One Year Later:

"Have you spoken to her yet?" Alice asked, concerned.

She was nervous, we all were. With good reason too.

It had been a while since we had been able to contact Tanya. Last time being a month prior.

After Tanya left, the truth came out of why she truly left, leaving us all thrown for a loop. Even me, her best friend, or better known as, her younger sister… my mind had been blown to bits.

Ye'up, it's true, though. As it turns out Tanya is my long lost older sister.

My mother and father lost her when she was only three years old. She was never found, her birth name had been Thalia Roe Swan. The people who kidnapped her changed everything about her, even going as far as to dye her hair as she began growing up.

Now, years later, the truth came out, and Tanya, not knowing what else to do, did the only thing she could think to do, she left to confront her 'parents'.

They didn't put up much of a fight when she questioned them, even when she asked why they never told her.

After that she threw herself into her work, choosing to close herself off to everyone except me.

"No, not since we found out what happened." I whispered, tapping my fingers on the wide coffee cup.

"Well, we've got to call her again." Rosalie insisted.

"There's no need for that, ladies. I'm right here." Tanya said suddenly interrupting.

We all visibly sagged in our seats as she sat down next to me, with her cup of coffee.

I stared down at my long forgotten latté, sighing as she bumped me with her shoulder lightly.

"Did you miss me?" She asked teasingly.

"You know damn well that we did. Why the hell haven't you been answering our phone calls?" I asked, annoyed.

"Because I was on the plane?" She replied confused.

"No, stupid, she means why haven't you been answering our calls for the last three months?" Rose snipped.

Tanya frowned, looking around at all of us. "Well, you two? I didn't feel like speaking to. And B? We spoke two days ago. Along with Renee and Charlie." She said, rolling her eyes.

"I know, but you never replied to my question… So, I got worried…" I told her.

She gave me a sad smile, "Look, I already told you I am fine with it. You don't need to worry… We've both moved on." She said smiling at me as she brushed away a few strands of hair from her face.

"So, your little sister is going out with your ex fiance doesn't bother you one bit?" Rose asked, raising a brow as she lifted her cup to her lips.

I winced at her question.

Unable to not think back to how Edward and I ended up together.

A few months after Tanya left, I ran into him at a coffee shop. He was hesitant to speak to me, at first, but eventually we started talking and became friends.

Getting together was never the plan, in fact, we were both hesitant to do so, until one night.

When our friends invited us out to a bar and we ended up being left at the table alone while Rose and Emmett went to ride the bull, and Alice and Jasper made their way to the dance floor. Eventually, we got to talking and decided to give it a shot.

Tanya's scoff pulled me out of my thoughts as she bumped me with her shoulder and gave me a small encouraging smile. She gave Rose a dry look before shaking her head. Her once strawberry blonde hair, now a mousy brown color. "No, I told you we didn't love each other… It wouldn't have worked out. Besides, I've met someone else…" She replied, with a timid smile.

I gasped, giving her a happy smile. "Is it Jimmy from management? Or Keith from accounting?" I asked excitedly.

She scoffed, giving me an eyeroll, before reaching over to smack me on the arm. "Neither." She said with a smile, pausing for a moment.

I frowned, as Alice laughed, "Well, go on…" Alice urged, giddily.

"His name is Jacob Black. He works in sports journalism. He is visiting his family near here for Christmas too." She said with a happy smile.

Alice gasped as she turned to look at me wide-eyed.

"What's wrong?" Tanya asked.

"Jacob was one of my best friends when we were little, he was a few years older but that didn't matter to us. Unfortunately, his family moved to California when we were ten. We lost contact shortly after that…" I explained.

Alice clapped her hands excitedly. "It's meant to be!" She squealed.

At that Tanya and I both rolled our eyes at her before laughing.

"So, when do we leave?" She asked me.

I wrinkled my nose, "In an hour or so…" I replied miserably.

"Quit pouting, Bella. It is your duty as maid of honor to plan the bachelorette party. You chose Vegas." Tanya reminded me amused.

"I know. It's what she said wanted. She said to keep it simple..." I mumbled miserably.

"Vegas is simple, bitch. Now, quit your bitching and let's get a move on! It's my last few hours as a single woman!" Rose said, tapping her empty coffee mug.

I grumbled, before allowing them to pull me out of the coffee shop.

So, that's where I found myself after a five and a half hour flight.

Alice had taken care of booking a few shows, and I took care of booking the hotel rooms, and other activities.

Tanya and I would be sharing one and Rose and Alice would share another.

"I don't see why I have to dress like a hoochie…" I grumbled as Tanya finished curling my hair, and Alice caked more mascara on my lashes.

I frowned as I looked down at the black sparkly, off the shoulder bodycon dress that Alice had forced me into, shortly after showering.

The dress she was wearing was deep green, and looked like a short version of a ball gown.

Rose was wearing a tight red tube top dress that was layered with mesh, and sparkles. A white veil pinned on her head, and a pair of over the top red sparkly platform heels on her feet.

