Gregory limped from exhaustion and injuries he sustained after escaping the Mega PizzaPlex. He was breathing heavily, and he held his side in pain. He could feel his organs bleeding from the inside as they got rattled from the blunt force trauma the Glamrock Animatronics, excluding Freddy, caused him. Gregory is thankful that his ribcage didn't break, but the internal bleeding was still considerable because his body got shaken up.
As he continued to walk, he saw a married couple in a cafe that looked like his parents—a woman with blonde hair and a man with black hair.
I put one foot in front of the other...
Another step closer to the ledge. Will I make it, I wonder?
And now I'm free fallin', gravity's calling, and I can't turn back now...
I put one foot in front of the other...
Gregory teared up at how happy the couple looked. Just like his parents were before he lost them because his father accidentally killed her mother during a heated argument and committed suicide as a result. Gregory wondered why fate had to be so cruel to him, and the unfortunate, beaten child didn't want to wonder about that for long as Gregory continued to limp away before the couple caught him staring at them. Feeling weaker every minute, he wipes off the blood from his mouth.
And lately, I've been going my own way... I guess these old habits die hard...
And lately, I've been missing my old ways... Guess I'm headed for a permanent scar...
And maybe I've been thinking bout crashing... While I'm waiting on the last train home...
Maybe it's the quiet things that always hurt the most...
Cause I can't change who I am, but maybe I could try to understand...
There is peace inside the panic... Are heroes always tragic in the end?
Or are they only voices in our heads? The more they talk, the more I think some things are better left unsaid...
Here today and gone tomorrow like were... Doomed... Like we're... Doomed...
Gregory looked around to see many families having various plushies of the Glamrock Animatronics. He didn't want to pay attention to the families, as it reminded them too much of his parents. Knowing how hopeless the child's condition is, Gregory tries his best to conceal the blood from his mouth. He sees a plushie stand selling Freddy plushies. Gregory silently sneaks and steals one of the Freddy Plushies to cradle onto with what little strength he has left.
The more you look, the less you're gonna see before you know it's gone too soon...
So take my hand, it's all that I have. We can sit and watch the colors bloom...
Everybody prays when their time is borrowed, but never for the time they've got...
Yeah, and everybody sings like there's no tomorrow... Until the music stops...
Gregory coughs up blood and tries to cover up his injuries with a napkin he took. He limps away from the crowd, hoping not to gain any attention. He stumbles to a wall but makes sure to do it in a way to make people think he's exhausted. Seeing his vision blur and his heart pounding out of his chest, he looks at Freddy Plushie before holding it closer to his chest.

Here today and gone tomorrow like were...
Doomed... (The more you look, the less you're gonna see before you know it's gone too soon)
With little life left in his eyes, Gregory feels his body finally give out as his arms let go of the Freddy Plushie. His eyes grow heavy as he lets out his final breath as his eyes closed. With the damage already done with the internal bleeding from his organs, no one would immediately notice Gregory's now deceased body in the corner near the stands.
Like we're doomed... (So take my hand, it's all that I have. We can sit and watch the colors bloom)
Everybody prays when their time is borrowed, but never for the time they got...
But then, Gregory's hand twitches as he regains consciousness, slowly realizing he's still alive. Holding the Freddy Plushie in his arms tightly with the feeling of having new strength, Gregory slowly opens his eyes once his mind clears. Gregory's eyes are now demonic black, like the missing children William Afton had killed long ago. With his now-attained undead status and his eyes permanently demonic black, Gregory's new life would finally begin...
Yeah, and everybody sings like there's no tomorrow...
Until the music stops...
