Hi! Welcome to my new story, Path of a Shinobi! A story with a well-established premise, but that I want to make it stand out. And before the story begins, I want to make a few things clear here, which may or may not impact the pleasure of some people when reading this.

1- This fanfic will be naruhina, with other pairs appearing naturally later, without harem by any means, so cut your hopes.

2- Minato here in this fanfic lives (but hooray he is not an abusive father) but Kushina dies, sorry

3- There will be a slight Yandere Hinata, it won't be too much or in a way that makes her a bloodthirsty Psychopath, but enough material to make her a "little" more protective with Naruto, if he gets even a little scary too once or another.

4- Naruto will not be a shinobi god or an edgy harem king, or a new character I invented and just put the Naruto skin on top, he will continue to be the extroverted and golden Naruto of the cannon.

5- There will be very big differences from the cannon in this fanfic, but I'll try my best not to disturb the status quo of the cannon too much, one of those things not so mutated being the way Naruto grew up in the village, kinda lonely and hated, and others being the massacre of the Uchiha clan, which will not happen.

6- This story, like any other I've done, will not have a consistent upload of chapters, one hour it can have 3 chapters in 6 days, and another time 3 chapters in 6 months, this can be explained by my personal philosophy As for stories, not writing if I don't feel like it, and especially if I'm not creative, there is also the fact that the direction I want this fanfic to follow is not 100% complete, which makes things difficult for me, but I already have something that can serve to help this.

I'll always try to keep this author's notes as short and as direct as possible, I hate to ramble, but that's enough for now. So, let's see if this is going to be another abandoned project.

Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash of Konoha and the Yondaime Hokage, was a good man and husband, being one of the best shinobi Konoha has ever seen, having mastered the Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique) invented by the Second Hokage, his feats were known by the five nations as being feared by many for turning the third ninja war in their side's favor aafip for their participation. That same man, today, failed to protect what was most valuable to him, the village where he grew up, and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki. It happened as if in the blink of an eye, one moment, he was crying with joy at the birth of his son, Naruto, and the next, the desperation in his gaze was almost palpable seeing the destruction wrought by that masked man.

He did everything to stop the fox from further destroying Konoha, taking the fight to another faraway place, and with the help of his wife who was still tired from childbirth, and Hiruzen Sarutobi, they managed to trap the Kyuubi, but wouldn't last long, Hiruzen himself was already showing signs of tiredness and Minato was hurt from having to deal not only with a bijuu but also with that masked one, luckily, he had marked him with a seal of Hiraishin, and he would make sure to finish what he started.

But at the end of the battle, the result was nothing other than something tragic, Kushina decided to make a decision not only risky, but also fatal, which would consume her last energies, she decided to seal the Kyuubi in Minato and her newborn son, Naruto. Thanks to her Uzumaki lineage, Kushina knew many of the fūinjutsu techniques, this shocked Minato, who tried to protest, but Kushina only smiled sadly at him, begging him to trust her, and Minato then, with pain in his voice, agreed to carry out the sealing.

Then, with dark looks on their faces, Minato and Hiruzen assisted Kushina in the sealing process, using a Hakke no Fūin Shiki (Eight Trigrams Seal) to trap the Yang half in Naruto and a Torii Seal to trap the Yin half in her. Minato. The seal key for both was created in the abdomen ofGerotora, theparchment frog, keys that could strengthen or completely remove the seals.

With her bijuu being forcibly removed from her body, and having already been through everything she's been through, Kushina couldn't bear to seal the kyuubi, and even if she did, she would die in a short time from chakra exhaustion, so after finishing the sealing, she who was in Minato's arms, looked at him with teary eyes, and the Blonde looked back, but on his face he saw a genuine smile of joy, with a lot of sadness behind it.

"Could you… bring Naruto to me?" The man then immediately agreed, and signaled to Hiruzen, who had the child on his lap, to bring him here, and so it was done.

Naruto was now resting in his mother's arms, who still kept her look of genuine happiness on her face.

"Naruto..Don't be picky..Eat a lot and stay strong.Make sure you shower every day and stay warm..-" She started to say in a melancholy and motherly tone.

Hiruzen and Minato simply fell silent, giving her and her son a moment.

