A stroll through a beautiful park should've cleared Uraraka's tangled thoughts. The prismatic flora distracted her –for a short time. Couples are everywhere. Apparently Rose Park is a popular place to confess love. Sighing, she keeps her eyes glued on a stone path.

'Everyone is finding love besides me…'

.

She'd confess to Izuku, but he's solely focused on training. Admirable absolutely, yet Uraraka figures because of Midoriya's dedication he'd have no time for a relationship. 'Or maybe I'm just too shy or plain?' Staying positive is hard when one is always running into dead ends. Despondent, the girl sits at a table.

.

Unpacking lunch Ochaco chews on a sandwich miserably. Suddenly a mouse climbs up onto the table. Freezing, the woman analyses him warily. 'Huh? This…is no ordinary rodent!' Is it a quirk or just a mutation?

The mouse has pale blue eyes, big round ears, stubby legs, and pink fur!

The creature's ribcage is slightly visible. It eyes Uraraka's cupcake hungrily. 'Poor thing! Must be starving!' Selflessly she offers her sweet to the mouse.

.

Immediately he perks up. "Thank you for sharing food with me!"

"You can talk?!"

Standing on his hind legs the mouse bows elegantly. "I shall repay my debt."

"Debt? No, no, it's okay! I'm just glad that you're better! What's your name?"

.

"I'm Ume, a flower mouse. My quirk is matchmaking."

"Huh? For real?!"

"Yes! I can sense when others are looking for love." Ume winks.

"No way! I just-"

"Worry not. I will not fail you!" Bounding away, he leaves Uraraka skeptical and frankly baffled. 'He sure is dramatic. Is what Ume says even true?'

.

At her home Ochaco finds Ume sitting upon an open window. He presents her a silver ticket.

"What's this?"

"Ever hear of Lachesis?"

Uraraka gasped. "Yes! Isn't it a super exclusive club for heroes and villains? How'd you-"

"I told you I repay my debts."

.

Narrowing her eyes at Ume she asks, "Am I being set up on a blind date?"

"Not exactly. My quirk only points me in the right direction. I have no idea who your lover is. So, are you going?"

Why not? Tsuyu and Iida are busy so there's no excuse not to go.

.

Lachesis is all black marble, neon lights, loud music, and people wearing awesome costumes. The DJ's sounds pulse through air, quivering with a soothing quality. Within radius only defensive and healing quirks can be used. Tactful, considering both heroes and villains attend the club. Gliding inside, Uraraka walks up to the bar and orders a drink.

.

Bakugo visits this club frequently. Wearing a red suit with gold cloth, and a gold mask he enters the crowd with Kirishima. He loves captivating people's attention. Katsuki switches dance partners like trading cards. Nobody can match his explosive moves.

That's fine; Bakugo prefers to be the solo ruler of the dance floor anyway.

.

"Alright everybody, I'm going to change the track." The DJ shouts. "Here's some electro swing mixes!"

Tired dancers filter out and fresh ones flood in. Clubbers display glamorous tricks with their quirks. Couples are working together for the most applause.

.

"Pathetic. It's all the same boring stuff." Katsuki scoffed. Then, as if to prove him wrong, a woman makes her way into the middle of the floor. Curiosity blazes in the man's orange hues. Briefly he observes the new mysterious dancer. Partiers are awed by a circle of glow bracelets floating around her.

She has a space helmet for a mask, the glass tinted purple. Her dress is short and crafted from reflective fabric. Tall platform boots glow neon colors. The woman's entire outfit gives off a flashy sci-fi eighties style. Alluring the clubbers she dances between glow bracelets.

Charging in, Bakugo challenges Ochaco adding in twirls and high kicks. Sprinkled in are fiery orbs mimicking fireworks. "What?" He taunts a stunned Uraraka. "Can't keep up sweetheart?"

She merely grins.

.

Dancing closer to Katsuki she performs a mix of airy ballet and waltzing. Bakugo fires back with a blend of salsa and break dancing. Leaning in Ochaco holds onto him. Quickly she dips her newfound partner, before sending him spinning. To his surprise she even manages to elegantly lift him up.

Bakugo transfers into an upbeat tango. "Very impressive. I like a woman that can lead."

Silently Uraraka casts zero gravity on them both before continuing the dance. Clubbers cheer ecstatically.

Katsuki and Ochaco's drastic styles shouldn't synchronize.

Yet, together they collide wonderfully like two supernovas.

.

Out of breath, Bakugo and Uraraka lock eyes. The cheering crowd is distant, miles away. Their souls are the only ones in the room. Clinging to each other they feel a spark. The world could be ending right now and neither would notice such calamity.

"Thank you," she whispers. "This has been the most fun I've had in a while."

A rare dazzling smile shines on Katsuki's face. "I'm happy to finally find someone worth my time."

Uraraka is about to leave when he tugged on her arm.

"Please. I'd…I'd like to see you again."

"S-Sure. When-"

"Meet me by the amusement park gates tomorrow. Ten AM. Bring your mask."

