Episode 4 was amazing.

A content smile plastered on my face as I put back my phone. Now awaiting for the next episode of Season 4 Overlord.

I'm not really a fan of the anime but I will admit, I love the show.

But I am wondering when they will show Zesshi Zetsumei. Oh, by the way, my name is Ted, just Ted.

I don't call myself an otaku, but I am a watcher of anime. I don't call myself a gamer but I do play and have been playing a single mobile rpg game for 10 years called Hyrus Online.

So, for those who wants to know why I am mentioning Zesshi, it's because I got interested in her character.

As soon as she was revealed on season 3, she got my attention.

I don't know why or how I got interested but well, it just sort of happened.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not gonna call her my 'Waifu' or anything like that. It's just that she is intriguing.

Anyways, enough of that.

I stood up and went to the kitchen, preparing to cook for dinner. It's 8:00 in the evening and I still haven't ate. Not to mention I have to work tomorrow.

But even before I reach the door to my room, I felt an unseen force struck me.

It was like I was suddenly met with a dense cold air that immediately engulfed my entire being.

Before I knew it, I started getting dizzy.

My legs were so wobbly that I fell on my butt, and it isn't long before I layed there unconscious.

...

...

I feel like I'm drowning, everything around me is dark and I can't hear anything. Not even able to breathe, or even make a sound as I yell.

I tried to move, but to no avail as my limbs seem to not heed my orders. In this situation, I should feel despair, hopelessness or even anxiety.

Yet I feel safe, like I'm not going to die any time soon.

It's a weird alien feeling and I can't help but feel like there's someone, or something there watching me.

I tried to call out, no response.

Why was I here? Was I kidnapped? Where was I taken? Why me?

So many questions raced inside my mind but the only answer I got was silence. And eventually, I lost consciousness again.

...

...

I felt a warm breeze hit me in the face.

Before opening my eyes, I already knew that I was standing upright. Also, what's with the feeling in my back?

I finally opened my eyes slowly, blinking again and again as they adjusted to the light of the sun.

I found myself standing in the middle of a...grassland, well, a barren one.

"The heck?" I say, looking around me only to find more grassland.

As I did turn however, I felt a shift on my back. Like something was attached on me.

I turned to see... 2 pairs of wings.

One was white, pure white and the other was fiery, like that of a phoenix.

"Whoa! What the hell!?" I yell, reaching behind me just to touch it.

As I did, there was a sensation of being touched, specifically from the new limb. Which simply meant that it truly is connected to me.

I stood there frozen for a second, trying to come to terms with what is happening.

Then, a wave of realization hit me. Before looking at my attire.

Imagine my surprise when I saw how tall I was and the AOT Scout Regimen's uniform. Being worn by none other than me.

A feature of Hyrus online is the use of Avatars or costumes, although a peculiar feature of the game was the availability of using 3 pairs of wings.

What I used as Avatar were the Holy Angel Wing, the High Phoenix wing and the Scout Regimen's uniform, without the ODM gear.

I got the uniform on a one time event, on the cash shop that is.

That confirms it. I am not in my own body anymore, rather the body of my character in Hyrus Online.

Moe Tivay Shion

...yes, that is his name.

Problem?

A sense of unfiltered childish joy filled my heart, but it was also replaced as I calmed myself up.

Now to test if I'm dreaming.

I mean, I did suddenly pass out whilst I was in my house, so I could be just dreaming.

With that said, a raised both hands, and gave myself a hard slap.

Fuboooom!*

I...felt a small sting, but that's not my focus as I turned around.

That slap I did, created a shockwave strong enough that it made to long and shallow trenches on each sides behind me.

Then I remember, the reason why my physical strength is severe.

You see, Moe's class is called Sage. The highest job of mage class on Hyrus online. But their parameters heavily leans on INTELLIGENCE and VITALITY.

But what I did with Moe is, I made sure to add a little bit more on his STRENGTH by using STR Ability Stones on his equipment.

Why I did that? Simple..

Mainly because STR stat adds more to Physical Attack Defense and Physical Damage, though the last one is extra.

Mages are heavily leaning on Magical Attack Defense due to the INT being their primary stat.

In short, mages are weak to physical attacks. So I decided to take care of that problem, even just a little bit.

As for the other stats, VIT adds more health and more health regen, MEN or MENTALITY adds more on MP regen and finally, DEX which adds more... dexterity I guess.

I mean it's the best stat IF you're an archer.

Now, Moe's Status Panel is like this.

Class: Sage

Lvl - 200

HP: 388266

MP: 423889

STR - 20072 (13252)

...

