Paya was awakened by a series of knocks on Mipha's bedroom door, followed by a voice.

"Good morning, my beautiful flower. May I come in?"

Paya smiled at his nickname for her, and she quickly scrambled to cover her bare legs with the blankets. "Yes, Prince Sidon. I should warn you, I just woke up. You may not think I'm such a beautiful flower anymore."

The door opened, and he beamed at her with dreamy eyes. "My dear Paya. You are gorgeous! Never think otherwise. In fact, you are even more gorgeous to me today than you were yesterday, and I never thought could be possible."

Paya was blushing again, but she couldn't help but smile at his compliments while her stomach knotted up again.

He was carrying a tray that contained two full plates of food, and he closed the door behind him. "I brought you some breakfast, sweet one."

"Oh, Sidon! Thank you!" He handed her a plate and awkwardly moved to sit on the floor with his own.

"Sidon, you may sit next to me. Both you and Purah said you won't bite, and I won't bite either."

He grinned and his heart rate quickened as he stood, and he sat on the bed next to her. She was holding the blankets over herself, but he could see the top of her aqua nightdress he had chosen for her. "My dear, it appears that nightdress fits you perfectly. I am thrilled it worked for you! You are a celestial being to my eyes."

Paya blushed, smiled, and shyly thanked him. They both finished their breakfast together, laughing and talking the whole time.

"Little minnow, I have a surprise in store for you today. Please tell me, do you like the water? Can you swim?"

Paya nodded. "Grandmother taught me how to swim when I was a young child in the few small ponds and patchy waters of Kakariko Village. There isn't a lot of room there to swim, but I really enjoy the water, and I always have. It's one of the main reasons I've always wanted to visit Zora's Domain."

Sidon's heart leapt at the words he hoped she would say. "Good! Then you will love what I have in store for you today."

Paya beamed at him. "Are you taking me swimming, Your Highness?"

"Yes, my dear. And please, call me Sidon. Remember, you don't have to be formal toward me, my pearl." He spoke warmly without any hint of impatience in his voice.

She blushed and lowered her head, speaking quietly. "Thank you, Sidon. It's just not…what I'm used to yet. I...was raised to respect royalty and understand my place."

He bent down and gently lifted her chin with his hand, bringing her captivating large brown eyes to meet his golden ones. There was a hint of sadness in his golden eyes as he lowered his voice to a whisper. "My dear Paya. Your place...is right here beside me."

He moved his face once again close to hers, and they shared a second kiss together, only much deeper than the last. Their tongues met for the first time, and Paya immediately noticed his sharp teeth. She was careful not to cut herself on the teeth that were so different from her own. Sidon gently pulled his face back from hers, his voice low, and his breathing quickened.

"Paya, I cannot describe how...exquisite you taste." He was immediately horrified at the feelings that were welling up within him again as he held the young Sheikah woman's face close to his.

The Sheikah woman smiled and tried her hardest to keep looking him in the eye, and she couldn't stop the feelings of desire that were growing. She was blushing again, and she needed to hide.

Paya quickly slid the blankets off and lifted herself off the bed, and started to head for the bathroom.

"My dear, whatever is the matter?"

She froze and turned to face him, forgetting she had nothing but undergarments on for bottoms and that her nightdress was very short. "N-nothing, S-Sidon."

He averted his gaze out of respect to preserve her modesty, but he could hear her increased heart rate. "My dear flower, there is no need to lie. Please, if something is wrong, maybe I can help."

"I..felt like I needed to hide from you." She felt ridiculous saying it, but she clearly wasn't going to get away with fibbing to him.

"My dear! Whatever for?" He snapped his head back to face her, as her response surprised him, and he suddenly forgot he was averting his gaze. His eyes widened as he saw her standing in front of him with a much smaller amount of clothing on than he had seen her in until then.

"Paya...your beauty takes my breath away."

Paya took a deep breath before speaking, resigning herself to accept the new feelings.

"You...aren't so bad yourself, Sidon." He shifted himself to lie down next to where she had been sitting on the bed, and she sat beside him again.

"I'm not so bad, am I? How bad then?" he asked, trying not to smirk.

She moved her face to hover above his, and she couldn't help herself anymore. Her voice was a whisper. "Not bad at all."

She suddenly felt brave and kissed him deeply again as she tentatively placed her hands on his muscular bare chest. She tried to keep her breathing slow and even while she slowly ran her hands along his upper body. She loved the feeling of his cool, scaly skin under her warm hands. Her heart was pounding again, and she couldn't help herself as she moved downward to his stomach and abs, taking in the feeling of his very toned muscles.

She pulled her face gently away from his and took another deep breath before she spoke.

"Sidon, you are the most gorgeous being I have ever seen. I feel a little awkward saying this since we just met, but you are such a pure soul. You are so loving and generous toward me, even though you barely know me."

He smiled up at her, gazing into her eyes as she leaned over him. "I wouldn't dream of treating such a treasure any other way, Paya."

She could hear his increased breathing rate as he spoke, and he quickly changed the subject. "My dear, won't you please put on that bathing suit? I have somewhere I'd love for you to see. I'll be right back." He kissed her on the lips sweetly before he left and closed the door behind him.

Paya took a deep breath, thinking about what had just occurred. Things were moving fast between them, and the worst part was, as a Zora, he knew exactly how she felt about him because of his heightened shark-like senses. They were clearly both very attracted to each other. She needed to be careful, so she quickly tried to think about anything else. She stood and removed her nightdress and undergarments and pulled the one-piece bathing suit from the closet.

The suit was dark blue in color, similar to the style of the Zora armor she had seen on the soldiers stationed around the Domain. She carefully slipped into it, loving the feeling of the soft, rubbery material against her skin. She was surprised to find it was quite warm as well.

There was another knock at the door. "I have returned to you, my precious flower. May I come in?"

"Yes, Sidon. I'm ready."

He opened the door and his eyes widened at the sight of her. The bathing suit outlined her perfect body very well, and he swallowed hard. "I thought it was impossible for you to be even more beautiful, yet here you stand before me. You dazzle me, Paya."

She blushed, then noticed he was carrying what looked like a saddle.

"What is that?" she asked curiously.

"Over two years ago Princess Zelda made this for riding on my back. She never once slipped off while in the saddle. I thought maybe I could take you for a little ride around East Reservoir Lake, if you would like to, of course."

"Zelda rode in that?"

"Yes. Backwards, even."

Wonder filled her mind. She had no idea the princess was so hardcore! Then again, she did help save all of Hyrule with her Triforce power. She had to admit, that was pretty hardcore.

Paya couldn't hide her excitement. "I would love to!"

The two of them emerged from Mipha's room hand in hand. They walked the long staircase to the main part of the town, and Paya noticed a group of young Zora females staring at her, wailing and crying as they walked by.

"What's wrong with them?" she whispered to Sidon after they passed.

"Oh, don't mind them. I have a...fan club. They're a bit...obsessed with me. I do hope that doesn't make you uncomfortable."

"Not at all, Sidon. How do I join this fan club of yours?" She grinned at him, and he grinned back.

"My dear, you are an honorary member and the only one who catches my eye. You can be the new president if you'd like."

She giggled at him as they continued walking the curved, wide staircase to the east, leading out of the main area of the Domain toward East Reservoir Lake.