"Alright."

.

Reluctantly, Katsuki lets her go. The woman dissolves into the exiting partiers, gone. Soft warmth disappears from his hand. The scorching orbs Bakugo can create at will, can't ever match the charming spark she has brought. For a moment he remains dazed. Then, looking up from his hand he realizes something.

Bakugo Katsuki has fallen in love.

.

Ochaco's heart pounded furiously. Perhaps it's from nervousness –and something unidentifiable. Can it be love? Curiosity simmers just underneath. Who could that Gold Boy be?

Even though she trusts Ume, Uraraka fears outright rejection. What if the guy is a jerk? 'What if he's a villain? Could we even make a relationship work?!' Taking a deep breath she steps towards the amusement park gate.

"Hey! Over here Space Girl!"

Uraraka sees a blonde man waving at her. A familiar mask is in his grasp. Marching up to him she says, "You must be Gold Boy." They shake hands.

.

"I'm Uraraka Ochaco. You?"

"Bakugo Katsuki."

"Nice to meet you, uh, again. So, what should we do fir-"

Katsuki holds onto Ochaco's hand and pulls his date towards some games. "No need to be so shy around your future boyfriend."

"H-Huh?!" Uraraka blushes madly –somewhat mesmerized by Bakugo's confidence.

.

The couple arrives at a shooting gallery. As expected, Bakugo strikes almost every target. The material turns to ash. Facing his date he asks, "Can you get a higher score Space Girl? Bet your fancy quirk can't do that!"

Winking, Uraraka aims her shots.

.

The balls launch like canon fire. Instantly the targets twist and shatter from impact. She wraps her arms around the best prize. "How's that for a dainty quirk, Gold Boy?"

Bakugo is astonished. Instead of wrath however, he is perplexed. Crimson orbs glint in interest.

.

"Alright, this time you choose a ride. Your win was just lucky!"

Laughing, Ochaco points to a drop tower. "How about that one?"

"Pppssht. Easy. I'm Bakugo Katsuki! Any challenge is a piece of cake for me!"

.

Neither hero is afraid of heights. Yet Katsuki is trembling. From fear or excitement Uraraka can't tell. "Have you been on a drop tower before?"

"No. But I'm not afraid of this!"

"Obviously, you are a hero after all!" She says, nodding. "The bravest!"

"That's right! I'm no cowar-"

.

The ride descends. The momentum is a rush –almost like teleporting to another solar system! Uraraka and Bakugo scream. Their guts twisted in fear. Yet, Ochaco and Katsuki also enjoyed the breakneck speed. When the machine finally stops, she exits perfectly fine while he is shaking.

"How was that? Amazing, isn't it?"

"Of course! Nothing I couldn't handle." Cracking his neck and shoulders, he smiled. "That was really fun! Got my adrenaline running for sure."

"I'm glad. I knew you'd like it. Not even my friends will go on that ride with me."

Bakugo adores the attention. Glowing he says, "See? We're a perfect match!"

.

Together, they stroll to a booth hand in hand. Silently eating cotton candy, the two admire the lively atmosphere. Katsuki gazes at a structure. Wordlessly, he tugs his date towards it.

"Where are we-"

"To the Ferris wheel. C'mon."

.

An awkward quiet seeps into the carriage. Ochaco sits fiddling her thumbs while Katsuki has his back to the window. "You're a lot different when you're dancing." He says voice softer than normal.

"I-"

"That's not a bad thing. Pretty interesting actually."

Uraraka stares at him, shocked.

.

"D-Don't look at me that way, dumbass! I like people who keep me on my toes!"

A cute smile blooms on the woman's face. Giggling she replies, "You're very adorable Bakugo!"

"Ugh. You're so strange, Space Girl."

.

Tossing out jokes, hobbies, likes and dislikes, Ochaco and Bakugo click instantly. Two opposites strongly attract. Eventually, they recognize each other from the UA program. If not for a single mouse, neither would know of their existence. Now they're an explosively strong man and a buoyantly cheerful woman taking on the world.

.

Outside, the view is incredible. Standing side by side Katsuki and Uraraka gaze at beautiful landscape. Tranquil forests lay beyond a lively city. Woodland surrounds sky like a crown, patches of water gleaming jewels. The only thing missing is a castle. "I feel at peace up here."

"So do I. Like I can almost reach space."

"With you, all my anger fades away."

.

Tawny eyes land on Bakugo. Mischievously smiling she asks, "Are you staring at me?"

"Huh?! No way, idiot! I'm not-"

Uraraka plants a kiss on his cheek and Katsuki turns red as Mars. "You're really sweet, you know? It's been a fun day." Linking arm with his, she leans her head upon his shoulder. "We should go dancing again soon."

Taking a deep breath Bakugo feels the warmth return. "Yes. We should."

.

Uraraka always thought love could only be found in fairytales. Or by observing others and being slightly envious. Love stayed just out of her reach. Now, she has it. Today has been outstandingly wonderful!