"Besides.. Don't stay up late.. You need a lot of sleep..-"

"And make friends.. You don't need many friends..Just a few..The ones you can really trust..-"

She paused a little, but never taking her eyes off the little one's face: "I wasn't very good at it. , but continue with your studies and practice your ninjutsu hard..-"

"Remember that everyone has strengths and weaknesses.. So don't get too depressed if you can't do something well.."

The tears in Kushina's eyes started to flow freely now.

"Respect your teachers and seniors at the Academy.."

"Oh, and this is important.. It's about the Three Prohibitions for a shinobi..Be extra careful when borrowing and borrowing money..Put your mission's salary in your savings account.."

"No alcohol until the age of twenty.. Too much can ruin your health, so drink in moderation."

One of his tears fell on Naruto's cheek, who started to show signs of waking up.

"Another prohibition is women.. I'm a woman, so I don't know much. about it, but.. All you need to remember is that this world is made of men and women.. So it's only natural to be interested in girls.. But just don't get addicted to bad women.. Find someone like me.."

"Speaking of the Three Prohibitions, be careful with Jiraiya Sensei, you know.." The little blond boy was already awake now, squirming a little in his mother's arms.

The old Third Hokage decided to leave the place, making it his goal to check out the village, and also to prevent the incoming shinobi from possibly ruining the family moment, so he silently left.

"Be true to yourself.. Have a dream and have the confidence to make that dream come true.. There is so much.. Oh, so much more I want to pass on to you.. I wish I could spend more time with you."

like his wife, tears flowed freely from Minato's face now, which tightened his grip on his wife and child's body even more.

"I love you" And with those words, Kushina's last strength was gone, and she then laid her head on Minato's shoulder, with a look of tranquility on her face and a smile on her lips, happy that she was with him. your family now. And just like that, the sunlight finally reached the three of them, with little Naruto starting to cry. Minato then stopped feeling Kushina's chakra flowing, she had also lost her pulse, the Yondaime then grabbed her even tighter than before, with Naruto still crying in his mother's arms.

That day, October 10, was marked as the attack of the Kyuubi no Yoko to Konoha, as well as the date of its defeat, the people were scared, fearing more than anything a new attack by the fox, which generated intrigue among the village itself since whoever had put a genjutsu on the Kyuubi was an Uchiha, or was in possession of a stolen Sharingan, generating more prejudice to the Uchiha clan within the village, and Minato from the beginning had discarded this idea, he knew very well who had done it. that and it wasn't someone from Konoha.

The villagers also began to express rejection to the Yondaime and their child, after the news that the Fox was sealed in the two was revealed, and even though Minato did everything he could to make Kushina and Naruto heroes, public opinion went in a direction opposite to that. Minato also rightfully prohibited –with punishment of death– anyone telling Naruto about the Nine-Tails, he did this as a safety method, as this matter he would have to deal with later.

Anyway, none of this ever got in the way of the Namikaze and their duties, Minato continued to carry out his activities, but having two additional problems on hand that he needed to solve: The Uchiha clan revolt and the Konoha underworld ruled by Danzo. The Yondaime decided that the most urgent of these is to take care of Danzo, but he doesn't know how, so he just spied on him until he knew what to do. The Uchiha clan was easier to deal with, as he now remembers he's been trying to raise the spirits of the clan, putting them mainly as the main military force, and commander of armies, which helped the situation a bit.

Then was his biggest challenge, finding time to take care of Naruto, not that it was particularly difficult, one of his shadow clones would always be present, and when he dissipated, Minato promptly used his Hiraishin and went to his son, –Uma This time it was due to an accident in the kitchen – so protecting wasn't the biggest problem, it was the presence, it killed Minato inside not being there with his son physically for most of the day. Minato never gave everything Naruto wanted at any given time, honestly, he did his best to maintain a humble despite good life, and pass on the values of humildity to his son, preventing him from becoming a playboy or a spoiled boy in the future, Kushina wouldn't want her son to become someone like that – It turned out that Naruto had in his blood the spirit of someone selfless.

Minato resolved the issue of not spending time with Naruto artially when he started bringing Naruto to his office every now and then, every time the little one saw the village ninjas introducing themselves to the Hokage, or when he had a view of the entire village and the monument of the Kages his eyes shone with stars.

