Opening his eyes once more, he finds it rather hard to move his body. Feeling slimy he tried to shake it off. As his vision returned from a blurry state, he saw a big smiling face and 2 people with a mask. Having an unreasonable urge to cry, he wailed. Slowly coming to a sniffle and stopping, he closed his eyes, falling asleep to wake up on a different day.

In Keven & Ryans orphanage, you could hear small children running around and playing, while the older ones head to the local school. A couple had arrived to look at the children. Entering the building with a firm knock, they saw many children. Some getting dressed, some eating, and some playing with their toys. They walked around the building, looking at more children before going to their chosen child and talking with them, before taking their leave to come to visit the next day. An eye followed the couple leave, and a slight thud was heard as a door closed. This door leads to an uncared room, with a child in it. This child had bluish-black hair that seemed to absorb light and bright red eyes that pierced the darkness of the room. This child was called Adonis; meaning lord, or blessed by beauty. However, to the people of the orphanage, he was called Monster, or the Devil.

This was all for a simple reason. See, Adonis is actually a wizard. Meaning that he can use an energy called magic. This energy normally flares up when distressed, and is especially strong when young and the control over magic is weak. Muggles, or non-magical people who see this, grow jealous or fear the power that a wizard has, especially religious people, who try to purge/exorcise these people. The grown-ups who do this, brainwash children to hate wizards as well.

But enough about wizards and muggles... You see, today is a special day. The day Adonis turns 11. The day he receives his letter, for the legendary school, Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry.