3 days later.

I've learned a lot about my current state.

One primary concern is...I'm strong as fuck.

I punched the air with all my might and uumm...yeah, let's just say, it's a huge detriment to the environment.

Second is obvious, I'm tough.

Fall damage doesn't even work on me anymore even after I jumped up and let myself fall.

I jumped so high, maybe about 5000 feet? I don't know, but it's so dang high.

I ran and as expected, I am fast. Though while I felt like I was running normally, that didn't seem to be the case to the world.

I left a huge trail of dust cloud.

If this is what I can do with only my Physical capabilities, than how about Magical?

I discovered that I didn't need to use my staff to use magic.

I used the weakest magic explosion attack of mages, the Mana Sphere.

My target? A tree with a trunk I cannot fully wrap my arms on.

The result?

Well, it didn't just end up obliterating the tree, rather it also obliterated it's fellow vegetation within a 100 meter range.

That's why I decided to practice using my physical prowess to its lowest. I mean one punch from me is enough to turn someone into a mist, I think.

My senses also turned out to have been increased. I mean, there are times I can sense odd things, like I have a sixth sense of some sort.

I also realize how alien this body feels to me.

I took a look at my reflection at a small creek I saw, and what I did saw felt very very odd.

I mean, Redeemer's face is quite the looker. But something doesn't feel right about it to me. Maybe my imagination, I guess?

I actually managed to hide my wings now, by...tucking them in my back.

I wanted to learn how to fly but being in an unknown place meant I could possibly attract the attention of things that I don't know, or people.

With imagination and focus, I can actually retract my wings. Still looked and felt unnatural though.

So yeah, here I am now. Sat on top of a big rock while thinking.

Thinking of what? Well what to do now of course.

For starters, I don't know where I am even. I just got to this forest and I've been thinking about a lot of things.

2 Days later.

Same as 3 days ago, every morning I wake up and just continue walking one direction, hoping to come across any signs of civilization.

I was thankful that my body seem to not need food, though I still can eat things. It's just that I never got hungry, even after 3 days.

Anyways. I was thinking about my situation.

Being isekai'd still didn't feel real, but then again, I'm still not waking up any time soon.

Whilst I'm on zoning out, a strong smell hit my nose.

The metallic scent of blood, along with something burning.

I stop in my tracks, wondering why I am suddenly on a cliche event. An anime troupe where MC suddenly stumbles on a trifle or battle of some sorts, MC resolves it and receive praises and possibly even get a harem member.

But I, Ted, am not that pathetic.

I am not a man who is bound to his lust, and not a man who objectifies the opposite sex.

I am a man who solely believes in monogamous relationship.

I am a man who gives his all to just one woman, one woman whom is his only focus.

That's not to say I'm a simp either, I believe that-

"There's nowhere for you to run!" A gruff male voice cut me out of my internal monologue.

"Was that English?" I uttered.

Not exactly my mother tongue but thankfully I can speak it.

And thanks to watching so many Hollywood movies and immitating how the actors spoke, I can converse smoothly...I think.

I was silent for a moment, before sighing and jogging towards the source.

...

...

...

"Run Enri! Hurry! Take your sister and Run!"

"No no no! Arghhhhh!"

She clenched her teeth as she desperately tried to fight the urge to wail.

With her little sister's hand on her grasp, she strained herself, running away as their pursuers taunt and scorn them from behind.

Why were they being attacked? What did they do to deserve this? Why? Why?

Enri shook her head, trying hard not to cry.

Her lungs are burning, her legs are at their limits, and their pursuers are catching up.

Then, as if her luck couldn't get worse, her tired legs finally gave out as she tripped.

Thinking fast, she pulled her younger sister in front, her back now exposed to the man in armor who was chasing them.

Enri closed her eyes, awaiting the inevitable pain.

But before she could feel any pain, a gust of wind flew past her and then...2 thuds with echoing clanks.

"Huh?" Enri heard her little sister say.

Enri opened her eyes to see Nemu, her little sister, staring right behind.

Confused, she turned to look.

There, standing merely 4 meters behind them was a hooded man taller then her.

He wore what seemed to be a brown jacket, a grey pants, black boots with black straps all the way to his torso and a green hooded short cloak with a symbol of sword-like wings on the back.

Then, her eyes widened as it landed on the man's right hand.

On his grasp, was a long glass-like blue double-edged sword glowing dimly.

She noticed the two dead bodies of the invading knights at his feet, both decapitated.

She forced that bile rising as she stood up, still putting Nemu right behind her.