Naruto quickly created his dream from that day, he couldn't hold back his anxiety to enter the ninja academy, and told the four winds that he would become the Hokage, and he would be the greatest of them all, and Minato was proud when he heard that of his son or when he saw him playing ninja at home, it made him proud inside.

And when Naruto reached the age of six, he started wandering around the village alone, coming across a place that... despised him, Naruto often noticed that the villagers either totally ignored him at best, or sent him disgusted looks. to him, one day, Naruto even suffered a chase on one of his exits, where he ended up quite injured - even though he recovered shortly after that. Minato, upon learning of this, not only became angry at whoever did this, but also made one of his best shinobi, Kakashi Hatake, take care and watch over Naruto during his trips through the city, taking care to prevent any um, even if another shinobi tried something against Naruto, Kakashi obviously accepted the mission with open arms.

Hinata Hyuga was, to everyone who knew her, shy. The girl hardly said a word and hated confrontations of all kinds. This being the reason for a large part if her clan saw her as a failure, most members of the Hyuuga clan were known to be unshakable, strong, and focused, and whenever they found themselves in the face of adversity, they would kick it and demand respect. . And Hinata wasn't that, she would avoid confrontations at any cost and run away if possible from anyone who did her harm, the reason for this was not that she was weak, it was the fact that Hinata was an innocent and very kind girl, things that hardly ever happened. match when it comes to the Shinobi world she lives in. And fate had been cruel and take away Hinata's mom, she had thus lost the only person who could possibly understand her and help her overcome her problems.

Due to the combination of her kind and innocent nature and the fact that she was perhaps the only Hyuuga who wasn't cold and didn't kick anyone who tried to poke her, she became something of a target for people her age group to take it out on. hatred for your clan.

This happened rarely, as her personal caretaker, Ko, was by her side most of the time, and there was no one foolish enough to attack her at such times. However, she had other problems, such as her clan's low opinion of her abilities and capabilities, the hatred her younger sister was increasingly showing towards her, or her father's constant disappointment with Hinata's performance in combat. .

It was for those three reasons together today that she ran from Ko and quickly ran away, she really needed some time to herself. And then she ended up accidentally bumping into a boy older than her, dropping an ice cream he was holding, the other boys in the group looked in disbelief as the leader glared at the little girl in front of him, so the three of them quickly grabbed her and dragged her to a remote playground, and the leader promptly got in front of Hinata.

"Oi, Oi," he said in a menacing tone that made the little bluenette cringe.

"You dropped my ice cream, I paid dearly for that one!"

"I-I'm sorry..." She said with obvious fear in her voice, taking a step back, if she was quick she might run away...

"Hey, isn't this girl a Hyuuga?" He pointed to another boy in the group approaching the little Hyuuga.

"It's true! Look at those weird scary eyes of hers!" The other member said narrowing his eyes.

"Ah, a Hyuuga, hm, she must be just another arrogant little girl then!" Hinata took the opportunity, she turned around and tried to run away...

"Oi Oi! Don't try to run away while I'm talking with you!" He said grabbing the bluenette by her hair, and then putting it on the ground, his hand pinning it against the hard earth.

"Maybe she's that other Neji's cousin, that idiot humiliated me recently, you two must be the same!"

"N-No...I'm n-not like that" Tears flowed freely from her eyes, and an inner desperation slowly consumed her.

"If you're not, then apologize, apologize and prove you're not an arrogant one like everyone else in your clan," he removed his hand and placed his foot to press his head to the ground.

"I-Im S-Sorry… I'm sorry…" her eyes were already burning red from her tears.

"Hey!" a voice sounded, and the leader straightened to greet the newcomer. "Stop this!"

The three looked up to see a blond haired boy looking at them angrily with big navy blue eyes.

Hinata looked up in shock, what was he doing? Did he bring someone with him to stop these boys? But he seemed to be alone.

"Hey, isn't he that boy?" one of the boys muttered.

"Yea!" the other said excitedly, "The one nobody likes because he's always causing trouble for everyone!"

The leader grinned at the blonde, making his expression more annoyed. "Yes, he is THAT boy!"

All three laughed uproariously at this, driving the challenger to the end of his patience.

"Shut up!" he yelled, sweeping his hand aside in an angry motion, "I'm not THAT. My name is Uzumaki Naruto, and I'm going to become Hokage!"