Tanya changed into a navy blue bodycon dress, and black stiletto heels.

"If Rose is the one getting married, why do I have to dress like this?" I complained, pouting as Tanya pinned back a few strands of my hair away from my face, and to the back of my head.

"Because we are dressed to impress… Club Eclipse is a 'dress to impress', type of club. Now, quit your bitching and put your heels on. I promise they're not stiletto heels. Thick heeled just like you requested." Alice said.

I grumbled under breath as I snatched the heels from her, and walked over to the bed, plopping down on it, before shoving my feet into the overthetop heels.

Fastening the straps of the heels around my ankles as tight as humanly possible, without hurting myself.

"You look gorgeous!" Alice squealed as I stood up and pulled my dress down.

I rolled my eyes at her, before placing a tight smile on my lips, "Thank you. Now let's get this over with."

I remember us entering the club and getting drinks, then the rest of the night is a blur to me.

When I woke up the next morning I was in bed, with my clothes still on, and something heavy pinning my torso to the plush mattress.

I groaned, slowly sitting up, only to be hit with a wave of vertigo, and a dull ache in all my muscles.

I then realized my dress was bunched up at my hips and my panties were gone.

Startled, I turned to see who the body next to me was, only to sigh in relief when I realized it was Edward laying there next to me. But it was short lived as I saw the thin silver, sapphire and diamond band on my left ring finger along with an emerald cut sapphire ring that matched the thin band.

"Edward…" I said, in a panicked tone.

"Hm?" He mumbled.

"What the hell happened last night?" I asked.

He lifted his head up from the pillow with a groan, and eyed my hand. "I don't — hang on." He frowned as he pulled his hand from under the pillow.

"Fuck." He mumbled, as our eyes widened as they landed on the thick black titanium band on his left ring finger.

"Do you think that maybe they're fake?" I asked.

He sighed, rubbing his hand over his face before turning to look at the night stand. "From the looks of this marriage certificate, I'd say no. Looks like we're married." He replied.

I sighed, "I thought we weren't going to get married until after we finished school." I told him.

He shrugged. "Sometimes things don't go as we planned. Does it bother you? I mean, we can always get an annulment if you're not ready." He replied, dejectedly.

I frowned down at my lap, "Do you want to— get the annulment, I mean. Do you want that?" I asked him carefully.

He looked at me, giving me a small smile before shaking his head at me. "No, it feels right." He said.

A smile pulled on my face as he locked eyes with me. "You're right. It does. Fuck planning. I want this. I want you." I said as I leaned over and pulled him towards me to kiss him.

"I want you too, Isabella Marie." he whispered against my lips. "How do you think our parents will react?" He mumbled, with a smile.

I laughed, leaning back onto the bed. "They'll probably be mad that we did this and didn't invite them." I replied as he laid his head on my stomach.

"They'll get over it. Besides, Rose and Emmett are getting married next week. I'm sure that will make them happy." He replied, as he turned his head into my stomach.

I laughed, as I combed his hair with my fingers, causing him to groan in response.

"Do you think anyone will realize?" He asked me after a moment.

"Oh, we noticed." Emmett said as he and the rest of our friends stood in the doorway, looking at us with the same amused expressions.

"Noticed what?" I asked as Edward pulled himself up, and covered us with the blanket.

We both hid our left hands under the blankets and smirked knowingly.

"That you two disappeared again. Where the hell have you two been? And why haven't you answered your phones?" Rose asked as she pushed her way into the room.

"We just woke up a few minutes ago." Edward replied, shrugging.

Jasper raised a brow as he moved towards the bedside table, and looked at the marriage certificate, before wordlessly moving back towards the exit.

He and Edward had a silent exchange before he sighed and nodded.

"You two have twenty minutes to get ready before we need to check out. Hurry up. We'll stop to get you something to eat on the way home." He replied as he ushered everyone out.

As soon as the door shut, we both got out of bed, and headed into the shower.

Alice had somehow had the foresight to leave my duffle bag here before she left.

After we showered, I changed into a pair of jeans, thin brick-colored knit sweater, and a pair of black Chelsea boots.

"What happened between you and Jasper?" I asked, after I finished dry my hair.

"Oh, you noticed that, did you?" He murmured.

I nodded, as I shoved the dirty clothes into my bag.

"He saw the certificate. He wants us to tell everyone. But I think we should wait until after next week. What do you think?" He asked.

I sighed, "Let's not steal Rose and Em's thunder. We can tell them after. We'll have a nice dinner party or something." I said.

He nodded in response, as he did the button on his dress shirt. "Sounds like a plan. Are you ready to go?" He asked as he slid the certificate into his duffle bag.

I check to see if anything was left behind before nodding.

He took my hand as we made our way out of the room to check out. Both of us wondering how we were going to tell our friends and family the news, and how they were going to react.

It didn't scare us because we knew that no matter what anyone said, or felt, this was the start of our happily ever after.
