"Ready to go onto the next world?" I ask my siblings.

"Mhm," Lumine and Aether both say.

"No matter what, we'll be together," I say as a red-black star-shaped portal opens in front of us.

I summon a bunch of daggers made of shadows as Lumine and Aether draw their swords. We summon our wings, my sibling's wings being a transparent yellow with three parts, while my wings were black and feathered.

A platinum blond lady with amber eyes walks through the portal. "Your journey ends here."

Lumine, Aether, and I charge at the unknown person. My siblings get trapped as the lady summons a red-black cube, trapping my siblings in it. She shrinks it down till it's a small cube.

I summon my scythe. Flying behind the unknown lady, I swing. The lady, who I determined to be a god, starts to trap me in the cube. I wrap the shadows around me.

"Give my siblings back! This is not over!"

•••

"And that's what happened. The Unknown God stole my siblings from me. I need to find them," I say to Paimon.

"Paimon will help you. Paimon will be the best travel guide. Currently, we are in Mondstat. Maybe we'll find something out about your siblings."

"Hopefully. Well, then we should go," I say walking toward the path. "What's this?" I ask as we come across a device on the side of the path.

"It's a teleport waypoint. You can teleport to other parts of the world through the waypoints."

"Oh. Cool. Come on. We should get going."

As we get to a lake with an island in the middle with a statue, Paimon says, "That's a statue of the seven. Let's head over to it."

"At least my clock and dress dry quick and my bag is waterproof," I say as I start to swim over to the island. "Ugh. I hate the feeling of wet socks."

"You should touch the statue of the seven. It's a statue of Mondstat's god, Barbatos. He's the Anemo Archon."

"Maybe he knows something about my siblings," I say as I place my hand on the gold plate.

As I'm reading what the plate says, a tingling sensation happens all over my body. The sphere that Barbatos is holding starts to glow teal. The glow comes out of the sphere and into my hand.

"Did you get the ability to use the Anemo element?" Paimon asks.

"I don't know. Did I?"

"You're the one who got the powers! Why don't you try to use Ameno?"

"Like this?" I ask as I reach out my hand. I imagine a gust of wind flowing out of my hand and it does. "Guess I can use Anemo. Let's head to Mondstat."

"Mhm."

"Yes! Now I can use the wind to float over the water without getting wet," I say as I use the wind to levitate myself across the water.

As we're walking toward the forest, a blue dragon flies above us.

"I didn't know that there were dragons in this world."

"There are."

"Let's go see where it lands," I say running off.

"Hey! Wait for Paimon!"

As we get to the forest, we hide behind a tree on the outer edge of the clearing. In the clearing, the dragon was on a rock and there was a young man, looking about eighteen, in green talking with the dragon.

As I'm watching, the elemental energy in me reacts. The dragon notices and flies off.

"Who's there?" the green guy asks.

I start to come out from behind the tree and he teleports away.

"Well, that was strange," I say.

"Yeah. What's that red gem on the rock?"

Walking over to it, I pick up the read tear-shaped gem. "It looks like a gem," I say as I put it into my bag.

As we're heading out of the forest, a voice comes from up on the cliff. "Hey! You! Stop right there!"

A girl in red jumps down off the cliff in front of us, rolling on impact.

"May the Anemo God protect you, stranger! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. You don't look like citizens of Mondstat. Explain yourselves!"

"We're not looking for trouble," Paimon says.

"That's what all the troublemakers say."

"I'm Cecelia. Nice to meet you."

"Doesn't sound like a local name to me. And this mascot... What's the deal with it?"

"Oh. This? This is my emergency food."

"What! Paimon's not emergency food!"

"I'm kidding. We're traveling partners."

"We've only been traveling partners for two months but we've become best friends."

"So, to sum it up, you're traveling partners?"

"Yup," I say.

"Well look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstat. Best you get inside the city as soon as possible. It's not far from here. I'll escort you there."

"Thank you, but aren't you out here for some other reason?"

"I am, but I can keep both of you safe while doing that too. Besides... I'm not sure I can trust you two just yet."

"That's a rude way to speak to guests. I'm sure your Kights of Favonius instruct you to be more civil to outsiders."

"Oh, ahh... I'm sorry. You're right that's something I shouldn't say a knight. How did you know?"

"Let's just say I have some experience in being in groups where I have to do a lot of talking."

"Oh. I give you my apologies strange yet... Respectable travelers."

"It's fine."

"That sounded so fake!" Paimon says.

"Do you have something against the type of language used in the Knights of Favonius handbook?"

"No. I'm sorry about her," I say.

"We have to go now."

"Is there anything I could help you with?"

"Can you fight?"

"Yes."

"Then you can help me clear out this hillichurl camp. Ever since Stormterror started attacking Mondstat, the hillichurls have been getting closer to Mondstat. They usually don't come this close to the city."

"So, we kill them?"

"Yup."

As we get to the camp, I summon my scythe.

"Ready?" I ask and then we rush into the camp.

Amber shoots the hillichurl that's on the tower and it falls off dead. I rush towards the hillichurls and slice through their necks, their heads rolling to the ground, and their bodies falling into a puddle of blood.

I charge at the large black hillichurl and I use the wind to pull the wooden shield out of its hand. I slice open its stomach with my scythe, the blood spraying out as it falls backward. As he falls, I slice off his head in one fell swoop, my scythe cutting through his neck as if it was made of butter.

I fling the blood off my scythe and put it on my back, letting it dissipate. I walk over to Amber who is looking at me in shock.

"What?"

"You just slaughtered them all and you're covered in blood! Are you hurt?"

"No. I'm fine," I say as I snap my fingers cleaning the blood off my clothes.

"How did you do that?"

"Magic."

"Your face still has blood on it."

I wipe the blood off my face with the back of my hand. "Are gonna head to Mondstat now?"

"Yeah."

"Cool."