The three bullies exchanged an incredulous look. -Hokage? they questioned, before laughing out loud at him again. The leader snorted loudly.

"There's no way YOU can become Hokage!" he said, laughing at the little boy's words. He walked over and punched the boy in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Hinata gasped, looking at her only ally in fear. Did they hurt him? She couldn't bear it if the first person to show her true kindness only received payment in the form of pain. She watched in awe as he slowly rose to his feet, wiping his slightly swollen cheek.

The leader's expression darkened at the sight of his defiance. "You want to fight?" he said angrily, waving his fists again.

Naruto smiled at him, "As long as you promise not to cry afterwards!" he exclaimed, before forming a seal with his hands.

The boys recoiled a little, shock on their faces. "H-does he know jutsu?" one of the boys asked, fear in his voice, already knowing he was the Hokage's son, so if he knew a jutsu, it would surely be a powerful one...

"Bunshin no..." Naruto began, as Hinata watched in wonder. Was this boy hiding a hidden force...? "JUTSU!"

Naruto finished, before a burst of smoke entered the area. After it cleared, the fearful boys laid their eyes on the most pitiful clone they had ever seen. It was a ghostly white, cartoonish looking, that fell sadly to the floor, while the blonde watched him with disappointment in his eyes. They all immediately started laughing again, and even louder, having seen this boy as a threat, even if momentarily.

Naruto gritted his teeth before launching himself at the leader, knocking him to the ground hard. "You let your guard down!"

He yelled at him angrily, punching the boy in the face. The other two looked on in shocked anger as the troublemaker punched their leader again, causing him to groan.

"I will definitely become Hokage one day, and I'll show it to people like you!" he spat, before punching him again.

This seemed to arouse anger in the other two boys as they turned their attention back to the blonde.

"He's underestimating us!" one yelled, and as they advanced, the troublemaker managed to defend himself well with a unique style of taijutsu before each one grabbed an arm and threw it straight to the ground.

Hinata watched, forgotten by the trio as they all punched and kicked every part of Naruto they could reach. Blood began to seep from his split lip and cut eyebrow as they ruthlessly knocked him to the ground. She looked down, despair rising strongly at seeing her savior being so mistreated…

Until out of nowhere, faster than the three of them could see, a man in a joūnin attire appeared, a mask on his face and his bandana lowered covering his eye.

The boys soon stood up in shock prepared to attack the newcomer, but when they saw who it was, they froze in place, after all, they were facing Kakashi Hatake or Sharingan no Kakahi, one of the strongest shinobi in the village, who graduated 6 years old, becoming joūnin at 13.

"Do you have any idea what you just did?" The copy nin asked in a menacing tone to the boys, who not only attacked the heiress of the Hyuuga clan, but injured the Yondaime's son. These boys certainly had no idea what the consequence was.

The trio couldn't move or speak, the same was true for Hinata, Kakashi's murderous intent wasn't aimed at her, but she could feel it. And then, after a few seconds, the boys fled in panic from the playground, with Kakashi following them, after all, the Hokage had given him orders to identify anyone who physically attacked Naruto, but he would do it one way or another, with or without the Hokage's order.

After a few seconds, Ko also arrived at the scene, with a worried expression on his face, which brought Hinata out of her stupor. "Hinata-Sama, you shouldn't have gone that far!" The man said in a frantic tone, using his duster hands and cleaning the dirt from Hinata's clothes and face.

But the girl didn't answer, she just turned her gaze again to her savior, who still hadn't gotten up.

"T-That b-boy..." She said pointing a finger at Naruto. "H-He saved me..." There was a hint of guilt and worry in his voice.

Ko looked at the boy on the floor and his expression turned hard.

"Let's go back home Hinata-Sama, it's not good to be around that boy." Ko then took Hinata by the hand and started to guide her out of that place.

Hinata took one last look at her rescuer, seeing that he was already getting up, and that white-haired man appeared beside him, offering him support to get up.

Hinata then turned her gaze forward again, remembering that boy's name.

'Naruto Uzumaki...'

That night many thoughts occupied the little Hyuuga's mind, that boy stood in front of those bullies without hesitation when he saw her in danger, but why did he come to help? He didn't know her and neither did she know him, but judging by Ko's look and his reaction, that boy had done something against the Hyuuga, but what could it be?