Though wobbly, she managed to stand up.

"Are you alright?" She heard the man said.

His voice sounded...sad for some reason, but she ignored it and replied.

"Y-Yes. Thank you good sir. F-for saving me and my sister."

The man just turned his head and nodded, his hood obstructing most of his face.

"Take these men's swords for protection and stay here, I will come back when I'm done helping your village." The man said, turning to face the direction of the village.

Before Enri or even Nemu can ask anything else, the man disappeared in a blur.

There they were, dumbfounded at what just happened for a few moments before Enri finally snapped out of it and did as she told.

Whoever that man was, she needed to know.

...

...

Ted stopped for a moment, not to catch his breath but due to the nausea.

He lurched over, hand on his mouth as he tried to force down that bile from rising, though he failed.

"Bhurrkk!" Sounds of wretching can be heard as Ted emptied his already empty stomach.

He stayed hunched over, hand still cupping his mouth as his mind went awry.

'I-I...I actually killed someone! Oh my God! I actually killed-' he lurched again.

"Bhuarrk! Cough! Cough! Cough! Huff huff huff."

He took his time to recover, before straightening up.

'Oh no...no.. I..I have to go... I can't stay like this! There no time!' he thought, wiping his mouth with his sleeve.

Ted spat out the bitter taste on his mouth, cringing at the nauseating feeling still lingering.

He took a step forward, then another, then-

'Can-Can I even go further? If I go there, then I-I also have to kill again.' that thought made Ted stop.

Amateur he may be when it comes to these things, he knew pretty damn well that negotiation with the attacker of the village is out of the question.

As soon as he saw those two familiar looking girls and those two knights, in a familiar looking situation, he knew where he is in now.

The New World.

Of all the things, of all the coincidence that could possibly happen. This one he did not expect at all.

He likes the anime, he got transported as his game avatar to said anime, now his adventure has begun in the said anime.

Buy why? Why him?

The game he's playing didn't even end. In fact, there was gonna be an update regarding the release of the level cap, new lore, new things and a new map.

Ted grit his teeth, leaning against a tree for support.

Funnily enough, despite all his strength, he couldn't find any of it now as he actually struggled to stand.

He knew right there and then the difference between him and Momonga in this situation.

Whereas Momonga can actually kill without hesitation, Ted couldn't even move due to the shock of actually doing it.

Though for Momonga, it was due to his nature as an undead, not even including his Emotion Suppression.

He has taken life before, though only that of a livestock.

Human lives? He didn't even consider.

Ted took a glance at both of his hands, especially his bloodied right hand.

He clenched hard, closing his eyes as his breathing became labored.

"No!" Through gritted teeth, he whisper-yelled the word.

"Get it together Ted. The longer you stay here, the more lives are lost!" He said, forcing himself away from the tree.

He took a step, then another, then-

...

...

...

"Are these all of them!?" Asked a blond man in the same knight armor, though only fancier.

"Yes Captain! The rest who are alive are now here." Said an armored man with a darker complexion and more gruff.

In front of the men talking, are a group of people ranging from old to young, men and women. All tied to a one long rope.

Watching their every move were 26 fully armored knights.

The captain scrutinizing them was almost condescending. And the few villagers who saw, hated it.

"Hmmm, burn the houses, they won't nee-"

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!" A frightened yell stopped the captain from continuing his orders.

All eyes turned to a man who fell on his but pointing at something.

Their ears heard it before their eyes did. A thud followed by a clanking of armor.

There lay a knight, without a head.

Right beside said corpse, was a hooded man in green cloak, with a glass-like glowing sword in his hands.

It was silent. No one knew where this stranger come from or even when was he there.

The way he announced himself made them speechless, due to fear of course.

Regardless, after that sight, someone moved.

"W-What are you waiting for!? Get him!!" Yelled the Captain.

All around, the knights grouped up, drew their swords and charged, though it would seem pointless.

"Graaz Lanze."

As soon as the stranger said that, multitudes of the same glass-like swords rained down and impaled all 25 knights aside from two.

Each of the dead soldiers either have 3 or 4 swords impaling them.

Then, as quick as they've appeared, the swords dispersed into light particles, making the dead knights plop down in a dull thud.

"Hii!" Despite being on a horse, the captain splendidly fell down.

"N-No! I'm not gonna die in a place like this!" Panicked and obviously fearful, the Captain kept looking over at his shoulders as he crawled.

The other spared knight still stood with his sword up, yet his clanking armor was a clear sign he was afraid.

He knew that he can't rely on his Captain. Being born a noble, it was understandable that he merely got his position by the abuse of power.

