I own neither Percy Jackson nor Danmachi.
His plan had worked he died, but yet lived only being saved from death through the physician's cure. At least that was what he thought, he was however not going to land on the mystical island Ogygia, but rather about to crash into the a forest near a big city. This was not just any city however, no this was the most important city in the world that had a dungeon filled with monsters under it.
Festus has taken considerable damage from their fight with Gaia, something he would have to fix in order to escape the island together with Calypso. But now he was quite tired, so he let Festus handle the landing as he fell asleep on the bronze Dragon.
It was in the dead of the night when Hephaestus was called to an emergency Denatus. The reason being that a foreign divine has been detected around Orario. Who or what it was that had released said energy was unknown. What they did know however was that soon after the energy subsided a giant flying bronze thing had been spotted in the skies which had landed somewhere in a forest outside Orario. An scout troop has already been sent out to check what exactly had landed there and she and the other god's were discussing who to send after the scouts return.
Many of them were of course in favor of sending the either the strongest of the Loki or of the Freya familia. She was more or less keeping out of the discussion, Loki however wasn't since her children had just returned from a dungeon exploration. Well it wasn't like she wasn't able to understand her friend, after all her own children went along with Loki's.
But she right now she was just completely tired out and didn't want to deal with any of this. Especially since they probably had to wait until next morning anyway, since that was when the scouts would approximately return.
She was then snapped out of her thoughts by Loki who has started pointing in her direction while yelling something about her familia. This was going to be a long night she could feel it already.
Festus was not having a good day, first thier plan to reach the island failed and now he had been forced to land in a forest in a place he had never seen before. He was not looking forward to seeing his friends face when he realized what had happened, although to be fair he also wasn't completely sure what just happened and it didn't matter to him at the moment since the top priority right now was protecting his friend.
Which at the moment was pretty easy since he was sleeping, he had been doing so for the past few hours and the sun was now slowly starting to come out as the morning came.
Loki had just been given the report the scouts wrote and she had to admit this was troubling. To be honest it was worse then she expected, a Giant bronze Dragon wasn't something that just falls out of the sky every day and combined with the information they already had it became somewhat frightening. Which of course led the other god's to pressure her even more to send her familia to take care of it. Freya had been able to use her charm to keep the mass of the other god's from having her do it and so the only other option was her.
However this wasn't the only thing that the reports mentioned, it also talked about the finer details of the dragon and some of these things left her stunned. She also noticed the growing look of concern on the faces of Hephaestus and Goibniu.
"If what this report says is true we should send a few blacksmith with them." Goibniu then said with his arms crossed with many of the other gods agreeing.
"I don't think that's the best idea." Hephaestus said in a thoughtful tone.
"While i know that our children are skillful in the art of blacksmithing this is something out of thier league." She then added with a confident voice that made other god's murmur in approval.
"Hmm you might be right, if this thing is really as described in this report it would be something that none of my children would be able to make. But then the only option left would be for one of us to go." He said shifting into a thinking pose as another round of murmurs came over the other god's.
"I do have to admit that i would like to see this dragon." Hephaestus said with a smile and challenging look to Goibniu.
"I would be lying if i said i didn't." Goibniu said returning the look clearly accepting the challenge.
"Well then let's settle this the easy way, with a classic round of rock paper scissors!" Loki then yelled while clapping her hands together.
That's it for the first chapter hope you had fun.