Tossing a little in her bed, she reevaluated the events, realizing the lack of meaning in them, that boysaid he would be Hokage... but he was laughed at. Even so, he was still standing, challenge in his eyes, as he exclaimed that he would, no matter what, and show people like those boys that he could. So much strength and courage…she wished she could be like him. She had to find his secret... maybe then she could make her father proud, maybe she could bring pride to the Hyuuga name and stop being an outcast... 'I have to follow him...'

Not only did Hinata strive to find out more about that boy, but she also started following him around whenever she got the chance. She found out that the boy was the son of the Yondaime Hokage, and for some strange reason, a lot of people didn't seem to like him, his own clan didn't have the slightest sympathy for the boy. And no one seemed to know why or they just didn't want to say it.

In the following weeks, Hinata escaped from Ko several times, once she saw the golden haired young man wandering around so she followed him. What she saw made her sad and confused at the same time. She'd seen him thrown out of stores, kicked off the streets and verbally abused several times – she'd also noticed that this white haired man always showed up at the store Naruto was kicked out of, and not long after, the store closed.

People shouted 'demon' and 'scum' at him, even though he always looked so shy and scared... There was no point, much less fair.

On that particular day she saw that he had gone to a ninja item shop, probably looking for new kunais, as he would do that often, but shortly after the blue-eyed boy entered, he was kicked out by being thrown into the air by the blue-eyed boy. store owner himself, this had never happened before, which scared Hinata.

"And never come back you stupid brat! Or even your father won't save you!" The old man said as he went back inside.

"Oh yeah?! When I'm Hokage I'll make sure every piece of your shop is on the floor!"

When the owner turned around with an angry frown on his face, he started to run away, and Hinata swore she saw a few tears fall to the ground in his wake. She followed him silently, making sure to keep her head down so no one would see her eyes and question what she was doing in that particular part of town so far from her compound.

After sneaking around for some time, she reached a dead end, and a well of sadness began to form in her stomach at Naruto's absence.

'He disappeared...' she thought, wanting to comfort him. She couldn't figure out why everyone was so terrible to him, other than maybe the banter.

'But...' she thought idly, 'that wouldn't make everyone SO cruel to him...'

She was about to start the journey back to her house when she heard a small sob coming from the end of the alley and saw a small crack there, which Naruto could have slipped through, and judging by the sounds coming from there, her theory was right. correct.

She breathed deep, preparing to go introduce herself to him and offer him some sympathy, when she heard voices behind her.

"I think he came this way!"

"Hokage-Sama made his trip to kumo today, and that Kakashi went with him, I heard, would be the perfect time to finally put an end to the abomination..."

"...I don't know why he's so protective of that thing... the devil himself killed his wife..."

Hinata's breath caught as her eyes darted back and forth, looking for a hiding place. Locating a large blanket on a clothesline, she tore it off and threw it over herself and over a section of the fence, crouching down and making sure she had a little space to watch the scene unfold before her.

Naruto must have heard the noises too, because she saw him come out of hiding, hurriedly wiping his eyes, looking for a way out. Seeing none, he bolted back to his small cubicle, curling into a ball and holding his breath.

Hinata listened as the voices grew louder, eventually seeing a few villagers, including the shop owner who had recently kicked out Naruto, searching all over the alley for the blonde child.

"Feh, he must have ducked down a different alley…wait a minute!" a villager shouted, reaching out and arriving with a trembling Naruto. "I FOUND THE DEMON!"

A roar of approval greeted him as the others in his group came running up, offering him congratulations as they looked at the child with malice in their eyes.

Hinata watched in horror as tears began to flow from her eyes again, forming rivers of sadness on her trembling face. "P-please..." He said, fear seeping into his voice. "Sorry…I'll never come to your shop again…please leave me alone…" Hinata could feel her little heart breaking with every word he said. "please do not hurt me..."

The shop owner threw the boy to the floor before stepping on his stomach, eliciting a pained gasp from him. "You demon brat, do you think these tears will deceive us? You make me sick, trying to disguise yourself as a child to escape retribution...WILL WE NOT BE FOOLED, WILL WE BE MEN?"

Another roar of approval came from the crowd as they took turns attacking the little boy. Hinata watched in horror as they stomped, kicked, punched, punched and threw the little blonde back and forth, breaking limbs and splintering cartilage.

