We were just, uh..."

"Look, if you wanted to be alone, all you had to do was ask. Okay?" Donkey teased which made Madison giggled a little.

"Oh, come on! That's the last thing on my mind." said Shrek.

Madison tapped on Fiona's shoulder and pointed at the arrow. They looked at each other and nod and gently grabbed the arrow and counted to three.

"Maddie and the princess here were just... Ugh!" Shrek felt the arrow pulled out and turned to see the girls with a smirk on their faces and Fiona holding the arrow. "Ow!"

Madison tried not to laugh out loud but heard Donkey's voice.

"Hey, what's that?" he nervously chuckled, "That's...is that blood?"

Thud! Donkey fainted after he witness that, and Zor just sniffed at him. All four looked at him and Shrek starts carrying him but start continuing their journey.
