"Any news El?" Asked Mike, hopefully, as he looked over at her. She replied by shaking her head slightly. Dustin sighed. "How are you not finding anything?" He asked. "Dude, she's trying to dab into another dimension, let her be!" Mike yelled to Dustin. "But, 'dude' She has dabbed into The Upside Down many times before, and it went smoother!"

Mike just sighed and then looked over at his friend with an annoyed face. "Dustin, this is a different dimension, she probably is adjusting," Mike said. Lucas nodded. "Yeah, Mike's right, maybe she-"

"Shh!" El said, putting her finger up at everyone behind her. "What is it?" Mike asked. El didn't say anything. "Uhhh...? Earth to El?" Dustin asked. "El, what do you see?" Mike asked.

What Eleven saw, was something she has never seen before in her life. She was in The Upside Down, but she figured it was in the dimension with the living trains because there were railroad lines all over the place. But they all went into what seemed to be a building. "I-I see... a building... A.. Small building." She said. Mike looked over at his friends. Dustin, Will, and Lucas all shrugged. "What building? Come on El, be a little more specific than that," Dustin said. "I don't know... I don't know what.. it could be..."

"Describe it. You said it's small right?"

"Y-Yeah,"

The Upside Down wasn't looking too good either. Not that it looks good ever, but for some reason, the clouds were all red, and it looked stormy. The Upside Down has looked like this before, but not this terrible. "The Upside Down is really looking-"

"Wait, you're in The Upside Down again?!" Mike yelled. "Huh? Wasn't she there before the last time?"

She was. El didn't bother to correct them and focused on what she was seeing. "There are red clouds," She said. Mike and Will looked at each other. "Red clouds?" Mike asked. "Hasn't it always been like that?" Will questioned. "Yes... But it looks... Different," El responded. "So, what do you even see?" Dustin asked. "I said a building," El said to Dustin. "And those... metal bars... on, the... the um,"

"The railroad tracks?" Mike asked. El nodded. "Yeah those," She said. "They lead into the building, multiple of them,"

All of them tried to think. "Could it be a station?" Lucas asked. Will nodded. "It might be," He said, but then Dustin shook his head. "No, she said the tracks went inside the building,"

"You do know many train stations have tracks that go inside of them right? Penn Station is one of them," Mike said. "Yeah, Yeah, I guess so," Dustin said, moving his head around to agree. "Hold on..." They heard El say. Mike quickly turned his head back to her. "What is it?"

"I'm bad at explaining things, but the tracks all lead into individual doors," She said. "Individual doors?" Will asked, arching an eyebrow. They all tried to understand what she meant until they heard Dustin gasp. "I got it!" He blurted out. "Got what?"

"I know what she sees! It's a roundhouse!"

"A roundhouse? You mean that house-type building that keeps the locomotives to rest before the next day, or whenever they're needed again?" Will asked. Dustin nodded. "Yes!"

"G-Guys..."

Dustin gasped, then looked at their superpowered friend. "El... What do you see?" Will asked. With that tone she made, they all knew she saw something surprising. "Let me guess, it's that talking train again?" Mike asked.

Through the doors of this 'roundhouse', She saw that blue steam locomotive, slowly coming out the doors. It was so dark in the Upside Down, the only light was the ominous red light behind the dark clouds of the parallel world. The light shined on the train, the red glow bouncing off of the engine's face. El wasn't scared of it, it didn't look threatening. It looked harmless. It didn't look scary, or evil. Or even disturbing. It looked... Like it fits. Despite it being an inanimate object, being alive in this new world. But the look on the face of this train looked worried. And scared.

El knew her friends were wondering what was happening. But, she knew she had to talk to the engine again. "W-Where are you from?" She asked. She saw the train in front of her and gasped. It shook on the rails below it, slightly bouncing back with steam blowing out from underneath it. El gasped as well because she thought it had seen her, but it clearly didn't. She didn't mean to scare it.

"Where... Where are you from?" She asked them. "I heard you said something about a 'Sodor' before,"

"El what is happening?" Mike asked. "Shh! Be quiet, Mike!" El said.

"I want to help you..." El said.

But then, something bizarre happened, and El couldn't keep the connection, and she lost contact and had to remove the blindfold. "Ugh, damn it..." She said as she took it off. "El, what happened?!" Mike asked. El shook her head. "It's the steam engine," She started. "He's clearly in trouble with the Upside Down, and I was about to get to the bottom of it, but I lost the connection with it,"

"Can't you just try again?" Dustin asked. "Dude, are you crazy? You'll drain her powers out!" Mike yelled at him. El wanted to try again, but she knows she needs to rest. Her nose was already bleeding, and he second nostril started to redden. She once had to dab into this power back to back before, but this felt like it was draining more of her energy than before. Probably because this is a whole entirely different dimension, and not in close proximity like the parallel universe, which is the Upside Down. "Mike's right," She said. "This is draining me out, you guys were right, this is a new dimension, it's not ours, and... It's barely the Upside Down. It's far..."