Time seemed to have no sense as they drew their weapons and began to slice at him, breaking his small body. She couldn't believe it. That was too much. Why…..why….why…..why…..why…

She repeated this to herself for a while, until she noticed someone else approaching Naruto, Hinata was frozen in place, the man looked young but was visibly a shinobi, she almost fainted at the idea that this guy could get the situation any worse to her savior's state, but what he did astonished her, he quickly subdued all the villagers, so when they turned back ready to finish off the newcomer, they saw only scarlet eyes shining at them, this guy's murderous intent was much greater than Kakashi's.

The entire group almost immediately left Naruto's nearly unrecognizable form bloodied and broken on the floor. And this strange man approached him, with a dark look on his face, the scarlet-eyed ninja then quickly turned around, and ran in the same direction the group had fled, his murderous intent greater than before.

She barely registered the screams of "HINATA-SAMAAA!" while Ko tried to find her. But when he did, with the Byakugan's help, he was horrified by what he found.

She was looking. Looking at the Kyuubi's broken body.

He cringed at the thought of what Hiashi would do to him if he found out. "Hinata-sama, we have to go back now, come on, no one will hurt you."

She didn't move. His eyes were still fixed on the boy's motionless form. "why…..why…..why….." she kept muttering to herself over and over again. She couldn't think. It was too much for her to handle.

Ko put his hand on her shoulder and she jerked away from him, hot tears streaming down her face. He knelt down and offered her his hand. "Hinata-sama, it's just me. Let's take you home, let's go." She shook her head slowly, looking at Naruto.

"Why...why...would they do this to him?" she said.

Ko's eyes hardened as he looked at Naruto, resentment hidden in his eyes. Although he approved of the actions, he did not approve of doing so in plain sight or within earshot of other people. "Don't worry about him, he'll only cause trouble. Let's go home-" "Why would anyone do that." She repeated, her small form trembling. "He d-didn't do nothing...he...didn't d-do anything..."

Ko sighed, knowing this slip would do lasting damage to the girl's psyche. Maybe he should take her to a Yamanaka…

He took her trembling body, holding her close to his chest, before turning his back on the boy.

Her eyes snapped to his, horrified. "No…we need to help him…" she said, panic taking hold of her. "We need to help him! WE NEED TO HELP HIM!" Ko looked in disbelief at the girl in his arms. If she knew...

"Hinata-sama." He said firmly, giving her a stern look. "Don't worry about that boy. Please take my advice, it won't do any-"

"WE HAVE TO HELP HIM!" she screamed, as she started to struggle. He would die, she was sure of it.

"WE HAVE TO HELP HIM KO WE HAVE TO DO IT!" Ko adopted a stoic look before jabbing Hinata in the neck, causing her to lose consciousness.

"Sorry Hinata-sama...but it's for your own good." He jumped, letting the body smear the ground below him with blood.

After some time, Itachi returned to Naruto, that Hyuuga girl was gone but he was still in the same place, Itachi then looked sadly at Naruto's body, picking him up in a delicate way, right after jumping across the roofs, looking for an ideal place to take care of. of the little blonde. 'People get bolder while Hokage-Sama is away, forgive me for taking so long, Naruto-kun' Itachi thought silently as he made his way.

Hinata hadn't been able to sleep that night, every time her eyes closed the images of Naruto mangled on the floor appeared in her mind, which made her cry Nightmares of the boy being killed in front of her tormented the young Hyuuga for weeks, causing him to cry. she became even more withdrawn than usual. She didn't leave her room, except to train or eat, and she refused to leave. She even stopped opening up to the closest person of a friend she had; your caregiver, Ko. She felt betrayed, since when was killing someone, especially a child like her, acceptable? Why didn't anyone help him except for that young ninja? But why did he run away afterwards? Why was the only person who showed his kindness by helping her chosen to die like this? And the only person she thought she could trust had walked away from him, despite his pleas.

She turned in her bed, a haunting look on her face. She couldn't stop seeing...his broken form lying feet away as she watched and did nothing...her savior, Naruto, being cut before her eyes...

She heard footsteps outside the door but didn't react to them. "Hinata-sama..." she heard Ko's low voice outside her door. "Your father told me to take you outside for some fresh air. I'll give you some time to prepare, but please be cooperative." he said, before she heard him walk away.

