Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth. Yet another thing I noticed about the promotional material is how Durin the IV needs Disa to have agency despite being a Dwarf. And so I gave him agency in this flash piece.
Edit - I realized there might be some missing context for those who've not seen the trailer, but I'll start with the relevant lore. Every Durin is named Durin because they are noted as being like the first Durin, yet Disa is effectively telling Durin that one day he'll be recognized by his people despite the fact him carrying the name Durin means he already is.
The Voice of Durin
"Who do you think you are, woman?" roared Durin the fourth, the anger and furry expected of a Dwarf being wronged seething forth.
"Who do I think I am?" Disa said, placing her hands on her hips. "Who do you think you are, acting like a man and yelling at me?"
"Who do I think I am?" Durin continued. "I am no Man, woman, but a Dwarf, and whether we be woman-folk or not are quite capable of voicing our own voices, yet you woman presume to speak for me, to tell me that my time will eventually come as if I need a woman to be Dwarf enough? How dare you!"
"How dare you try and put a woman in her place!" Disa roared back.
"Your place is most certainly not in patronizing your own husband!" he roared back. "So, if you don't mind, I am going to my forge, and don't you dare follow me there!"
And he left Disa fuming, feeling she was in the right.