Mike nodded. "We need to rest up,"

"But... wait, what?! Rest up!? What if the Upside Down is back, you want us to rest?!" Dustin gasped. "At least it's not near us. We don't need any more problems," Mike said.

Will sighed. "But... Now the problem is with something innocent..."

"It's not our problem, as long as it doesn't come back to Hawkins, we are fine," Mike said.

"Thomas?"

Steam hissed.

"Thomas?!"

Steam blew out from the small engine.

"Oh, godred, Annie! Is Thomas alright?!"

More steam blew out until there was no more. Thomas ran out of steam and couldn't start back up. He was also knocked out. Which, by the way, shouldn't happen to an engine when this occurs. Thankfully, someone called for help. One of the workers at the station platform. Thomas shut off not too far from the station, so one of the station masters saw when Thomas was slowing and eventually stopped. So, they quickly called for Thomas to get help.

The breakdown train came. And Thomas awoke. He awoke by the blast of a diesel horn. "C-C-Cinders and a-a-ashes!" He yelled. Thomas looked up and saw a familiar diesel engine. "Salty?" A (BR) Class 07 Diesel-Electric shunter. The shunter rolled up next to Thomas, on the track over, pushing a brake down train. He was a little confused because Salty works at the docks. "Hello, Thomas! Ha arr! Had no other engine to help out, so I'm gonna be the one to help you this afternoon! Mind... Mind telling me what happened?"

Thomas didn't know what to tell him. "I.. Ran out of steam, and I.. guess I got knocked out," He told him. The look that Salty gave, seemed like he was confused. "Knocked out? I have never seen that happen before," Salty said.

"Tsk tsk tsk..." A voice said. Thomas internally gasped, because he recognized the voice. He looked to the right and saw a lady coming out of Salty's cab. "Another mishap? Talk about confusion and delay,"

"M-Miss Taylor..." Thomas said. The lady had a clipboard in her hand. She stood on the ballast, looking at the blue engine. "And just what else happened to you, you bloody cock-up," She said. "U-Uh...um,"

Ms. Taylor scoffed, then rolled her eyes. "William? What is going on with your engine?"

There was no answer.

"William?"

That's when it dawned on Thomas.

'Oh, BOLLOCKS...' Thomas screamed at himself in his head. He knew he felt like something was missing from his cab. And now he realizes why he ran out of steam. Ms. Taylor was already walking up on Thomas's steps. And when she reached into the cab, and saw no fireman, "Where is William?" She asked. Thomas knew he had to tell the truth. "Um... Ma'am, I... I left without him by accident this morning," Thomas said, cringing. He felt Ms. Taylor coming back down. "You, what?"

"I... It was an acci-"

"You wanker! That is completely irresponsible, not even a bloody diesel would make such a daft mistake!" Ms. Taylor snapped at Thomas. Thomas felt like an idiot. "B-But I-"

"No buts! It's about time this railway mans up from this crap that happens every day!" She yelled. She turned to the workmen. "Put coal in his firebox, let see him to the sheds immediately. Fetch a diesel to finish his job for the day," She said. "WHAT?!" Annie and Clarabel both gasped. "B-But Ma'am!" Thomas protested.

"Um," One of the workmen tried to talk to her. "Shouldn't you need to get Hatt's permission to do this first?" They asked. She turned around to them. "I am the Board Of Transport. I call the shots," She said. "Come on, Chop! Chop!" She yelled at the workman. "Get him to the sheds!"

Thomas watched as she went back into Salty and rolled off. "...Fucking knob," Thomas grunted.

"Thomas you can't leave us!" Annie said. "Sorry, but I have to. I'll be back tomorrow though. I hope you will have a nice diesel, like Mavis or something," Thomas got uncoupled from his passenger coaches. "See you," Then, he puffed away.

Once Thomas reached back to the sheds, he was the only one there. And also, he was sad. What was the future of steam engines? They once had to fear being torn apart alive, and Sodor was the sanctuary for them. "Now this little bitch thinks she can come in here and dictate us around? Maybe I need to go to Sir Topham Hatt... and ask him what all this shit is about," He said to himself. He finished turning on the turntable and backed into the sheds. He rolled up into his birth and stopped. "... I wish Daniel was here..." He said to himself. He loves Daniel a lot. When that engine was here, it gave Thomas another purpose in his life. He never felt that connected to an engine or human that much before. Engines can have crushes on each other, but Thomas wasn't much of the type to be all lovey-dovey. But it all changed when he met Daniel when he accidentally turned into a human via the magic buffers. The tank engine was planning to go to Daniel just before, but then he realized it was mid-day, and Daniel is probably at school. He doesn't want to go there during these times and someone sees someone jump out of a pair of buffers.

Thomas sighed. "I'll show her..." He said. "I'll show her that steam engines, can do big things,"