His father had ordered him to take her out... She got up slowly. She couldn't go with Ko. It would only arouse her doubts and feelings of betrayal. She threw on some clothes and went out the window, making her way as quickly as possible through the halls of the complex before reaching the fence. She clumsily climbed up before making her way to the center of the village, where she could hide among the throngs of people.

Even though Ko could easily find her with her dojutsu, she wanted to make the effort to hide first.

She wandered aimlessly through the streets, making sure to keep to the outskirts of the streets so as not to draw attention to herself.

She was wandering around for about 15 minutes and almost made the decision to go back when she heard a familiar voice.

"Itachi-San! Can we go find something to eat?"

She froze, her head spinning toward the sound. It was coming from behind that fence...

She ran to the corner and peeked around to see the blond boy next to the shinobi from the other day.

Was he alive? But how? No one in the state he was in... did this boy help him?

She then noticed that several villagers looked on with disgust and hatred, but kept it to themselves while Naruto was with that guy, and Hinata found herself beside herself with anger. Why did everyone treat this nice boy like dirt? Like something disgusting? She couldn't take it...

-Hinata-sama! She heard behind her and turned to see Ko approaching. "Hinata-sama." He said in a reproachful tone.

"You know that sneaking out of the compound and walking the streets alone is not befitting the title of Heir of the Hyuuga clan."

"Ko-san, Naruto-kun is fine!" she said happily, before her expression dropped. She looked distant and upset now, looking down at her feet. "...not that you mind..."

Ko's face twisted in surprise. He had never heard Hinata address someone like that, knowing the girl was shy and withdrawn. But it looked like she was almost begging him to contradict her words.

"Let's go back to the compound." He said, taking her hand. She didn't argue, but looked back to see the name of the shop that had just mistreated the kind boy. If no one else – apart from those two – was going to help him, she would. As much as she could outside.

He represented everything she wanted to be; selfless, brave, kind... the list went on. After she was scolded by her father and penalized for wandering around Konoha alone, she went back to her room and grabbed her training clothes.

She'd never felt such a need to train before, but it wasn't to make her father proud, or earn her clan's respect. She needed to train for him. She needed to train for Naruto, so that one day, she could reward him, and help him when he needed it. The next time someone threatened her life, she would be by his side instead of hiding from him.

Over the next year, Hinata trained harder each day, with dogged determination. Several of her clan members took notice of her change, no longer seeing her as a failure but looking at her respectfully, even her father praised her after one of his sparring sessions with her younger sister Hanabi. For a long time she tried to make her sister stronger, letting her land most of her punches, but all those intentions were gone, doing so would be an absurd disrespect to her defender and she didn't continue with it.

She also left the compound constantly and followed Naruto constantly now, basically on a daily basis. She noticed that several times Naruto caused confusion throughout the village, from making jokes that greatly irritated the owners of several stores, or even vandalizing the Hokage monument.

However, most of the time he just wandered around the village, from time to time. accompanied either by that strange guy she discovered to be Itachi Uchiha, or by the Hokage himself. Naruto frequented a particular store that never showed any kind of prejudice towards Naruto, Ichiraku Lamen, the man and his daughter who worked there were always kind and considerate towards their savior, who seemed to love above all the Lamen coming from that store.

But before Hinata knew it, the time to start at the ninja academy arrived, she was excited, and hoped that Naruto would be in the same class as her.

She walked through the doors of her new classroom, immediately heading straight for the back of the class, keeping her eyes down the entire time.

There were a lot of people here, and most of them were very noisy. There was a boy with a puppy who was yelling about how cool his dog was, a chubby boy who was eating fries strangely loudly, and two girls who were yelling about how cool a boy with black hair was. She picked up her books and a pen, now she was looking around nervously, so she saw it.

Her defender entered, a huge smile on his face that she reflected, albeit a little more subtly. The class grew quieter at the sight of him, and she saw his smile falter as he walked to a table and sat down.

"Hey, isn't he that kid who's been spray-painting all over town?"

"Isn't he the Hokage's son?"

"Oh, I know him, my mom told me to stay away from him."

"I hear he's a real pain in the ass... better stay away..."

Hinata gritted her teeth at the whispers that weren't very subtle; she was sure Naruto could hear them too. But it looked like he wasn't letting that affect him. He walked up to a pink haired girl who gave him a disgusted look.