And he didn't need to look back to confirm that the Captain is crawling away.

The stranger then started walking towards them, hand still holding that glassy sword.

Intimidating on his approach and it did not help that most of his face still obstructed by the green hood did a good work on emphasizing his mysterious aura further.

Each step made the knight unbearably frightened. How couldn't he?

A stranger that has just eliminated almost the entire platoon of knights in an instant, is now walking menacingly towards him.

But despite the knights fear, he knew that he has to do his mission, fulfill his duty.

He understood that his enemy will not show mercy, already evident with him not saying a word.

"Lend me your strength oh Gods." He prayed.

There were beads of sweat on his face, yet he still strengthened his resolve.

The knight took a deep breath, then with a roar, charged at his enemy.

Only to be met with a bare fist with enough force that dented his faceplate and crushed his face, effectively rendering him unconscious.

The sight of his underling being defeated in one shot was enough for the cowardly Captain to stand up and run.

He did run, for a few seconds.

The Captain felt himself get tugged back. Falling on his butt, the captain immediately tried to crawl away, anywhere away from this monster.

However, all hopes he has vanished as a hand wrapped itself on his armored foot.

"No! Noooo! Ple-Please let go! If you need money, I can give it to you! Un-unhand me I beg you! Please sp-spare me!!" Even if he yelled his pleas, it didn't seem to make the stranger stop dragging him back.

"Gold! Women! E-Even a noble title! I can give it to you! J-J-Just please! Let me li-!" The Captain was cut off as he was suddenly slammed to the ground with a sickening thud.

The stranger had enough of his bickering and smacked his body on the ground.

It wasn't enough to kill, but to render the Captain unconscious, as he did with the subordinate.

Once done, the stranger set the captain down and started walking towards the tied villagers.

Said villagers were wary, even fearful.

Understandable as the stranger proved to be far more terrifying than the attacking knights.

"You are safe now, calm down and let me untie you." The stranger's voice didn't sound reassuring.

Rather, the stranger's voice sounded sick. His words were mumbled, almost didn't sound clear.

The stranger did as he said regardless and untied them, even helped some get back up to their feet.

After he untied them all, the stranger took the rope and began tying the remaining knights.

"A-Aren't you gonna...k-kill them?" Asked a brawny man with bruises.

The stranger turned to him, before shaking his head.

"I'm sure some of you need answers." He replied before continuing.

After he did, he dragged the two and hanged them upside down on a tree.

Wordlessly, the stranger turned to the forest and started heading towards it.

"W-Wait!" Yelled an old man on a cane.

The stranger stopped and turned his head.

"I left behind two girls in the forest, I will come back with them." With that, the stranger turned and ran towards the forest.

...

...

...

Once out of sight, Ted leaned his back on a tree.

He let out deep breaths, forcing himself to calm down.

"Do I...have to get used to this?"

Six days ago, he was just a security guard for a mining company.

Just an average nobody who simply lives a mediocre life.

Never would he thought that he'll be plunged into this...cruel reality.

Isekai, a concept that many otakus would love. But for him, it's starting to become a nightmare.

Now that he thinks about it, he could just NOT move at all. Though the implications of that is...

The annihilation of Carne Village along with Gazef Stronoff and his subordinates by the hand of the Sunlight Scripture.

The fall of E-Rantel and the death of Nfirea Baleare along with his grandmother due to the invasion of the undead.

The Slane Theocracy controlling the Catastrophe Dragon Lord, whoever that is. By the World Item that messed with the mind of Shalltear Bloodfallen, Downfall of Castle and Country.

And the sad ending for Ninya's sister at the hands of the that organization whom he forgot the name of.

He's not gonna paint Ainz as a hero though, just someone who wants to protect what he had left.

He's still sour about what he did with Arche and her party.

"Heh." He chuckled.

Never once has he thought of being hero. Even as a kid, the one's he truly wanted to be like were MMA fighters and Famous Boxers like Muhammad Ali and Manny Pacquiao.

His childish fantasies were him being on the ring or the octagon fighting this big guy and winning.

Although despite his interest in Boxing and MMA, he never actually tapped into fighting.

The only fighting he experienced was him and this two drunk dudes on an alley, because of a misunderstanding.

"...I don't have much of a choice do I?"

He is not a hero, but if he knew that if something seriously bad will happen, he will have to move.

His guilt won't allow him to stay idle.

Only one question in his mind right now is...

'..what effects will my actions do to the future?'

To be Continued.

Still a noob in writing, please bear with me if there are a lot of problems.