"Hey, hey, what's your name?" he asked brightly, hands behind his head.

"Sakura." She said, obviously wishing he would go away.

"That's a pretty name!" he said brightly, lifting his hand to shake hers. "I'm Uzumaki Naruto, wanna be friends?" She mocked him.

"Who would want to be your friend? Especially with someone like Sasuke-kun right in front of us!" she exclaimed lovingly, before turning around and continuing to fawn over the taciturn boy.

Hinata narrowed her eyes at the girl. Who was she, to speak so cruelly to someone so good...

"Yea?" Naruto said irritably, his smile fading. "Sasuke-teme and I have known each other for a while and I can tell he's not that great."

Sakura turned to him, punching the top of his head. "How dare you talk about Sasuke-kun like that! He's better than you will ever be you...you..."

Sakura shivered as she felt an icy gaze on herself, but when she looked around the room, she didn't find anyone looking her way. 'What…was that…' she thought.

Hinata caught herself at the last minute looking at the pinkette as if she was about to strangle her, and turned around in time to avoid his inquisitive gaze. 'I hate that girl...'She thought darkly.

Everyone calmed down when their teacher entered the room, a brown haired man with a scar on his nose and the Konoha headband tied tightly around his head, signifying that he was a registered shinobi of the village.

"Welcome Welcome!" he said warmly, watching as the last few students, including Naruto, took their seats. "I'm glad to see that you, like many others, are following the path of the shinobi in order to protect the village. Even though you are young, we will be honing your skills to make you a mortal warrior of Konoha."

"Hey, hey, how about we go to training then!" Naruto said aloud from his seat, earning a few annoyed looks from the students around him. Hinata watched him ignore those stares, looking determinedly ahead. "I need to train as much as possible to become Hokage, you know?"

Their teacher looked at him with annoyance. "Well, if that's your goal, then I suggest you learn patience Naruto, because the Hokage must also behave with respect and good manners, just like your father."

Naruto looked away, a frown on his face. Hinata frowned as well. Wanting to jump right into training wasn't a bad thing, and Naruto trained with his father and Kakashi every day with strong conviction.

He was wasting Naruto's time with this lecture….

He continued with that however, introducing himself as Iruka, a chunin who would help them throughout their time at the academy. He told them what the classes would be like, his general schedule for different topics, and what the training would be like.

"Any question?" he said, ending his lecture. When no one answered, he smiled. "Good, then let's get to work!"

Minato was sitting in his chair in his office, there was a mountain of paperwork in front of him, but he wasn't concentrating on it, his head was resting on his hands and an expressionless look on his face was visible, until 5 shinobi appeared in his front, three of them being Kakahi, Itachi –Naruto's current caretaker–, and Hiruzen, the other two being Fugaku Uchiha and Might Guy, both had serious looks on their faces, after all, the Hokage himself had summoned them here to discuss an immediate matter.

Kakashi took a step forward and knelt in front of the Hokage, which the other three did. Kashi then raised his head looking straight at Minato. "Hokage-Sama, why did you call us here?"

Minato then sighed a little, but still holding his ground. "9 years ago, when I fought the masked man who freed the Kyuubi in the village, shortly before he fled, I was able to mark him with Hiraishin's seal. And since he never disappears, I decided it was time. to finish off the one who caused the disaster."

Shocked looks appeared on most of them, but Minato continued.

"This will be an important S rank quest, and knowing the power of that man, I summoned you because I know you are the best, I will not force you to go, and there will be no punishment if any of you do not accept the quest."

Most of them remained silent, with determined looks on their faces.

"There's no going back later, that masked man was able to put the Kyuubi himself in a Genjutsu, and faced me equally, so is everyone sure about that?" His countenance was questioning but still stoic.

"Well, bwhen I run away from a challenge?" Said Guy with a smile on his face.

"Don't think that just because I'm old that I'm weak, Minato" Hiruzen interrupted And the rest nodded with determination in their eyes.

Minato seeing this gave a smile.

Today will be the day to capture the man who caused the destruction of Konoha...

Who killed hundreds of his men and civilians...

Who killed Kushina...

He wouldn't let him get away this time!

Just a small note in the End, this story will be Naruto/Hinata/Minato-centric, this three will be the main characters... i think its just this. goodbye!
